Jacksons Western Store

I had a fantastic experience at Jackson's Western Boot Store! The atmosphere was just what you'd hope for in a Western store – rustic and inviting. Their selection of boots and apparel was impressive, offering something for every taste.

What really stood out was the excellent customer service. Nathan was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, patiently answering all my questions. Amy, who works there, is an absolute sweetheart and made me feel right at home.

I also appreciate their commitment to supporting local businesses. It's heartwarming to see a store that cares about its community. And don't even get me started on their annual "porch sale" – the deals were unbelievable! If you're a Western enthusiast, or just looking for quality boots and friendly service, Jackson's is the place to go.

They ALWAYS have the best selection of clothes, boots, hats & more. They keep up with the styles. It's hard not to spend all day in there. All the employees are amazing & they really do know what they are talking about. It really is the best western store in NC. If they don’t have want you need, they will find it. Or recommend another store. Definitely worth the money!

Made me feel like I was in Texas walking in here. Boots, belts and tack, with a full service leather repair shop in the basement. Staff is fantastic.

First time in. Great place. I thought prices were fair esp. if you’ve ever been in a store like this before. Don’t come broke… The gal that helped me and my wife was awesome. Bought 2 pairs of boots and definitely going back for belts later. Big selection from affordable to high end. Recommend 👌🏼

Excellent customer service! I’m an Asheville native, lived here my whole life. I just had my first visit to Jackson’s ever. Amazing experience! I was assisted by Linda in the leather shop, she and the staff replaced a belt buckle for me. Linda made me feel right at home! No wonder they have been an Asheville staple since 1935! Will definitely be back!

This is a pricey place. Just don't want you to be walking in and get sticker shocked. I absolutely love looking around in this store! Love the smell of leather and the all the western attire. And those boots!!! Oh my goodness! The hats are so a plenty! The jeans assortment is wonderful.

Fantastic place for cowboy wear, boots, hats and even horse saddles, straps and tack gear.

Very friendly and helpful. Have hade several items repaired in the tack area.

Look these for getting horse supplies and prices are way better then stores.

The personnel at this store were friendly, and inviting. They have a large selection of cowboy boots and tack. I came in to the store and asked if they could fix the brim of my felt cowboy hat. They did so and didn't even want to charge me. I paid them anyway because they provided good service. Highly recommended.

Jackson's western store has every thing you need for your self as well as horse supplies.

This is a cute little store with tons of boots and riding gear. They also have clothes, hats and accessories. We went in for a belt and the service was friendly and quick.

Great old fashioned western store and was around when I was a kid 59 years ago and still going strong. If you love the smell of leather you will love this place. One of my favorite stores

I don’t understand the negative reviews?? I’ve been shopping there for over 40 years and have never had a bad experience! The staff is always helpful, available and friendly. The selection of products is outstanding and they are happy to order something if they don’t have it. No problems with special orders either!! Boot selection and staff has always met my needs (and I’ve bought a lot of boots there). Leather department is great and can fix just about anything and certainly everything I have taken in or requested. Largest selection of jeans in the area (men’s and women’s). With that said, I really don’t understand the negative reviews?!? I highly recommend this store and you should go see for yourself.

Everything you need in western gear that you could think of. Everyone was so helpful. It was fun looking through all the aisles at everything from saddles to hats, boots and clothes. Not to mention the really cool leather shop in the downstairs area! My favorite!

I wasn't prepared for the size of this store. Extensive selection of western wear, boots, hats and saddles - plus other horse gear. While supply chain issues have caused problems with hat selection, the amount is still large and the boot choices are unreal. If you can't find some here, you don't really want boots. The amount of horse tack is also large and choices are great. If you haven't checked out Jackson's, you need to drop by and look around. Who knows? You may find the boots of your dreams before you leave!

We visited here to find our first pair of western boots. Rachel helped us through the selection. She was excellent and gave us the exact experience we were looking for! She knows all about proper boot fit and care and was courteous and passionate for helping us find the right pair.

The store itself has an amazing selection of exotic leathers from a variety of brands, from ostrich to standard cowhide. I recommend visiting this store if you are in town. Thanks, Rachel!

I just want to say that I had a wonderful experience in Jackson’s today. Unfortunately there are not a lot of stores left that will provide you with one on one customer care anymore, other than pointing at an isle for you.
I was shopping for a pair of women’s boots that would be comfortable and stylish, I have problems with a bad knee. Their manager Rachel was beyond helpful! Not only did she take into consideration what my needs were in a boot but she had me sit while she ran back and forth with all kinds of ideas for me. She was patient, and knowledgeable. I have never had better service when purchasing a new pair of shoes.
I will be returning to shop again and I would recommend this wonderful establishment to anyone.
