The store is clean and well kept, centrally located in downtown Portsmouth. They have some really cute clothes (although adjusting to the European to USA measurements takes a minute) and the staff is super sweet! I got to talk with Miss Abby and Miss Claire, and they were both kind, thoughtful and were more than accommodating to meet my needs. If you ever get a chance to stop in, I would highly recommend it!

I really enjoyed this store. I think it has a more friendly atmosphere than some other shops in the Portsmouth downtown area and the clothing is unique. Although the prices are a bit high, there is a wide selection and they do have things on sale, etc. I was greeted immediately when I walked in and the store clerk chatted with me which was nice. I would say that the store is EXTREMELY tight so it can get a little anxiety provoking when you are trying to move past others to shop. The woman working the register was not as friendly but I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and say that she may have been having a bad day. Their online selection is nice too! Also, I disagree with the Gap comment that someone made below.

Fantastic experience with FatFace in Portsmouth today. I returned an airlie where the stitching had come loose on the shoulder and they immediately replaced it saying they stand by their guarantee. Very impressed with the staff. Thank you.

LOVE the classic and cute clothing styles and fabrics used by Fat Face which I hadn’t heard of before the sale rack lured me in. Totally comfy cotton sweatshirts and sweaters and well as great casual dresses. Very nice staff too!

The workers here are very sweet and kindly let my husband and I in with our baby one night while they were about to close. They insisted I could look around. They didn’t have the size in something I liked so informed me when the next shipment should be in and then the worker that helped me out the day the orders came in dug through the shipment that had just came in just to find my size. I will be back!

The children’s line is amazing and they always have great sales! Fun store to visit

I found a new raincoat for my daughter. When I first purchased it, I had to guess with the help of an associate. I guessed wrong 🙈! I bought it back for an exchange 💱, this time with my daughter and my friend, who, being a woman, knew a lot more about woman's fashion than myself. (I'm a guy, what do I know?) My friend had a debate about sizes with another associate, but, they found the right size. Easy exchange. 20% off helped with sticker shock 😲. Still pricey, but, it looks good on my daughter. Now to convince her to part with the old coat 🧥.
Men's fashion as well. I'm all set so I didn't look.

We visited the Portsmouth location, very nice store, exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable staff. Nice selection of clothing for all weather and region.

Ugly, boring clothes. Like gap but worse

I was waiting at the register for about 5 mins with my 2 year old. Then the woman came with a hand full of clothes to cash out someone else. I had to move my stuff I was returning. My toddler was screaming and swiping clothes off the shelf in his stroller. Then the woman needed directions to another store all while my toddler was screaming. I put back my clothes I was purchasing and just did my return. When I said we were there first she said well she had the other woman's clothes in her hand. Well she shouldve gotten in line.
