La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Winston-Salem

Conveniently located, across from Village Tavern where you get 10% off food if you show hotel room card & less than 10 min from Hanes Mall. Chris in housekeeping gave us exceptional service. The room was spacious and perfect place to celebrate our anniversary.

Its a good location. Dog walk outside. They have breakfast and are walking distance from many restaraunts. Free Wi-Fi. Staff was courteous and had my reservation ready.

I had a wonderful stay during the four days we were in town for our Regional Convention of Jehovah's Witnesses Exercise Patience!
From setting up our reservations, to check in, to check out the staff was helpful and friendly. I am oxygen dependent and the cleanliness of the room was very important. Our room was spotless and the staff even helped my son load my oxygen tanks in his car.
Thank you, doesn't seem like enough. I definitely recommend! If our convention is held in Winston Salem next year, I hope to see them all again and share more big hugs!!!!

I would have to say staying here was the best decision I ever made.... I was going through something and had to stay here for a night or two til things died down... And I really want to say, if things ever went south again I would definitely go here. Julie who was the front desk clerk she assisted me really well she asked was my stay good and everything. I really have to give props to the people who helped me at breakfast though cause even at breakfast it was amazingly comforting. I didn't get that lady's name but however she helped me and my daughter since we had a small baby. She was amazing! This hotel and my stay deserves a 5 star not a 3.9

Just finished a 4 day weekend stay. Room was super clean, every employee I spoke too was nice and helpful. The building may look old but the inside is new as is the experience.

We were in Winston-Salem for a Billy Springs concert and are glad we decided to stay here.

The staff at this La Quinta were exceptional. The manager Donna could not have been more accommodating and friendly.

Zeeshanna at the front desk was a delight.

The rooms were clean, there are 2 good restaurants in the parking lot and a decent continental breakfast in the AM.

Good value. Highly recommended.

Was our stay perfect 100%? No, but Camila(?) Made our stay perfect after our initial room had a TV not working. I am never a hard person to please put i came down to the front desk with an attitude. After her and I having our words we went up to the room and talked and listened to reach other up to the 5th floor. She could not fix the TV but she tried and she was working hard to please us. We went to eat and she said when we return we will have a new room. So much more but both rooms were very clean, soft beds that my wife loved and we will stay again thank you for the hard work to please us

Rooms could use a little update, but Shantay was the shining star for this place. She was there for check in that night and it went smoothly. She was back at it early in the morning with breakfast, running both the counter and making sure items were staying filled for breakfast. Thank you so much for a very nice stay! Shantay is a super star!

I never really now how to rate places like this and I think I owe you, dear reader, an explanation. The 5 star rating I give takes into account the price. For the price of $80-ish a night, it's a great place. The Hampton Inn I used to stay out down the street was one of my favorites but I travel a lot for work (my own business) and the price just got too high. So I went shopping and found this place.

I read some of the recent reviews and thought "At least it'll be an adventure!" I did not have great expectations and the place turned out to be just fine. The hotel is physically old. Corners are dinged, bathtub has a rust ring and the cleaning crew could have done a better job getting the room ready. Nothing catastrophic or disgusting going on here, just an old space. The room itself is nice and the furnishings are in good shape. The breakfast area needs new tables but they work and it's clean. The door locks have all been upgraded and you can see the paint line where the old one's used to be. Old, nothing terrible. The place needs some TLC and $$$$ and for the price it's a good option. I stay in a lot of hotels and this one isn't nearly as bad as some of the reviews led me to believe.

The staff is super friendly and that counts for a lot in my opinion. The best part of the whole experience is that this hotel is right next door to the Village Tavern. That's my favorite spot to eat when I'm staying by Hanes Mall and I didn't even realize it's proximity until I pulled up.

Clean enough and reasonable price for the season and area. Building is luxury. Staff is very friendly and professional 👌. Breakfast was yogurt apples and starch but complimentary and coffee was good and fresh. l would recommend everyone to stay here whenever you visit.

Great customer service and the room was clean and everything that I tried worked. The tub drain stopper was broken and left in the room but that would only be a problem if you take baths instead of showers. The breakfast was basic with muffins and granola bars.

Friendly and competent staff. Despite the hotel being overbooked we were given a nice room. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast choices were minimal. Would recommend this hotel though.

For once, staying in a motel was a nice experience. The desk staff checked us in quickly and efficiently. Our room was sparkling clean and actually had places to sit apart from the bed. A quiet spot to rest after a day of moving our household and cleaning. Plenty of nearby restaurants, too!

Great staff! I felt at home there, especially since I could have my puppy with me! We lost our home the day we came there,and it helped us to have a place to stay while we figured out our plans moving forward.

I had a good experience at the La Quinta. They were very accommodating when we needed an early check in and had a room ready for us almost 3 hours before check-in. The rooms are decent. They aren't meticulously cleaned, but they aren't bad either. There were some eye makeup stains on the sheets and dirt on the bathroom floor. We brought are dog and they were very sweet to her.

Great stay here. Staff was efficient when we reported an issue on leak from bathroom above. We were given a new room very quick. Had no issue with breakfast selection, there are a lot to select, from waffle, buns, muffins, cereals; etc. Also there is a good restaurant nearby (walking distance). I would recommend to stay here, especially those who are just stopping over a night or 2.
