LOVED Jane! She did such an incredible job. She was very helpful throughout my appointment. She described things and talked to me about my hair type and some suggestions. The end result was perfect and exactly what I wanted. Most definitely will be retuning to see Jane.

I have seen both Mia and Sage at this location and they both are absolutely fabulous. Mia did my cut and color prior to my wedding which was a huge task as this was my first time to the salon having been new to the area. Mia killed it and created the perfect color I had envisioned for my big day and the level of trust I had in her to bring my picture to life while scary, was so rewarding! (Long hair)

Sage recently did a cut and then came back for color a few days later. I loved the rapport I had with Sage during my cut that I wanted her to do my color. Sage is extremely thorough in both asking for what you want and also doing check-in’s throughout the appointment. I can’t wait to continue to work with Sage as I grow out my pixie cut and get her input
on how to along it along the way!(Short hair)

I had a generous consult with Ari. I brought her all of my goals and hopes and dreams and fears scheduled an appointment. She assured me that all I needed to do was relax and enjoy. The end result was mind blowing! She heard me and took all of my Ideas and created a living dream! I honestly could not be any happier!!! From the moment that I walked in the door to the time I left I felt totally understood taken care of and happy at Ananda. Thank you so much for an amazing experience.

Savanna was amazing! She listened to what I was looking for and did a fantastic job! She was a pleasure to spend time with for three hours. Anytime I’m in Asheville. I will definitely stop by and get my hair done by Savannah!

Sage not only has awesome hair skills, but people skills too! Today was my first time in over 5 years getting my hair cut by someone new and I was nervous. They were incredibly welcoming and had such a calm energy that made me feel comfortable. I was very happy that I meshed so well with them! For an open salon, the space isn’t very loud which is great since I get overstimulated pretty easily. Really nice aesthetic too! Bottom line: Sage is an inexplicably amazing stylist and I’m excited to come see them again. 🖤🖤🖤🖤

I’ve been seeing Savannah at Ananda Hair Studio (the downtown location) for around 2 years now & every time have had an incredible experience!! As someone with thick curly hair, I’ve definitely had some stylists cut more hair off than I’ve wanted—but Savannah has always cut off exactly as much as I’ve expected & has been really attentive to my needs. Savannah is also just generally very knowledgeable about hair (plus super easy going and genuine)! The full color she does on me always looks fantastic (you can see some pics below, both with it blown out & with my natural curls). Overall, I always really enjoy my experience at Ananda, they have a great atmosphere, great stylists, plus always have some complimentary drinks and great music on!! 10/10 would recommend ☺😊

I always leave here feeling great! I had my highlights done for the second time by Danielle and she has done such an amazing job both times. She used a treatment today, which made my hair feel so soft and the color looks flawless. Also had my hair cut by Nadja for the first time today and she put layers in and it looks so much better! Will definitely request this duo next time I’m there. They blow dried my hair together so it felt like a royal treatment today!

Abby is the only stylist in Asheville that I trust to do my hair. She does exactly what I ask for every time and it always looks amazing when she’s done. Abby is able to hold a flowing, easy conversation and is always giving me tips and tricks for doing my hair at home. I cannot say enough positive things about her and my experience, cannot recommend Abby enough

Wow wow wow!! Lindsey worked magic! In a few hours my hair was transformed. I love everything about her. She gave me the best suggestions, and I walked out with the prettiest cut and color. Her vibe is awesome, and it is matched by her talent!!!

Kendall was both extremely professional and friendly and it was a pleasure to get to know her a bit while getting my hair cut. She listened to what I wanted and went to work, asking any clarifying questions along the way. One of the best scalp massages I’ve ever had! 10 stars! I already booked my next appointment. I am looking forward to doing fashion colors with her one day soon!

I had a wonderful experience! Everyone at the salon is very friendly and welcoming. Kimberly did a wonderful job with my hair (color and haircut). She revived my beautiful blonde color and made my hair look healthy and pretty again. I’m impressed with how natural my highlights look. She is a very talented stylist.

Today was my first experience at Ananda. My first impression of the space was that it has an abundance of positive energy. I checked in with the extremely helpful receptionist and was offered a beverage as I made myself comfortable in the waiting area. I was greeted by Sage and I immediately knew I was in the right place. Sage’s energy matched the experience from when I first walked through the door. She was knowledge, professional and to top it all off she was an excellent listener. I’m very happy with my overall experience and I believe I’ve found my new hair spot. You all rock! Thank you 🙏

Just moved here and needed a new stylist. Was really impressed with having the option to do a consultation, emailed pictures to Barrett of my current hair and what I was looking for and she was able to give me a real idea of if it was possible and number of hours required. She did an amazing job, was super transparent about the process and gave me info on what would be needed for future appts. Loved the overall vibe, gave me some great free samples to try of some great products and really appreciated the hourly all inclusive cost structure.

I felt instantly comfortable with Shannon and confident in her skills! She is easy to be with, listens well, and I'm very happy with the result. It's a relief to have found a great stylist!

I had a lovely time with Rachel. She truly listened to my needs and did a fantastic job coloring my hair. I highly suggest her for blondes. She also gave me tips on how to improve my hair health out of the salon. I definitely will be returning to Rachel!

I’m very fortunate to have found Sam! She is a genius stylist! She is very professional and a great listener. She truly cares a great deal about her work. I come from California with the highest expectations and Sam could easily work at any of those high end boutique salons I used to go to in Beverly Hills. I don’t write reviews, but I wanted to praise Sam. I am a very picky person when it comes to just about everything, but especially my hair. Sam exceeded my expectations!!!
