Hampton Inn Portsmouth Central

Clean rooms and right in the middle of all the big box stores, as well as a short drive away from downtown Portsmouth. I really enjoyed the happy hour that the lobby has, from around 4:30-6 they will give you a free can of soda or bottle water and some snacks. They also have coffee right as you enter as well as cookies. There is also your standard continental breakfast. Although I traveled solo, this seems like a great hotel for families too.

Rooms were very nice. Pool was nice, clean. Hot tub was really hot! Service was very friendly EXCELLENT FREE BREAKFAST! Worth the stay! We will be back.

Got rooms to celebrate a friend's 50th Birthday Party. The rooms were great with a lovely bathroom. Five floors, swimming pool and hot tub, delicious breakfast all included. Close to everything. Worth it for sure 👍

Just checked in today, So far so good. Pretty clean rooms. Bathrooms are decent, the lobby is very clean and the Ladies behind the desk were very nice

Had a very pleasant stay here. I was only here ready for one night as I was driving up to Maine with friends. But I was so pleasantly surprised by everything there.

The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever been in. They also had a mini fridge with icebox AND a microwave in our room. These all came in clutch the next morning.

Also. The had free tampons and pads in the first floor bathroom. I know that seems like the bare minimum, but it’s not. It’s the only place I’ve ever stayed in that had that.

Breakfast was substantial and tasty, rooms clean and comfortable, and our son and I enjoyed the pool.

We were planning a last minute weekend to see some baseball and enjoy the beach. We found this hotel, because it was central to what we were doing and needed a dog friendly hotel. What a gem! The staff is so friendly. The hotel was clean, welcoming, and they had special little extras like cookies in the afternoon. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed this hotel. The location worked for us as there were many shops and restaurants close by. The happy hour was a hit with our kids, free snacks and drinks. It’s just a small perk that makes the stay better. Highly recommend this location if you’re not staying downtown.

This place is a hidden gem! The beds are extra comfortable, the rooms have everything you need and nothing you don't... Perfect climate control with heat, AC, fan and extra clean. Loved the large HDTV with all the channels. There is plenty of soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The employees/staff are extremely nice, accommodating and welcoming. The hotel is ultra clean and has a very nice pool and hot tub. There is ample free parking and it's very easy in, easy out. Whole Foods is a 2-3 minute walk. Trader Joes and all kinds of other shops, restaurants and retail are easy walking distance. I-95 is right there (but you don't hear road noise) and downtown Portsmouth is an easy drive or Uber away. Free hot coffee 24/7. The convenience shop area has everything you need for very reasonable prices. Mike checked me in at 5:00am after my flight was delayed 4 hours from Florida. He was so nice and welcoming. He knew my name and had my room keys ready. Colby checked me out and was very pleasant and friendly. Johanna is extremely nice too. I will definitely be staying here again. Everything about this place is perfect. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. I left an important item behind and Johanna tracked it down and stored it for me. Wonderful people, wonderful hotel!!!!

Had a great stay, breakfast was pretty good, they have a pool, hot tub and fitness room. They even have cookies in the lobby in the afternoon which I've never seen at a hotel before. Front desk agents were extremely friendly and helpful, can't beat the amenities and service for the price, all within a couple minutes drive to downtown. Would definitely stay here again!

I have stayed frequently at the Hampton on Durgin Ln. The staff is extremely friendly and eager to help. They keep the Hotel clean and well stocked. I really like the indoor Pool and Hot Tub. Also included is a free breakfast with great variety. Let me mention the weekday Managers Reception with the offer of a complimentary beer or wine. There’s also a variety of Sundries offered in the Lobby. Just off the interstate and only a few minutes from downtown Portsmouth with lots of activities there. Enjoy your stay here!

I often read reviews before picking a hotel and searched for several hotels before picking the hampton Inn and so glad I did. The rooms were clean, the hotel was clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable and Greg and Joana were amazing in accommodating something that happened with the reservation booking. They went above and beyond and were super friendly always with a smile. I appreciate it! I now know this will be my hotel of choice everytime I come to the area! Will definitely be back

Great service and amenities in this hotel. I loved that the complimentary coffee and tea were available 24/7. Great idea for a happy hour at the front desk and one complimentary drink then the second one was very reasonable price. Please keep that services in your hotel. Oh plus was fresh cookies in the evening! Very nice work! I’m definitely coming back very soon for personal trip and staying at your hotel.

Clean rooms, and nice lobby with all day coffee and tea and a nice happy hour in the afternoon if that's your thing. Nice indoor pool with music which was nice because it prevents people from blasting their own in there. Lots of people in the common areas, overall a hotel with a good feel.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Great customer service, including free drinks and snacks during the manager's reception. Convenient location to everything around the city. A great indoor pool and hot tub too.

This Hampton Inn is in a great location with a super helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable, we were within walking distance of shops and a grocery store and there were very informative lists of phone numbers - taxis and places to eat.
