Ocean Dragon Chinese & Sushi Restaurant

The food here is excellent. Ordered online and arrived a few minutes early. Place was packed and orders lined up-ours was ready when promised. Family owned and super friendly people. The craziest most unexpected part - absolutely amazing Chinese food in Steamboat!!

What a great little restaurant! I was craving Phad Thai and this was the only place in town with some on the menu so we decided to check it out! We came around 1pm on a Thursday. Got seated immediately. Got our orders immediately. My oldest got chicken fried rice and said it was phenomenal. He also got some sort of tea that he said was “soooo good”. I got the scallop phad thai and some crab cheese wontons and it was all amazing. My husband got the spicy sushi combo and said it was good too. Every dish was got taste great, looked great, and was delivered to our table super fast! Great experience!

I love it here, good quality classic (american) Chinese place. Great service, delicious food and absolutely the best prices in town. Try the "jalapeno poppers", they are breaded, fried, sliced sushi style and drizzled with yummy sauce.

Workers are chinese and cooking up straight HEAT. We ordered 5 different meals (orange shrimp, beef teriyaki, 2 different sushi rolls & chicken lomein), and all 5 of them were absolutely amazing! No one had any complaints about their meals and everyone ate absolutely everything. We will definitely be back!

If you want atmosphere rhis may not be for you. However if you want great food this is your place.

Food may come out at times that you dont expect. But the food comes out hot and fast.

GREAT TO HAVE CLASSIC AMERICAN CHINESE FOOD again here in town. This location has been multiple asian food establishments over the last 10 years.
Ocean Dragon is the best asian I have had in this location. Amazing chinese, and delicious sushi. Probably the BEST Crab Wontons we have ever had. General Tsao chicken was classic.
Environment is a classic Chinese food mecca, with chill ambience and the smell of whatever has been served lately.
We will definitely be back!

Got the orange chicken lunch special which was delicious and huge portions with soup and an egg roll. Great prices, which is RARE in this town, and great service.

Amazing egg drop soup (no tofu), incredible egg rolls, and fantastic chow mein. Although, we would’ve loved a bit more chicken in the chow mein since it felt like a very small portion compared to the over abundance of veggies in the dish. That said, the savory flavors of each component of the dish were on point. Everything was phenomenal; from taste to texture, they managed to get every single aspect right. We absolutely loved our takeout from here, and the prices are reasonable, too! When picking up the order, I noticed how wonderfully cozy and welcoming the inside of the restaurant was as well - I cannot say enough good things. I’d easily recommend this dining experience to anyone who’s in dire need of impeccable Chinese food in the area!

Went here for dinner and it turned out to be very good. The dumplings were the best part in my opinion. Had some good food and the time that we spent was rather nice.

I understand this restaurant was bought out. We ate there a few months ago and spent $120 on a lot of food for the whole family. It was really good and everyone liked it. Everything was hot and delicious even though we had take out. Service was great and food was better. Highly recommend.

We are Texans on vacation, desperately craving Chinese delivery. Since we were outside the delivery radius we took a chance and drove through snow to get pickup at the Ocean Dragon, formerly known as Sambi Canton. This food was SO worth the drive. I had Kung Pao chicken/beef and my husband had the chicken fried rice. We split an Ocean Dragon roll. Each of these items was freshly made, very flavorful and not greasy at all like Chinese takeout can sometimes be. The ingredients are high quality. This would be our regular place if we lived here!

Hard working team - great food and incredible service. Only place in town that makes moo shu. If looking for delivery - only use grub hub. Not Uber Eats.

I am so happy to find such a nice restaurant in town with a variety of Asian dishes. I tried the unagi don and fried chicken wings today all taste really good. Price is decent especially with the happy hour discount. They have really friendly staffs too! Will come back again.

We have had nothing but great experiences since the new ownership! The sizzling plates are especially excellent and the server is always extremely friendly! Great portions and good quality.
