Ladies, Gentlemen, and children of all ages, Camel City BBQ is the perfect place for your catered gathering. My husband, Robert, and I warmly praise the Catering Manager, Tiffany Santos, for her professionalism and support throughout the entire planning process.The manager, Kenny, and our server, Hailey went “over the top” for our celebration on December 16th. They were very gracious, attentive, and accommodating. The tasty buffet was the perfect value, especially for the kids, both young and old alike, who worked off energy playing the exciting games.The entire evening was flawless. And most importantly, our family had a sensational blast!

Thanks again for a wonderful and memorable evening. We can't say enough about it, so we'll let our video and pictures speak for themselves.

The food was not bad for the cost but I've had better brisket elsewhere. The Bangbang Shrimp appetizer was good. My son loved the atmosphere and if course the arcade.

I don't know what to say except -- THIS PLACE IS AWESOME -- The food is delicious -- BBQ is not quite Lexington but still juicy and tender the ribs are literally fall of the bone -- and the BBQ chicken was also juciy and tender -- all sides are house made -- the potato salad if my choice -- hushpuppies are worthy of praise just a few more please-- after you eat you can enjoy their retro arcade and/or play a game of corn hole -- a must try in downtown Winston-Salem !!

Once an active factory building, Camel City sure puts the "factory factor" into their stellar BBQ. My brother, sis in law, and I made this our food stop on Mother's Day, and were rewarded with an upscale, but cozy industrial ambiance, delicious drinks, and even (until it filled up) our own private dining room. Our server Trish was very sweet and efficient, and was very personable.
We started off with the thick sliced fried pickles (awesome), then moved to a sea of Factory Brisket Plates with hush puppies, stellar red slaw, and brisket baked beans (beyond awesome). The food was served quickly; hot and delicious...the brisket was perfectly tender and juicy (my bro and I are from KC, so we're picky about our BBQ)!
Even better, we realized they have an arcade...complete with skeeball, air hockey, and lots of arcade games!!
Plenty of outdoor seating, and cornhole boards as well.
Words can't accurately describe it...GET THERE!!

This is probably one of the very few times I had a tough time with what meat I liked the most. The pictures do not do this plate of marvelous meat justice. The ribs came off the bone gently and packed with smokey goodness. The brisket was so good with some light bark that I chose it's leftovers over desert that evening. The pork was great as well but the true talent is in the brisket and ribs which is worth a 300 mile trip alone. Outside seating that's nice but the inside you have to experience to truly appreciate with video games at tables and all around. Amazing experience you have to try.

Really cool place to eat. The food was amazing! We got there around 4 on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't very crowded. We were quickly seated, the waitress was very nice and it wasn't long until we got our food. The mac and cheese is to die for!!! Very reasonably priced for the quality.

Amazing melt in your mouth Brisket and tender smokey pulled pork. This place has the most wonderful BBQ I have had in a while. The meat was not as fatty as I like but I am sure people really like that about the place. The cashier/order taker was nice and informative. She really knows her menu. The sides were delicious as well. The hushpuppies were delicious too. The potato salad was a little sweet but it really complimented the BBQ meats. I enjoyed playing Tetris and Contra at my table. The Sega was such a great blast from the past. I would return here weekly if I didn't live a couple hundred miles away.

This is an absolute gem of a place! The menu is extensive the food is great, and the prices are more than reasonable. Beautiful game room upstairs for the kids, TVs galore, and even Sega based games at the booths. The food was really amazing and it was more than either of us could finish.

Amazing BBQ at a reasonable price, this place hits the spot. The variety of meats cuts and sides can easily be broken down into 2-3 trips here.

The food was great, portions were adequate, and the vibe was casual. The meat smell filled the entire building, is a bbq lover’s heaven. Don’t skip out on desserts, they are also delicious and worth a try!

This is my boyfriends favorite spot and I see why ! The vibes are always amazing , we like to be waited on so we play video games at the table while we wait (every table has a tv and video games ) the food is always amazing ! They have THE BEST Mac and cheese and potato salad I’ve ever tried ! We always have leftovers ! If you like bbq definitely try this place . They also so validate parking !

Loved the food! Will definitely be back! Ordered two meals and a mimosa, my total was only $30. The food was ready very fast. We sat outside which had a good view of the city, but the inside atmosphere was pretty dope as well. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The only downside was they didn't clean up after the last customers, so I had to wipe down my table with my own wipes, and there were dirty napkins under the table. Kinda gross, but it was outside and hopefully the sun killed the germs, can never be to cautious.

Mannnnnnn listen. The food was absolutely amazing and the kids loved playing the games at the table. Such a unique touch! Staff was welcoming and knowledgeable. The parking situation and knowing where to go and what floor to go to was kind of confusing as a first timer but we got it figured out. I’ve already ran my mouth about how amazing they are to my friends & family! Make sure to get the pulled pork fries!!! Soooo good and the ranch is good too. Won’t give you a headache like some ranch brands.

First time visiting yesterday and was BLOWN AWAY! Some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. I got the pulled pork and turkey. My girlfriend got the brisket and chicken. Everything was amazing! The mac n cheese was great as was the sweet potato soufflé!! Loved the hush puppies too! Just overall a great meal! Kept me full all day! Will definitely be back!

Fantastic food and a great atmosphere. The staff was great and super attentive. The vibe was very relaxed and fun with tv, video games at the tables, and arcade games in the back. It is a walk from the parking lot to the front door so with someone who is handicap it can be a challenge. The margarita was TO DIE FOR! I could’ve had 5 more but they were like juice so they’re dangerous 🤣 they advertised the ribs as “fall off the bone tender” and well, they did not disappoint. If you like stove top Mac and cheese you would enjoy but it is clearly not baked. The greens have a lot of vinegar so if you don’t like those kind of greens, stay away from those. I’m not a big bbq sauce fan and I like glaze over a good dry rub, so I wish they would give that offer.

Right before we were leaving, my dad started getting overheated and the waitress was super helpful with getting him ice to cool down. We will definitely make the drive from Greensboro to see y’all again!

If you're wanting BBQ this is the spot. The prices are reasonable and the customer service is great. I have ate here many times and all the food is good. They also have some video games old school that is located in the back of restaurant.

Made sure to stop here on our way home from the beach and we are glad we did. The staff is very friendly and the food was perfect. Our kiddo loved the sweet potato casserole!

Greensboro needs a good BBQ restaurant like camel city! Great place to eat with family or friends.They have upstairs outside eating which I think I'll stay and dine in next time. Food was overall wonderful, especially the smoked meatloaf, different flavor than the average 😋👌🏽it would have been nice to have more than 3 hush puppies though 😜 I'll still be going back soon

HELLO!! If you are visiting downtown Winston whether it's by yourself, family, friends, a date, I recommend this hot spot! Their staff are amazing, punctual, always on top of their service, and super friendly. I've been here twice now and have not been disappointed. If you are dining in you go upstairs to order just an FYI. They have a nice size arcade, corn hole boards outside, and games at the tables. If you have small kids this is the place to go that they will be entertained while waiting on food. By far the best dish is the brisket sandwich. The sauce is amazing and definitely try the sweet potato fries WITH the sauce... you'll thank me later! There are several galleries and cool little spots close by, check them out!

The food is always hot and delicious. Staff is friendly and courteous. Went back 3/20/21, after a year away because of pandemic. The food is still delicious. Staff still the greatest. The restaurant is three stories, and a patio. They have a bar on the second floor, and an arcade on the third floor. Very kid friendly. Food is affordable, and they have a kids menu.

Best food we have had all vacation...and it's our last day. Great service and great atmosphere. Something on the menu and game room for everyone.
