This is such a fun store! I find something unique every time I go. We also took my nieces here their first trip here and now they insist on coming back whenever they visit. From books, to tea towels, beautiful journals, art prints, mugs, cards, and more, you can find a gift for anyone (or yourself) here. And it's items you wouldn't find anywhere else too!

Wonderful selection for both grown-ups and kids! And the gentleman at the register was super kind to my wild crew. We will definitely return on our next trip into Asheville.

I. love. this. store. Everything in it is so fun and well-designed. I particularly love jigsaw puzzles and stationary/cards, which they carry in abundance. It's a great store to purchase gifts, and I've only had good experiences with the staff.

One of the few places in town that actually sells paper stationary for letter writing! Cute shop with a lot of unique items and gift ideas.

My wife and I love this store. We just shopped for Christmas gifts for friends and family and ended up buying 80% of our small gifts from this store. It's not always the cheapest, but it's unique and it feels good to know I'm supporting someone just down the street from my house.

My GF and daughter love this place and I have bought a few things there, and here's what kind of place this is...I bought a cool Asheville patch there and after I ironed it on it started peeling off. The woman who owns the place's immediate repsponse was to offer to sew it on for me. And the sewing job she did was impeccable. Could not review this place more highly.

Whist is the preferred store in Ashville for getting interesting and unique greeting cards, knick-knacks, and small gifts. Always worth going in when you've got birthdays and holidays coming up.
