Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - rice comes with the curries which we were very happy with. Wish there was a bit more rice as the curries were super filled to the top of the container

Cream Chicken (Speciality) - does contain bones. Very creamy and tender without getting dry as some do if cooked too long.

Mutton Rara was absolutely delicious with strong spice flavoring and the mutton was so soft and tender as well. Does contain bone as well, so don't eat it too fast!

Garlic Naan was good but compared to the curries, very bland in taste. It worked wonderfully to absorb the curry though!

Ambience: N/A - ordered food to go. Only six tables but very high ceilings so it feels roomy. Smells wonderfully of food and incense but quite warm with the door open (heat wave). Yellow cathode tubes for lighting with no cover

Service: 5/5 - super friendly and able to make a few recommendations for us to try. Took the time to explain how different dishes are made and which one to order based on your preference

Value for price: 5/5 - very simple shop from the first glance but with such a friendly worker and delicious food, would highly recommend!

I loveeee this place! Amazing food with great customer service! I ordered from their own website, it had free delivery within 5 miles and the guy even gave me free scarf from India!! 🫶🏼🥰

Wonderful place! Very clean! I met the owner and his wife! Very friendly people. AMAZING food! I highly reccomend the creamy chicken dish! It was delightful and i have never had anything like it before! The veggie pakora was freshly made, the tamrind and mint chutney were some of the best I have had. The butter chicken was the perfect amount of spicy. What a great place to add to the Lake City community!

The food is delicious and portions are pretty large and fulfilling. Chawlas’s chicken-malai-tikka is soooo good! Make sure to try Naan with Cream chicken and Dal makhni. MUST THING- Gulab Jamun 🤤😋

Cream chicken was great but you have to have a taste for it… its not like your regular butter chicken…. It did tasted like how it did back home… Cheese Tomato was really good makes me feel I can try more stuff from the menu. They do have a huge menu!!!

I lived in England for 2 years where the national dish is chicken tikka masala (you read that right) and this was THE BEST tikka masala I have ever had. The rice was perfect and the garlic naan was insanely good too. Also the owner was incredibly nice and gave me a scarf. This place rules.

Enjoyed their signature Cream Chicken dish as takeout. Was given helpful “insider” information that one can save $ by ordering direct from the business. Also was given a suggestion to try the chicken curry dish next time.

Sooo flavorful! The best tadka dahl I've ever had! I could really taste the fresh whole spices (vs. Powders). I ordered on uber eats so can't speak to ambiance or service but my order came quickly and I'll make this my new "go to" indian restaurant in Seattle! Great vegetarian options!

I dined in and had their famous cream chicken with chai, rice, and garlic naan. Delicious! It was not chili spicy but chai spicy so great if you are looking for a different type of spicy. The owner and wait staff were kind and the service was fast and efficient.

I like it, a great taste of India Indian fast food and I am proud that Lake City Seattle has the second branch of this franchise after Queens New York.

Place is on Lake City Way on the 372 bus, a direct route between UW and UW Bothell.

The staff here are very very very friendly! I am so glad that I tried this place today, I enjoyed my milk tea it was great including the boba. The popcorn chicken on the other hand was something different than I really tried before, the outside had a hint of Taiwanese spice just like any other place however the inside was very meaty and not too fatty. I Will come back here!

The elderly gentleman here is very hospitable, although it’s expensive. I loved the way I was approached. I would recommend anyone to visit this place.

Back in india my hometown “chawlas2” was my go to place as it was in same sector where I used to live. Seeing chawlas opening here in Seattle excited me so much that I had to visit today. After going there the first thing I asked was is it the same “CHAWLAS2” from Punjab and yes it was.. I ordered “Amritsari fish” which I was craving from a long long time and we also ordered “kadai panner” “sweet lassi” “chana samosa” and it turned out to be same taste as back in india…after eating all cravings were satisfied and I was so so happy… I just got a chance to relive same chawlas taste in Seattle… can’t express my feeling such a happy day !! Superb quality and superb taste ❤

Amazing food!! We had thali with two dishes - saag and daal makhani with garlic naan and rice. One order of cheese tomato butter curry. EVERYTHING was amazing! I would give 10/10 for food and service. A must try!! Couldn’t take pictures because food was irresistible!

Good food, great butter chicken. Ofcourse the signature creamy chicken is great too. Overall nice North Indian food including the vegetarian options. Do pay a visit when crazy hungry, you won’t be disappointed. Accidentally discovered this place and so glad!

I went here for first time and food i ordered was really amazing daal makhni was old school. Really nice place good staff will surely come again for the next time.

The food was so tasty and fresh. I ordered a takeout and loved the butter chicken. The garlic naan were so soft. I had never had this kind of butter chicken before and it was my first time trying at this restaurant and enjoyed their food. I will sure return to try other dishes.

My first time at Chawla's 2 (squared as I was told) was a total hit. I am in love with the Paneer Tikka Masala. My family had other delicious dishes. My education was why the dishes were not colored like other Indian restaurants (no food coloring) and that the dishes will have more taste because they do not add sugar like other Indian restaurants. The nice man there explained that the franchise comes from India where they are large and they use the same traditional recipes and ingredients as they do in India. The spice was excellent as a result. No sweetening of the dish. I usually don't like things too spicy but it wa so well done I loved the spicing. They definitely could use a little lower and better lighting then the fluorescents to make eating in more inviting but we did take out. I highly recommend this Lake City place.
