The Barley Tap and Tavern

Favorite bar I visited while in Steamboat. Great selection of very high quality beers, both local and not, but all very good - you can tell whoever owns this really likes their beer. Also serve wines, spirits, and light bites. Ordered a few sours (crooked stave and Russian River brewing) and IPAs (weldwerks) and all were fantastic. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you like quality beer

Best beer bar in Steamboat Springs! The new owner (late 2017) is doing a great job improving a bar that we already enjoyed. Of the 30 taps - 25ish are from Colorado

A great little bar in Steamboat Springs that has loads of Colorado beers and outdoor seating that is pet friendly! The bartender is a great guy who will make sure you're taken care of with their wide variety of beers and great cocktail options!

This place is awesome. 30 craft brews on tap, absolutely AMAZING cocktails (try the Lavender Fields - they make the lavender syrup in-house, and the Old Fashioned is classic and high quality), and a really cool atmosphere. When I went, the owner was bartending and he was really nice, not impatient or pretentious (despite being indecisive, slow, uninformed tourists). I will be back to this place!

The bartender was super friendly and helpful in selecting the right brew. Happy hour goes late compared to others around (8pm as of this post), and there's a stupendous selection of Colorado beers.

Love the atmosphere. Beer selection is large. Pretty comfy seating and peaceful. Recommend for anyone who likes an upscale coffee house type feel.

One of many cool little spots to come grab a drink I like the decorations they had with the Hops also had some clothing and stuff to buy.

As a tourist from Houston I am happy to leave this bar a 5-star review. The bartender Dan, was great with his beer recommendations and awesome service. I couldn't have asked for a better afternoon of drinking beers and hanging out.

Cool place- lots of games inside and a good setup. Our bartender was wonderful. The drinks were pricey, but what isn’t now?

Fun spot! Good beer selection, friendly staff, and giant Jenga!

The jam cocktails are the bomb ! We end up trying the Blueberry Gin, Strawberry Rubarb and Peach. All delicious and not overly sweet .

Great place to have a drink.. or two. Staff is great, courteous and very friendly. Inside and outside seating is available. Location is great too in my opinion, it is tugged in below a shopping center, but I think that is what makes it unique. Very cozy, great to carry on conversations. I was visiting from Aurora CO, and i think we definitely need something like this in town.

The Barley always has a phenomenal beer selection on draft (not just for mountain town standards, but they carry more beers than some of the best taprooms you would find in any city!). There's a reason locals love this spot.

The owner and all of the staff are knowledgeable, kind, and create a fun atmosphere. This place is the spot for a beer or cocktail in Steamboat, whether it's late afternoon, apres, happy hour, or late night - it's always a good time to check out The Barley.

I rarely write reviews, but this place deserves one! The beer selection is phenomenal and the staff is very cool and friendly. The Barley Tap and Tavern offers awesome vibes and is a great location for a beer after a day of skiing! Definitely recommend!
