Very good experience overall.
The service was slow, and it was extremely noisy, but that could be attributed to the fact that it was an overcrowded night. The crowd after the Christmas tree lighting ceremony and parade settled in there partially.
We had a sampler of IPAs and liked them all. I also had 2 different stouts, and really enjoyed them.
My streak tips were incredibly delicious and perfected to medium rare.
We also had a burger with gorgonzola cheese, which was perfect.
Or son had an impossible burger, pretty good

I had the Impossible Bahn-Mi burger and thought it was very good. Ordered it without Jalapenos though since I can't handle spice well. Went in to catch a US Open game and both the service and environment was lively in a positive way.

By far, the biggest local craft beer selection of any of our New England stops. The beer menu is a bit overwhelming, in a good way. So much choice!

This place was great! My girl and I stopped in to have lunch and it was a great experience. She had the tips & tender meal, and I had the burger with egg, bacon and cheese and some special sauce. Both meals were perfectly cooked, well plated and presented. The value is great.... good amount of food for a good price, and Jordan our server was awesome. She was attentive but not intrusive. They also offer beer flights, which I was very happy to find. The 100 beers on tap really makes this place a real gem to visit. Really great atmosphere for a date.

Came back, glad we did. Service was excellent.

We were seated right away, party of 5. Our server gave us our drink order right away. However we waited a long time for our apps and then food. Our waitress didn't check in on use. Food was delivered by a runner. Our drinks were empty for quite awhile. Food was good. Great place to watch Celtics.

Had a great meal. Service was great. They brought out the wrong appetizer at first but it was quickly recognized and fixed. Enjoyed my time there and will go back.

Took over a hour 1 get our appetizer was out of 5 beers we wanted, we spent 3 hours here for a 1 hour planning, nice place, good music and tvs food was little better than ok, just don't like to leave a terrible rating,

Great place to have a few beers with friends or loved ones. They have a big selection to choose from and the food is top notch. I had a few of their appetizers (Poutine Fries, Spinach Artichoke Dip, and Roasted Brussel Sprouts) that paired well with the different beers that I tried.

Tons of beers to choose from! For as busy as it was, the food came out quickly and was delicious. The service was excellent and staff was very friendly. Would definitely recommend!!

Stopped at the Thirsty Moose for a snack and a beverage. The menu has a nice assortment of foods ranging from snacks, burgers, nachos, steak tips and Prime rib on the weekend. There are about 85 beverages on tap. The menu lists the selections assorted by style; IPA'S, Pilsners, Lagers, etc. A great place that we will visit again and try a few entrees which looked great!

This is one of the nicest bars I’ve been to! You’d never think this place is as big as it is from the outside in downtown Portsmouth. Once inside, it goes deep and is lined with TVs for the sports lovers. A huge bar, but we didn’t sit there. Awesome wooden top tables. Excellent service. The food was AMAZING! Portions were huge and the prices were incredible! Our table tried burgers, Mac n cheese, and chicken fingers, along with fries and waffle fries. None of us could finish our food. It was absolutely delicious. We should have come with a larger appetite! One dessert…the fried dough balls…served or whole table. We also had a one-year-old and they had high chairs and special cups for little ones. If we lived closer, it would definitely be a favorite place!

Food was excellent, service was excellent. Server came by periodically to check on our group which was very appreciative.

We loved our visit here. Our server, Lilly, was exceptionally helpful and attentive. The staff changed channels on two TVs for us so we could watch two different football games. The food was delicious and well portioned. The beer selection is mind-blowing.

This was our first time trying this place even though we've lived in New Hampshire for some years and visited Portsmouth often-we were very impressed all-around. Super clean all throughout the bar, friendly staff, great selection of beers, and the food was very good. My husband tried the flight and loved everything he tried, and we got fish tacos and they were very delicious and well done (that's coming from former California natives okay). The music they were playing was a great mix of oldies and various genres, and the perfect level. They have specials we'd love to come back for-BOGO pizzas on Mondays, $10 beer and burger Tuesdays, and trivia Wednesdays!

Great place to grab a beer and pizza at. The atmosphere was homey and relaxed but still felt like a professional establishment. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food and beer selection were vast but refined, definitely a good quality place to refuel for the walking around Portsmouth. 10/10 would recommend!

Very big inside. Great for sports and great craft beer selection. Food was delicious. It's a great stop if in the area. Younger crowd.

Popped into here whilst doing a road trip and husband blown away by range of beers on offer ... he was in 7th heaven !! Bar man said they had 175 beers on tap ... wow !!

Food was very good. Would definitely come here again. Love the big screens to watch sports. The over music playing in the background was techno. It was loud and not very pleasant to listen to.

So much beer on tap!!! The Thirsty Moose has the most impressive beer selection around. The food is also really good; plenty of American pub style choices. And let's not forget to mention the incredible waitstaff! I highly recommend, and can't wait to go back!

The brick oven pizza here is delicious. The cheese has a lot of flavor, and the sauce is savory. The bottom has a slight amount of char, which gives you a good crunch. ($20 for a large cheese that was about 16 or 18 in) Great selection of any beers you could think.
