We selected Moxy for the Portsmouth restaurant week. Our table samples diverse offerings (except for the 4th course).

Of the courses, the barramundi was a stand out, both beautiful and delicious, a wonderfully balanced spring plate.

The service was attentive and prompt. We were not rushed and had time to complete each course before the next was brought out.

I would love to return to sample the regular menu.

Made a reservation for my birthday after debating on a few places and I'm so happy we landed here! Our waitress was lovely and the food was delicious. Got the fried dough for dessert and I'd highly recommend 😋

Had a Fantastic Birthday dinner with close friends, Brandon the Chef came over to the table to say Hello! Great table overlooking the bar! Drinks were wonderful, food exquisite!! So much to try!!
Cannot wait to return!

Delightful restaurant in the historic district in Portsmouth! Very friendly, super attentive service! Zoe excellent wait person! American tapas; small bites meant to share. Fab beef sliders 🍔 and super good and authentic Italian sausage mini sandwiches. Loved the crispy Brussel sprouts cooked in the style of Carciofi alla Roma! Both the mini Whoopie pies and cinnamon beignets were fab!! Great place with super convenient location. Parking is expensive in the whole area but plentiful. Great and super fun dinner!!!

Found this place by chance. Food, service, atmosphere was all incredible. My favourite dish was the cauliflower but they were all superb. Love tapas as get to try many different dishes. Had about 6 between 2 of us and that was plenty. Hope to return!

Had dinner with friends before a jazz show. We tried a little of just about everything on the menu. Small plates were delicious. Our server was attentive and very friendly. Cool vibe.

First time here and would definitely recommend! Very cool atmosphere and delicious, interesting food. It's a tapas style, so smaller plates for sharing, but everything was very good. Try the cornbread. Mussels were exquisite. Loved the french press coffee with desert. Will definitely be back.

Went for dinner during restaurant week. Had a great 5 course meal, each dish was delicious in its own way. Great service and they were able to answer our questions about the wines.
One of my favorite spots in Portsmouth that is both casual and relaxed, but also delicious and quality food.

This place was so much fun. We had several of their plates to share and everything came out amazing! Drinks, food, service — everything was fantastic. Katie was a really fun server, too!

Unexpectedly good. My husband does not like sharing so tapas places are generally not on the list. Love how they broke down the menu. Our waitress made great recommendations. Everything was delicious but standouts were fried cauliflower (we were so surprised by how much we loved this) and the crispy pork belly. Also had fried pickles, short rib toasts, and a special of Swiss chard and churros. Any where inside is a great seat but I would avoid outside. We will definitely be back.

I think I have a new favorite restaurant in Portsmouth! I can’t believe I have never been here before. Ate at the bar, and Jessie was great. Excellent cocktails and she was very friendly to everyone. Had the crispy pork belly which was great and the pan seared chicken thighs which were incredible! Crispy, boneless with 2 sauces, one which was blue cheese. Comes with bib lettuce to make wrap. Has crispy onions and sliced ginger. Really an amazing dinner. I plan on coming back tomorrow for the short rib marmalade and the chicken thighs. It was really that good!

What an amazing restaurant. Food was tops, service was fantastic, and the atmosphere amazing! Our server Angela, was awesome. My wife has a severe shellfish allergy and we're both gluten free. The chef personally edited the menu (with a sharpie 😂) to inform us of our menu item options! No restaurant has ever put in that kind of effort for us before and we eat out A LOT! If you're in Portsmouth, don't pass this place up, but you will most definitely need to make a reservation. Even the bar was standing room only.

I took my girlfriend to Moxy for her birthday because it’s her favorite and she loved it. All of their sauces are perfect, and they have a great menu for vegetarians. And order the patatas and/or the brussel sprouts because they’re delicious.
We were there St Patrick’s Day evening and I booked reservations well in advance. It was busy but service was fast and food was delicious. So happy the food was as good as she remembered it to be.

Moxy has a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere, but the food and drinks are incredibly well made. We were blown away by the creative cocktails. The small plates were perfect for sharing and sampling through a few dishes in one meal.

This is an amazing restaurant! The portions are fairly small, and the whole idea is to share everything you order with the other people at your table. We did not take any photos, unfortunately, because we were too busy stuffing our faces! The short ribs and pan seared salmon were especially tasty. We liked the brussels sprouts appetizer so much that we ordered a second one!

Wonderful food and atmosphere. Moxy is a hidden gem, this several time James Beard Award nominated restaurant is tucked away for the main strip of downtown but worth venturing to find!

The Crispy Pork Belly tickled the tongue and my personal favorite was the beets. Focused on small plates to share you'll want to bring friends to try everything on the menu.

This was truly a delightful date night with amazing food and delicious cocktails. Plan ahead and make a reservation as seating is limited and there wasn't an open table in the house. After visiting though it's clear why.

First time in a tapas restaurant so we had a learning curve. Food was all very good and the atmosphere was comfortable and cozy. Get the whoopie pies for dessert!!

Great experience. Went for drinks and small bites and everything was really good. Ordered off menu for my cocktail and Wyatt was happy to look it up and make it. Had the duck fritters and they were amazing. Highly recommend.

Unique eats and friendly service! So many places do patatas bravas the wrong way, but not here. They were fresh and delicious. The beef short rib marmalade was bursting with different flavors. The restaurant was pretty busy... however the bartender was very attentive and friendly. Great atmosphere too!

Really enjoyed it here. Would be a great date spot. The vibes were immaculate! Will definitely be back!
