I signed my wife and I up for a tea mixing class at Société last week. I'm not a tea drinker, but my wife absolutely loves tea. Since it was her 30th birthday, I wanted to do something special and different, which is exactly what this class was! Typically scheduled for an hour and a half, our teacher (and owner of the shop) was very thorough and engaging, which extended the program to about 2 hours. We tried 5 or so different teas of a variety of styles ranging from a cleanse, Chai, holiday special, and a black tea for some caffeine. Like I mentioned at the start, I don't drink tea...since that class, I've had 3 cups, and shared our learnings with family and friends (who also have fallen in love with the Chai we brought home). In addition to the tastings, everyone that attends the class is given a free jar of any tea they would like. When I told my wife a few days ago that I let my dad try the teas we brought home, she was (jokingly) angry that it meant she would have 1 less cup worth of tea now. Even if you don't sign up for the class, Société is a must visit for any tea drinker!!

I loved stumbling on these shops. Such a cute and mystical variety of tinctures, teas and mists. A wonderful shop about healing and finding fun herbs that speaks to you.

i love this gorgeous and truly special boutique! i stumbled upon it while on vacation years ago but still order from them! i can’t get enough of their mists and essential oil blends. everything is so very lovingly crafted. and the tea jars are breathtakingly beautiful!

This is definitely a must see place if you’re visiting Portsmouth! My boyfriend and I went for the tea brewing activity and it was so much fun. She is so personable and incredibly knowledgeable. I knew a few things about different teas and herbs, but left feeling like an expert! You also get to try a lot of different teas during the session, which left me walking away with a few new favorites!

I bought their stretch mark oil Labor Day weekend and love the results I’m seeing. I also use their CBD tea which helps me to calm and relax after long stressful days at work. I placed an order today for a refill of my stretch mark oil , and placed my order incorrectly , Joy said she would ship my order to me without the shipping fee which was great! I love this store.

Beautiful apothecary and tea shop owned by a lovely healing person, Joy. I highly recommend popping in. These days, gifts for loved ones which care for their wellbeing are a great idea more than ever.

I stopped in here on a visit to Portsmouth and loved browsing the shelves…. Left with some beautiful teas and flowers to put in my facial steamer. Love the glow tea!! Yum.

I was on holiday from the UK with family back in September touring the area.I had some sort of virus, cough etc, felt really unwell. I went into this beautiful apothecary and was given a cough mixture( which tasted lovely)
and a tea. Within a day I felt better, stopped coughing and slept like a log that night! Thank you so much. x

Joy is amazing and so knowledgeable, right away she makes you feel comfortable as if you had been friends for years. The selection is amazing and the products are excellent, even the Summer Eggnog.
