A group of 8 of us stumbled upon this restaurant on a random Tuesday night. What ensued was a delicious cavalcade of small plates that were both unexpected and delightful! Highly recommend, especially if you enjoy trying multiple plates.

Once again, The Meat Bar did not disappoint; it has gracefully served as my go-to destination not just for casual appetizers but for memorable gatherings as well. Whether it’s a casual visit or a grand celebration, this place has a way of weaving warm and welcoming vibes into each event.

Today, I found myself back at their doorstep, this time to gather appetizers for a party. Their offerings, as always, were fresh and ready to grace our occasion with flavors that are nothing short of a celebration in themselves. Each bite carries a richness of taste and a quality that speaks volumes about the care put into the preparation.

Excitingly, I heard that they have extended their hospitality further, now opening their doors for dinner from 4 to 9 pm. It’s a delightful addition, promising evenings filled with enticing aromas and a dining experience that invites you to linger a little longer, cherishing both the food and the moment.

To anyone reading this, I highly recommend giving The Meat Bar a visit. It’s not just about the food, but the atmosphere that comes with it - a place that respects the culinary arts and celebrates community, wrapped in a warm and inviting embrace.

A place where every visit feels like coming home to a delightful feast prepared with heart and soul.

We were recommended this place by a family friend, and are so thankful we had time to eat lunch!

The food was incredible, and they have so much more than just meats and cheese. We got to sample the dry aged meats, eat some amazing sandwiches, and regret that we couldn’t come back for dinner where they have even more.

The service was even better than the food. They were so kind, and answered all the questions we had about the dry aged meat, and how it all works.

Highly, highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Steamboat!

Such a great treat in Steamboat! The bread board and charcuterie for 2 were sizeable portions (enough for my BF post bike ride) and had a fun variety of items to try. The waygu was sliced to order and delicious, nom nom nom!

We also had the summer special of zucchini with ragu and fresh ricotta which was insanely light and flavorful for such normally heavy ingredients. Loved it but was too small a portion for +$25. Otherwise everything was 100/100.

What a GREAT recommendation! LtB's Meatbar is not a place we would be inclined to patronize on our own; thank GOD someone was watching out for the idiots and gave us the heads-up about this place. (Thank you, GM [?] @ Salt and Lime [review forthcoming, another fantastic meal]!)
We had a very enjoyable time grazing on our meat and cheese board and small-plate bread and butter. If I'd have gotten it together, and made this a more timely review, I'd be able to share more specifically what meats and cheeses we tried. Whatever they were they were fantastic. (Bonus: I could BOLO for it more locally.) I digress...
It was a great setting, as though sitting in an upper scale warm and inviting deli snacking (on delicious food!) while watching others come in for their deli "groceries" and lunches.
Employees were welcoming and helpful to the rookies, and it was enjoyable to observe the care in which non-counter employees packaged what was perceivably catering orders.
Cannot recommend patronizing this place enough!

Best charcuterie birthday cake! Charcuterie is my passion! Highly recommend the barley chocolate, chocolate figs, chorizo “roses” lol and edible flower crackers!!

Added a few of my personal boards! I haven’t made one in about a year. It’s time!! Meatbar 5⭐, great customer service, friendly, personable! Colette was wonderful my husband said. I need to come in and say hello!! Truly made my day!!

Meatbar is a great food experience! We liked it so much we went back the next night. The Jamon Iberico de Bellota is excellent and an authentic Spanish delicacy! The vermouth spritzers were flavorful with a nice mild bitterness akin to an Aperol Spritz but different. The Gilda skewers and smoked fish plate were bursting with flavors. Can’t wait to go back!!

The owners are genuine and kind people, I really appreciate how they treat customers. I got their charcuterie board for 2 and it was absolutely delicious. The chocolate was amazing, the roasted nuts were spectacular, and the vegetables and cheeses were top tier. Highly recommend trying them out.

The Meat Bar is my new favorite place in Steamboat. The vibe is great, the food is really great and a great selection of beverages. The service is top notch!

Beautifully curated menu, great atmosphere and many unique items not often found in northwest Colorado. Laura and her staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. A must visit if you are in Steamboat Springs.

Beautiful! This is the small board- was a birthday present that the family loved. The house smoked assorted nuts were outstanding. Everything fresh and something for everyone.

Laura is so knowledgeable and friendly. She personalized each course and shared the details of each selection. Definitely purchase a chocolate bar or two for either dessert or for the road. We enjoyed our time here - thank you so much!

This was by far the best pork belly sandwich I have ever had the privilege to eat. The combination of flavors were perfect.

Even as a vegetarian, Meatbar was a delight. My husband does eat meat, and between the two of us we had 4 dishes. Everything we tried was perfection. Meatbar’s new dinner service is a must!

What a nice addition to Steamboat Main Street! Laura recommended a made-to-order sandwich based on my preferences, and it was amazing. I stopped in after being inspired by the incredible charcuterie boards at my work events (they are works of art!). Great vibe, delicious food, wonderful snacks and treats organized by region/country. Highly recommend!
