Great food fun and the vibe is Awesome! The steaks are amazing especially paired with the grilled shrimp! Sides are very good options that go great with anything. Tons of dessert 🍰 options. Full bar with local draft beers included. We have no complaints. Family friendly. Service was amazing, our waitress Delanie was a jewel & management is checking on everything too. Everyone is happy to be here and ready to help in anyway. Great live music tonight!

My wife and I went here for lunch, and it was good. We were greeted and seated quickly. Faith, the waitress, was very professional and courteous. She also moved fast in getting us our food, drinks, and condiments. She came back consistently to refill our drinks and checked to see if we needed anything else. The food was great, and the environment was calm and relaxing. We were skeptical at first after some negative reviews, but we went to see for ourselves instead of listening to a bunch of "negative Nancy's." Me and my wife even laughed at some of the owner's replies to the negative comments. They were hilarious and correct. If we have a chance, we'll be back.

Attended with my mom to a high school reunion. The atmosphere was very comfortable. The staff was extremely polite. Food, especially the burger was delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here!

Great restaurant. Loved the prime rib and the crab dip.

The tomatoe basil soup is hands down the best I have had! The Larry's turkey sandwich is my go to! The fries are amazing and the Ruben is amazing too! There hasn't been anything off their lunch menu that I have tried and didn't like! Tried their supper one time and wasn't to impressed and it depends on the server you get some of them are a little slow.

Old fashioned made perfect with Knob Creek! Hubby’s pimento cheeseburger was amazing! Ahi Tuna perfect and Table Rock chicken was surprisingly delicious! No complaints for the food and our waitress, Courtney was adorable and helpful. Loved the whole experience.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Marion, NC. Great food all around they have something for everyone. I usually go there for lunch, but last night, we ended up working through lunch and got there for dinner. Which was a completely different menu with even more options. The food was well prepared and done to your liking, and the portions are definitely worth the value. The staff here is super friendly they always do their best to make sure you have a pleasant experience. 😊

Never been here before but was surprised to hear about it. The couple that owns this are absolutely fantastic people & i couldn't imagine a better owner to trust. John has managed stuff for my pops before at the lake & he was a top notch professional about everything. Jen is a no nonsense woman w/ a extremely good heart. They deserve for this place to thrive greatly so I hope people see this & stop by just cause you will be treated right. Great to see it happening.

We were in the area on a hiking/ camping trip. Came out to eat and tried J. Hartmans for the first time. It was dinner rush time, yet we were seated in a short while. The staff was so pleasant and professional. Best of all was quietly watching how they interacted with one another. They treat each other with the same courtesy and you can tell they like working here. The owner or manager was on premises checking on his patrons and staff. The food was delicious, promptly served, and a good value. They have repeat customers in us. Great Friday night date. Celebrating our 39 years of marriage and my completion of Kevin Adams 100 Waterfalls Challenge. Perfect atmosphere for a celebration. Thank you all so much.

Food was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. Only complaints was the chili could have been served at a hotter temperature and the burger was kinda messy. Everything tasted great though and the staff took great care of us. Would definitely recommend.

Really great restaurant. Everything is well done. The chili the broccoli soup, sandwich (I had the hot ham and Swiss on rye) homemade chicken tenders. Even the creamy slaw and broccoli salad. Our server Brittany was excellent and even offered us a to-go drink. The food and ambiance is great. Nice restaurant too-cool art. The blue bar floor is also well done. Happy we stopped here. Food came out hot and fast also. All was tasty.

We really enjoyed our meal. We both had steak and shrimp. The food was excellent. The only thing was the close proximity to the other patron. There were plenty of available tables but we were at one of the booth type tables that had a small table close beside it and the hostess seated a man right beside me. I felt obligated to talk to him so our meal was interrupted and we didn’t have any privacy.

We celebrated an anniversary dinner on Oct 19th, 2023. We had arrived a little before 4, when they change from lunch to dinner, so we waited.beverages from the bar were great, and the food was amazing. Our group had the prime rib, shrimp and grits, and ribeyes. All were amazing!!!! The gouda mac n cheese was the best weve ever had! Desserts were taken home, because we were full (salted caramel cheesecake). They were great for breakfast.

The service was top notch!!! We will be gladly making the stop there anytime we are near the Marion area (2 plus hours away)

My Ruben sandwich, while a bit out of the norm, was delicious. The corned beef was sliced thicker than usual but not overly tough. I had a side salad, which was plentiful and tasty. Our server was competent, attentive, and friendly. I did not have dessert, but the selection was appealing. I will return.

Good food at great prices. Brittney is the best bartender/waitress ever , she makes the best liquid Marijuana which is my favorite drink. She cares about her customers , and will even try to cheer you up when your having a bad day. I eat here at lunch everyday and have yet to leave without a smile on my face.

This place was really good. We wish we had discovered this place earlier in our vacation. We had the French dip & a Lauren's burger, both were excellent. Service was super friendly and knowledgeable about their products. Highly recommend Hartmans.

Stephanie could not have been more accommodating and personable. Christmas spirit was exuberant on this day. California veggie wrap as a vegetarian option was top notch.

One of the best lunches I've had in awhile and our server Stephanie was incredible! Honesty can't recommend this place or her more! I love the vegetarian menu. It's difficult to come by in the South so I'm thankful for a new spot with those options.
