The Home Depot

As far as Home Depot runs go, we’ve been a bunch lately. Help is sometimes offered at our local Home Depot, but we found ourselves in NH today and spotted in to check out mini fridges. We were joking around about some inconveniences with our Kitchen while getting help with the mini fridge, and got sound advice from the associate helping us load the fridge. Bruce is amazing! My husband and I inherited a house recently, and have been hit or miss with some projects. Went in for a new mini fridge, and Bruce was able to help us with that and so much more!

Newington/Portsmouth, needed assistance finding something and asked a service person if he worked in electrical, He replied "I can work in any department in this store". I just smiled and I heard myself telling people that at Lowe's. He took me right to the product I needed and I could tell from his conference he was an assistant to HD. Great job!!!!!!

Teresa helped us build a beautiful modern kitchen to our new home! She is so creative, smart, detailed and kind!
She was a pleasure to work with and also saved us a lot with coupons!

Not only did I find some fantastic deals today, but such helpful staff! PeggyAnn was my cashier...what a gem. Happy Mother's Day to her! I was happy to hear her proudly talk about her kids and grandkids. I hope she has many adventures to come, and continues to make people smile for many more days.

Justin in lumber was fantastic both times we went to have some plywood cut. Very knowledgeable, kind, and never made me feel like I was being a burden with all my different cuts. I am sure I will be back. Lol

I've always had great experiences here, the staff are very helpful and have always been able to help me find a solution to my home projects. I went in for paint today and Stacy was incredibly helpful in getting me the color I needed. She was very knowledgeable and passionate about her job. Thanks for the help!

Great experience. As always. Employees are helpful. Everything is nicely and mostly logically organized.

After pulling out a combination of Christmas decorations that were all mixed together I made an attempt to replace items (screws, bolts, washers) on my own at the Portsmouth NH Home Depot. Luckily I was able to get assistance from "Kevin" Home Depot employee that totally helped me pick the right items and saved me hours of frustration.

I also want to thank two employees in the paint section who did an outstanding job helping me on two separate visits. One gentlemen helped me choose a stain combination that would match my floors. He took the time to actually test more than five different multi-coat samples so that it would match. He is just another example of the above an beyond employees at this store. The other lady helped me with paint chip samples, explained how the system worked. She gave several good tips on how to choose the right colors at home. Very valuable information.

The employees here are nice, they care, they are patient, they smile, they are so helpful. I will drive and make my home improvement and new tool purchases at this store because of the excellent service I have received here. (Lowes is less than five minutes from my house, but I will drive 15 minutes to this store instead!!!)

Clean, products nicely displayed. Associates willing to help and spend the time to be sure your needs are met.

I was unsure how to use automatic cash out machine, an Associate, Emily, saw my struggles and immediately came over not only helped, but taught me how it works.

Really happy with this Home Depot. Been going there for years.

Garden shop is also filled with all sorts of marvels, from potted plants, seeds and trees.

I went with my husband, who wanted to check out the mulch. We also bought rose food. I asked the garden department cashier for the price on a decorative garden ornament and she graciously told me the unmarked price even though I decided I didn't wanted to spend so much. We are in our 70s with a limited income. Going shopping and socializing with people who might make us sick enough to die is often the highlight of the day or week. And I have loved Home Depot for decades.

Huge shout out to Eric in Lumber who helped me with a DIY floral frame when the Somersworth store didn't have anyone experienced working in the department. His expertise truly made my life easier to only have to stop in the store once and get the job done right the first time. 👍🏼

Wow, I worked for Depot for 9 years before they started firing all senior workers and turning into walmrt orange. Im a vet an i usually shop at lowes due to lower prices an everyday 10 % off for vets not just twice a year. Today i HAD to come back due to lowes not having much of inventory of furnace parts, Depot had almost everything i needed. I had to be careful due to careless placement of products on shelf, read the item not the price stickers, but once i spent some time rearranging the shelf, your welcome, they had 80% of the items i needed. The nozzles were the worst of misplacement! Either trying to hide what they are out of or people cant read numbers and gaskets selection was all but none. Paid 20 % more but had most of what i needed. Now have to go to local plumbing store an pay 40% more to finish the job.

I delta with a lovely lady named Sharon at the front end. Very smart and kind.

They have everything you need for all your DIY projects, a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They always take the time to say hello to the dog and give her a treat too! This location can be tricky to get to your first time and could use better signage, but for the most part not too bad to navigate.

Bought flooring for grandsons room . we looked at 5 or 6 different items . the lady that works in flooring followed us around telling us exactly what it would cost and how much I had to buy .extremely helpful. She even found the perfect match for us. Thanks

We needed to buy a lot of stuff to clean up ahead of our move and this Home Depot has a lot of heavy duty cleaning supplies. We also got a new mop and broom to take to our new place. The staff is helpful and I don't feel like I have to run all over the place just to find someone.

Very clean. Friendly staff. Main aisle up front seemed a bit crowded with merchandise and was difficult to navigate causing backups at checkout areas.

One of the larger Home Depot stores I have been too. The had a lot of different products and most thing's were in stock. The store was not crowded at all and the isles seemed to be spaced out a bit more then other store's.

I was surprised to see the selection of clearance items, a few appliances and some light fixtures but minimal tools on clearance.

There was an electric Bosch 30" oven only on sale at 50% off which is a steal but I passed as I don't have an immediate use for it.
