It's hard to go nuts about a chain but the price/quality means great value! It's not a big box store but if you're looking for tools you should stop at HF first. You'll find power tools are at least 25%less than comparable brand name tools. Hand tools are about half price.
Update: Today I bought a pneumatic hammer kit to clean mortar off used brick. Works great and cost whopping $14.

The rest of the world has exponentially went up on prices blaming shortages and supply chain issues, yet Harbor Freight manages to always have what I need in stock and the prices are the same or close to what they were 2 years ago. There's something to be said for that considering everything in the store comes from China. Great prices and the quality has only gotten better in the past few years.I will continue to shop here.

GREAT Place!! What else can I say... They have great customer service that will actually go outta their way to ask you if you need any help with finding anything and without even asking will go in back and check and make sure they have plenty in case u dont decide to buy that day for some reason.. Never had a problem with any of their tools that have been compared to big brand names. They actually have price comparisons on the tool u are interested in and the numbers to back up their product against the big boys. Saying that I'm beginning to wonder who the "big boys" really are now. With the prices so so much cheaper for the same tool compared to atleast 4 other big names and blowing them out the water when it comes to torque , weight , lifting power, extra accessories that u have to buy separate with other tool. From floor Jack's, to welders , to impact wrenches, to home security and everything else in between. If I was you, I'd do myself a favor and atleast stop by Harbor Freight and see for yourself if you dont beleive me.. And did I forget to mention all their stuff is out of the box on display so u can actually see what your getting and put your hands on it and mess around with it for awhile , unlike other places that have big equipment like this and u dont even know what it looks like the quality of it or anything until you have already purchased and got to the house to unbox something in my case that isnt what I expected it to be...! So yea, def 5 stars for me. I could spend hours in there looking and messing around with all the cool tools that no other place in town has.. it's like a mini vacation to a toy land and for that brief time tour their focused on the tools and what not you seem to forget about everything else that's goin on .. Some things u just cant forget though, if you have had it before and know how amazing it is and no other could compare , and you both know without a doubt u were made for each other, dont you ever settle for another tool. Good place to buy cheap tools .....usually have almost anything and most of the time its a decent price....that being said you also get what you pay for.....but I must say I have purchased 2 different engines from here and there very good never had any issues.

I love harbor freight. I purchased a lot of items from them and have always had good results. A couple of times I had to return product and there was no hassle, they honored the warranty on the spot.

Thank God for cameras. We needed to take something back and the item wasn't in the computer so they had to look up the security footage to make sure we paid for it. Needless to say they found it after that and gave us out money back. They were understanding and helped us. We give them alot of business.

Great place, my husband and I arrived close to the closing of the store. But no one rushed us to get out, and our cashier was amazing. We will for sure be going back.

Got everything I was looking for and probably more than I needed good thing they have that program where you're a member saved a lot of money cost $30 a year I suggest anybody that's able to get it especially if you're using tools a lot!! 🔧🛠🗜📐🔧
