Great old school breakfast and lunch spot. Reasonable prices, quality food, good portions, and very friendly staff.

We ate here on the last day of our trip for breakfast. It was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Like everywhere in Steamboat, it's a smaller, more intimate restaurant, so expect to wait. But breakfast is definitely worth it.

I only have positive things to say about our experience at The Shack Café. The service was friendly and warm and the food was well portioned, tasty, and served timely! Would highly recommend!

Ok the staff is patient and kind with the kiddos. Pancakes are fluffy and perfect. Mickey mouse pancakes delighted the kiddos. I had a fantastic Philly with Swiss and the fries oh the fluffy crispy amazing french fries. I could eat a plate of those alone. Biscuits and gravy should also not be missed. I don't think you could go wrong with anything here! Great food great service!

Great option for breakfast in Steamboat! This place is small so you may need to wait a few to get seated but the food is spot on once you get a spot! Eggs Benedict and Mac’s omelet were tasty and filling

Fantastic portions, great customer service, great food, speed of light food turn around time. Jacqueline was a great waitress with all of the patience and kindness. Brodo was kind, sat us immediately and took our drink orders. 10/10 would recommend to anyone at steamboat who wants a good hearty breakfast and a cozy atmosphere.

Service was super quick and attentive, had my breakfast in front of me within minutes of sitting down. Biscuits and gravy was tasty, too. Nice affordable place in a mountain town.

THE best service in Steamboat for breakfast. Our server was out of this world kind, fun, and attentive. Food was delicious. A smaller diner, but we did not have a wait.

One of the best meals we have had in Colorado and the prices were great. Friendly and quick service. We had breakfast meals and they were all great. REAL Sausage patties were a nice touch.

Advertized as an awesome breakfast place with the best pancakes in town. I am a fan of pancakes and they were some of the best I've had. Everythig we had was excellent and the service was great. Fun fact: It's the oldest continously operating restaurant in Steamboat.

Great food, prices, and they keep people moving so you don't have to wait long. We almost went next door to try something new until we saw the difference in prices for a simple hamburger. We keep going back. It's delicious and reasonable in prices, service, and expectations as a business in a resort town. Thank you for not taking advantage and doing good business.
