Quick service. Outdoor waterfront. Great food. An historical location thrown in too! Great combination. Husband said the BEST fried clams and fried scallops EVER. My broiled scallops were good. He wants to make this our regular stop on our way up to Maine now.

We were so impressed with the food. The lobster bisque was great, though it was very creamy and the lobster chunks were really big, I would have preferred them a bit smaller so I got a little in every bite. I got the tuna sandwich and asked for the chipotle aioli which was so good with it. We also got the fried scallops which were cooked perfectly. Both were a very decent sized portion for the price, and the atmosphere by the water was lovely.

A friend and I had an excellent meal here after The Portsmouth Pride activities. It was very busy, but we were able to get right in and seated on the deck overlooking the water. I ordered the broiled scallops and my friend ordered the fried clams. The food was tasty. The staff was also very nice, upbeat, and friendly. I am very glad to have had the opportunity to stop here.

I totally recommend this place!

As a tourist I didn't felt like one at this restaurant. It was just the perfect place to enjoy a lobster and a very unique clam chowder. We ordered
A lobster feast that came with corn on the cob, like 20 mussels, and a big lobster this was so easy to eat and so tender. and a side of melted butter. Also ordered a clam chowder bowl. This chowder had bacon in it it was an unexpected delicious flavor.
Jimmy drink.
All that and athe amazing view for $71 WITH tip.

This place is always great!! Had a large plate of fried scallops and they were perfect. I did start woth a beer, from their full bar, and a clam chowder. My table was overlooking the water.

One of the awesome seafood restaurants on the water. Good views. Short wait (15 minutes) for 2 on a Friday night in the summer.

Waitstaff was very friendly and the food came out quick. Thick clam chowder was yum. Highlight was the stuffed baked haddock. Very rich and flavorful. Entree, soup, and a soda were about $50.

Nice outdoor dining with a view of the port. Lobster bisque soup was good but tasted very like tomatoes. New England chowder was absolutely delicious. And mixed seafood was yummy as well. Overall it was good place to eat I would come back.

Their fried foods are good, portions are large, service is pretty good. The food is also fresh.

I recommend the fried Haddock, but stay away from the broiled one.

We were sat quickly on a Sunday afternoon. The food was delicious and fresh. We had a nice view of the port while sitting on the patio.

Classic New England experience overlooking the port. Seating inside, on porch, or at bar. Seafood portions were large (I struggled to finish the combo platter) and succulent. Friendly servers.

It's a very nice small restaurant with great water view, nice breeze for early evening dinner or drink with friendly service and great food. It's our first time but we love the experience. Limited choice for lobster dishes, nonetheless we had a great time. Thank you for taking good care of us 🥂👌

First time visiting and absolutley loved being so close to the water. The interior is a little worn down it seems, but I feel it helps it's New England charm. I got the "New Englander" and thought it was delicious. The clam chowder was excellent and the lobster roll was one of the best I've had.

Absolutely amazing food. I got the Tall Ship lobster roll and seafood chowder. Their seafood chowder is the best around. If you want award winning best chowder in the state head to Old Ferry Landing. Their patio offers awesome views of the river to watch boats sail by while you eat.
