I have had several experiences in my life with physical therapists and Taylor is way above and beyond the rest. In my experience a lot of therapists don’t practice hands on/manual work. They rely more on heat and ultrasound. Taylor listens and assesses in a very thoughtful manner. It is obvious she really thinks about what the issues are and then treats manually with intention. And she is a very engaging person and pleasant to be with! Each time I left a treatment I felt well cared for, supported and better than when I arrived. I highly recommend Taylor for any physical therapy care.

I highly recommend Taylor! Working with her has made a remarkable difference in my lifestyle!
Before seeing Taylor, I suffered from hip pain, sciatica, and numbness in my feet. After a few sessions I was able to return to mountain biking, walking hilly terrain, and yoga.
The knowledge and exercises she shared with me have enabled me to become stronger than before the issues began.
It’s very exciting to return to my active lifestyle with no surgery required!

Highly recommend! Taylor is a knowledgeable physiotherapist and takes the time to listen to each concern and pain point. I've referred other athletes to her and have only heard positive feedback. 10/10!

I came to Taylor with gluteal tendinopathy which was causing significant, movement-inhibiting pain in my glute and hamstring. I couldn't walk up hills so my hiking life was very limited. Standing up from a chair was painful and only possible with leaning on something for assistance. Getting out of my sedan was painful enough that I considered buying an SUV.

I had been to another 'big box' physical therapist for about 6 weeks which was not successful. A neighbor recommended Taylor and I am happy to say that after about 8 weeks of therapy I am pain free and moving about easily and freely. Hiking, walking in the hills and getting out of my car are pain-free. I continue to do the exercises semi regularly to keep my glute strong and reduce the possibility of a similar injury.

Thank you Taylor!

Working with Taylor was life-changing. I struggled with right elbow tendinitis, left knee and hip pain for a while. I tried other PT places before and also acupuncture. She helped with practical exercises I continue to incorporate in my daily fitness routine and this has prevented flare-ups. We also did dry-needling which I found very helpful. She was very accommodating with my schedule. Her office is impeccable and welcoming. I've recommended Taylor to friends/family.

I am very grateful to have met and been able to work with Taylor at West Physiotherapy after struggling for several years with knee pain that was preventing me from doing the things I love. I had been feeling defeated and resigned to having to live with constant pain until such time as I am eligible for a knee replacement which, at 53 seemed like a very depressing prospect. First, and probably most importantly, Taylor helped break down some of the negative thoughts and ideas that were creating a barrier to my healing and then she came up with a practical plan for our follow-up visits and beyond. After my initial consultation with Taylor, we immediately got to work with a customized, muscle-strengthening and exercise plan that is effective is helping to manage my pain and fits my schedule without being overwhelming. Taylor has helped me uncover things that I had not considered could be contributing to my joint problems; my posture is better, I am walking more comfortably, I feel stronger and am generally feeling much more positive and hopeful about my future. Taylor is a genuinely caring person who asks a lot of questions to really get to the root of the problem while providing practical solutions to help her patients take back some control of their situation - definitely something that was I felt was lacking with other healthcare professionals I have worked with. I couldn't recommend Taylor more highly.

I came to Taylor a month after a running injury with knee pain. She helped me set up a plan and integrate exercises and stretches that helped heal. I especially appreciated her whole body approach- looking at all aspects of my lifestyle. Taylor is extremely knowledgable and intuitive, asks great questions, and I always left feeling like a gained more than I walked in with. Thanks to her, I'm back up and running again!

Taylor goes above & beyond! After going to a clinic for 12 visits, chiropractors & massage therapists, I thought hip replacement surgery was my only answer to my hip osteoarthritis. After several treatments & guidance from Taylor, my hip pain doesn’t run my life. I’m working towards building my cardio endurance again! I trust her knowledge & experience. I got lucky when I found Taylor!

My regular PT sent me to Taylor for issues she thought Taylor would be better suited to handle and she was right! Taylor deals with delicate subjects with a great balance of humor and frankness. I wanted to get back to my normal activities of hiking and mountain biking and living without constant pain and she helped me achieve that. I'm grateful and you will be too!

Pretty sure Taylor is changing the course of my life! After 7 years of chronic back pain/bulging disk after a crossfit injury, I'd given up hope that I could ever return to my active lifestyle after trying every intervention in the book (multiple PT, acupuncture, dry needling, yoga, steroid injections, weekly chiro, etc etc). Years later, an acute injury led me to working with Taylor-not only has she helped me navigate a pinched nerve in my back (from 10/10 pain to 0/10), she's addressing the root of my chronic pain, helping to eliminate the day to day pain from my old injury. My quality of life has greatly improved in the short 7 weeks of working with Taylor, and I'm excited to set and reach new goals with her help.

As both a life-long mover and movement educator, I sought out Taylor's expertise with a shoulder issue that I was unable to figure out for myself. Within a couple of treatments I noticed a significant reduction in discomfort accompanied by improvements in both form and function. I appreciate the time and attention she devoted to posture and body mechanics overall, not just the 'problem' area, and having digital access to her prescribed exercises has helped keep me on track to recovery. Highly recommend!

Taylor is very knowledgeable and professional. Her friendly personality makes it easy to discuss your issues. I am a novice runner but had to stop running because of experiencing hip and lower back pain. With Taylor’s technique and the exercises she provided, my pain is gone. Thank you for eliminating the pain that I was experiencing for months.

I had knee surgery for a torn ACL and meniscus in July 2019, and have basically had issues ever since. I've gone back and forth of feeling hopeless and hopeful. I wasn't feeling satisfied with other PT's I was seeing and someone had mentioned Taylor to me. I have NEVER had a PT be so thorough and curious about my knee. I loved the quiet, 1-on-1 aspect and not being in a loud open space with other patients. Taylor has helped me feel hopeful again in my journey to healing. If you haven't had success with previous PT's (especially in the insurance-based model), I highly highly recommend seeing Taylor!

I started to see Taylor after six months of intensive daily regimen including chiropractic manipulations, machine stretching, massage, etc. to treat a herniated disc. It suddenly jumped back in place. Taylor began semiweekly treatments and her care lasted several years resulting in no pain or other problems. Taylor is an excellent PT, knowledgeable and always applying new and innovative techniques. Her personality is outstanding and treatment from her is a welcome respite from stress of the day.

Taylor is a great physical therapist. I have used her for several issues. She has helped me every time. An added bonus is her wonderful caring personality. And don’t be afraid to try dry needling. It really does work! Thanks to Taylor for always helping me.

My life changed when I got the treatment that I needed from West Physiotherapy! I was recovering from a broken Fibula with surgery and could NOT get my range of motion to come back after 8 weeks of regular PT. I was feeling stuck, both physically, but also mentally, starting to feel a bit hopeless.
In 2 sessions Taylor was able to make significant progress and had full range of motion after just 4 sessions! Her diagnostic skills to determine the issues (a bone was out of place and needed to be coaxed back into place), and implement the correct treatment plan changed everything. I am now fully functional, which I was seeming unlikely before I met her. I’m back to hiking with a heavy pack, rowing on the water with a full length stroke, and most importantly, able to walk down stairs normally. Your body is worth it to invest in this!

I cannot recommend Taylor enough! I'm an active, 28 year old female, and began to experience debilitating back pain coupled with a really bizarre swollen ankle. I had tried gentle yoga, then a chiropractor to try to "fix" the situation. It wasn't until I began seeing Taylor that the symptoms were alleviated and I came out with a better understanding of my body and areas I could target and work on to remain proactive. Taylor's approach to the body as a "system" really proved to be the most effective and long-lasting treatment I've ever experienced. Where other treatments felt like slapping a band-aid on the problem, Taylor got to the root of the issues and fixed them from the inside out. Aside from being a magician and getting me back to my normal activity, she's also just an all-around great person who made the appointments fly by and always enjoyable.

Dr. Taylor McNair is the most qualified and most effective physical therapist I have seen for both my back and upper body issues. She thoroughly evaluates the condition(s), listens carefully to the client, is flexible to change/alter treatment as needed. Her fellowship in Functional Manual Therapy, I believe, is a large reason that she stands heads above other therapists. I also benefitted from dry needling, other physical therapy modalities, and of course the exercise programs she developed for me. Taylor is personable and honest and my sessions were enjoyable. Taylor is the “real deal.” If she thinks you’d be better served by a different therapist or specialty, she is upfront and helpful with referrals.

I went to Taylor after two different injuries, a broken tailbone and two years later, a badly sprained ankle. Taylor is so knowledgeable, kind, safe, careful, and open to all my questions! Dry needling also really helped me get mobility back. I'm back on the trail and back to jogging for exercise again!

Some background: I'm an active 27 year old who does a lot of climbing and running. Several months ago, I hurt my back while standing up?! to start a boulder problem. I was to the point where doing most anything was excruciating, and climbing was out of the question. I'm also in the medical field, and have seen many times the awesome work that physical therapy can do for back pain; I called up West Physiotherapy the day I was injured.

West Physiotherapy saw me almost immediately (they are super accommodating with scheduling), and helped me through the entirety of my recovery. Working with Taylor is wonderful-- she picks up on subtle findings in alignment, posture, and is incredibly thorough in her assessments. She crafted therapies specifically for my imbalances and weaknesses, with a detailed eye for form. She is also wonderfully personable and fun to work with!

Several months out, I'm climbing harder than ever, and still working with Taylor to make sure I have a healthy back forever!
