Point of Graves Burial Ground

This cemetery is a true hidden gem. It has to be one of the oldest cemeteries in the country. The oldest legible grave goes back to 1682, and there’s plenty of other graves from the 17th century. There’s very few cemeteries where you can find such old graves with legible stones. I’d totally recommend checking out this cemetery.

Super cool old cemetery! If you love cemeteries and cemetery history like I do, or just want to see some old, historical graves, this is a great, brief little stop! There’s a placard explaining some of the older, more artistic graves. Some of the graves are from as early as the late 1600s, with many from the 1700s. This is a cool little stop- the cemetery is small, so there’s not a ton to see, but it’s definitely interesting! My biggest complaint is that it’s rather difficult to access if you have any mobility devices or aren’t able-bodied, but I suppose that’s to be expected with the age of it.

This is a neat, old cemetery with some pretty interesting headstones.

Wanted some old gravestones, got some old gravestones. Lots of great designs and epitaphs. Loved it!

Pretty fabulous colonial cemetary with period gravestones- skull & crossbone angels

This is a very old burial site and it's amazing to see the old headstones however I wish they were better taken care of. These graves are very old but a lot of the heaves stones that we saw were covered in bird poop which was kind of sad to see.
