Banyan Tree is the best dental office that I've been to. Dr. Truong and her staff go out of their way to make patients feel comfortable & welcome. The appointments are easy to schedule (and reschedule if needed) and everything is clearly communicated. They even have weekend hours that provide flexibility for people with busy careers during the week. Definitely recommend!

Phenomenal, caring and detail-oriented - that's how I would describe the entire team at Banyan Tree Dental! They really go out of their way to do the very best for each patient. I hadn't been able to see a dentist in years and was experiencing pain. *Dr. Truong* was extremely attentive in treating my problem spots right away. She took her time with each visit to ensure she was getting the cavities out and did fillings & crowns to perfection on teeth in tricky locations. She also ensured my comfort during each visit and explained everything she was doing. As someone who normally gets horrible anxiety at dentists' offices, she made me feel calm and assured at all times. She is also extremely knowledgeable and careful.

*Yulia* did a fantastic and thorough job with deep cleaning. She was extremely professional, calming and meticulous at all times. (I also met *Dr. Natallia* beforehand who numbed me very well:-)) *Karrie* at the front desk is always so welcoming and accommodating with my tricky schedule and even helped in getting me a discount for multiple necessary treatments. She's always awesome! *Anjila* did a wonderful job making and securely placing on my temporary crowns while I was waiting for my permanent ones to come in. The temporary crowns she made stayed on securely for weeks and looked natural. She also took detailed X-Rays which were reviewed carefully by Dr. Truong to ensure they were able to successfully treat all areas.

I have very sensitive teeth/gums and everyone involved in my treatment was sooo gentle and created a pain-free experience :) Also love that this practice is open on weekends! If you are someone who gets nervous about going to the dentist or you're looking for a knowledgeable, caring team that consistently delivers safe and excellent treatment, I would 100% recommend Banyan Tree Dental. These ladies are absolute angels! Thank you all!

I have been going to the Banyan Tree Dental Orthodontics for two years and have had such a positive experience throughout all of my visits. The staff are kind and friendly. The physical location also has great parking regardless of the time of day. The inside is always clean and every time I have an appointment, I'm comfortable with the doctors and the work that they do. I love that they are available on the weekend so I don't have to take off work to take care of my teeth. I would definitely recommend visiting this office.

As a mother of 5 children, I would highly recommend Banyan Tree Dental. We have been patients at this office since 2014. The entire staff is always very courteous and friendly. Their office is conveniently open for cleanings and procedures on BOTH Saturdays and Sundays. This is a huge benefit for working parents and busy families with full schedules. It is so much more convenient to find a time that will work for you and your family compared to dental practices that only see patients during "standard" Monday- Friday hours!

Dr. Truong is amazing. She is very thorough and does a great job explaining any procedure that needs to be performed. Furthermore, their office does a great job working with dental insurance companies and communicating upfront what the out of pocket costs will be.

When I first went to Banyan Tree Dental, I hadn't been to a dentist in over 7 years. I knew I needed help but I was so ashamed for not going and so scared at what a medical provider would say to me. I'm 30 years old and I broke down crying within 5 minutes of being in the chair because I was so anxious. Immediately, Dr. Truong and the rest of the staff were so incredibly comforting and reassuring, they really listened to me and heard my worries and presented me with an individualized plan to help me repair my teeth and gums on a schedule that worked with my career, my finances, and my comfort level. Karrie at the front desk even got up and gave me a hug. She is SO SWEET, every single time I see her, it makes my day. They are not advertised as being trauma-informed care but they could and should be, they are so friendly and gentle. Banyan Tree Dental literally kickstarted a lifestyle change for me where I now feel empowered to take care of my health in other areas as well. Something I had not yet been able to do as an adult, and something I will forever be grateful for. I literally can't say enough good things about them. They are open on the weekend, have a very cute waiting room, and cute little toothbrush bags. It's been almost 2 years since I started going and now I have regular healthy teeth.

I went from ashamed to empowered. They are legitimately saving lives over at Banyan Tree Dental. Thank you to Dr. Truong, Karrie, and everyone else who has been part of my care team. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I always love coming to Banyan Tree Dental! The staff is very funny, yet also professional. They have weekend hours which makes it very convenient for me and my family. I’ve been in on a Sunday once. I love how I can lay back and watch a movie while Dr. Truong works away on my teeth. Dr. Truong is the best! She is very gentle, caring, and informative. She’s the first dentist who’s mentioned about using baking soda as a paste to neutralize acids in my mouth! The only negative thing I can say is it’s a long drive from my house, but that doesn’t matter!

I have not been in a more caring dentist office like this one... I just moved from a fancy, dental spa to here... and I Don’t regret my decision. Had a horrible tooth pain during the weekend... Called them, saw me on a Saturday, they open on Sundays!! Who does that??? Only a practice that understands that dental issues not just happened Monday -Friday. Dr Truong is just sooo gentle, caring and honest!! I really feel is not about how much they can get out of me or the insurance.... is only about my dental health!!! I have gone to the dentist religiously at least twice a year my entire life. I normally don't write reviews, In fact this is my first review ever, however after reading some of the reviews that are negative on this site, I decided the honorable thing to do would be to give the honest truth. First of all I, have never felt more like family. They took care of me and my dental needs better than I've ever received in my entire life. In fact, I have a hard time eating four to six hours after being seen by Banyan Tree Dental because my teeth feel so clean, I don't want to mess them up. Secondly, my insurance made a mistake, but Banyan Tree Dental caught my insurance mistake so quickly that I didn't even know what happened until it was all fixed. Lastly my insurance is one of the worst in the state since I'm a teacher, however Banyan Tree Dental took care of me and my financial needs in the best ways possible by working with me. I can't iterate this enough, Dr. Lee and the rest of the staff will make you feel as if you're part of their family and your teeth are theirs. Trust me, I promise you you will never find better than the love and caring atmosphere at Banyan Tree Dental.

This place is amazing! I was a bit nervous at first considering my first ortho was really brutal (Dr Goodson) but they were so nice and they comforted me the entire time! I think her name is Brittani? But anyways, she seems to know everything I am experiencing along the way and it makes me feel really good cuz then i know what is coming! Dr Truong along with the entire staff are all really experience and really nice! Dr Truong when I hear her talk it is all reasonable. I am still on treatment but
this place is way better than Dr Goodson! This morning I went for a walk in appointment because my braces weren't turning out well (not their fault, just my teeth are to complicated) but I went in, and they gladly fixed it and like 6 hours later there is a tiny difference ALREADY!!! Highly Recommend!

Update: I recently met a new dentist that treats cavities. Her name was Dr. Lee. She was really chill, made jokes, and comforted me during my filling. She says encouraging words during the process too!

Dr. Truong and her staff take special care of me every visit due to a rare disease that I have that causes pain in my jaw. She is able to perform all of the x rays, cleaning and exams with NO PAIN! I am even able to come in on Weekends! Great dentist! She also took care of me on an emergency that was very painful.

Awesome facility and awesome staff!

Dr.Truong and her staff are very knowledgeable. Everyone is warm and welcoming, they treat you like family from the second you walk in the door. My family is new to Austin and I'm so grateful to have found a dentist we can trust.

Super service & great experience! And we were SO glad someone was there on a Sunday to help with a suddenly very painful tooth. I think our dentist was Dr. Lee -- that's what it said on her lab coat. Great front desk & tech staff as well. Highly recommended.

Our entire family goes to Banyan Tree Dental. We needed a dentist who could work with our son who is on the autism spectrum. This group is wonderful with him. They are honest, helpful and their hours make it very convenient. We are so happy we found this dentist!

This has been the best dental appointment I’ve ever had! Everyone was so kind and considerate. And talk about the gentleness! I’ve never had a dentist appointment be so pain free before. I absolutely recommend this office!

I highly recommended Banyan Tree Dental! The office is beautiful, cozy and has a very warm feeling to it, which was great because my 14 year old is afraid of going to the dentist. Dr. Truong and Rosa made us all feel very comfortable! Thanks to Dr. Truong and Rosa my daughter is looking forward to her next visit!!!

Love coming here! Dr Truong is the only time I don’t mind going to the dentist, clean professional staff, appointments start on time! Very knowledgeable, and extremely thorough. Will continue to come here or wherever her office is.

Both of my daughters, are getting their braces. The treatment is not completed yet but I couldn't be happier with their smiles. The Doctor and everyone on her staff couldn't be nicer. The price and the payment plan is very affordable.

When I first read all the positive reviews for Dr.Truong, I was a little skeptical. “No one can be that good," I thought. I decided to venture out and give Banyan Tree Dental a try any way. I’m so glad that I took the leap of faith and went to this dental office. Dr. Truong is as good as the reviews say she is. Perhaps, she is even better.

First, and foremost, her dental knowledge and skills are better than any dentist I have visited before. Second, she is up-to-date on the latest dental technologies such as 1) a hand-held “x-ray gun” used to take bite wings (instead of the older x-ray cone whereby the technician tells you to bite down, while she then dashes out of the room and stands behind the lead shield and “zaps” you.) By the way, Dr. Truong’s dental assistant, Rosa, is great too, and she lays a lead blanket on top you you to protect you from the x-rays, and 2) a small wand used to measure demineralization of your teeth. There even is a television mounted on the ceiling of the exam/treatment room so when Dr. Truong lays the dental chair back, you can watch TV, if you wish, while she works on your teeth. Last, but not least, Dr. Truong and Rosa are very sweet and caring people and that makes a big difference too.

It’s not all about the money at Banyan Tree Dental. In fact, I needed a few procedures done in the future, but Dr. Truong did not pressure me at all. She gave me an estimate of the procedures’ costs and told me just to watch the problem areas in my mouth, and if they were to give me trouble, just let her know if and when I was ready. All I can say is: “Dr. Truong, where have you been all of my life? I wish I had known you sooner because compared to you, all the other dentists I have visited earlier are not nearly as good as you are.”

So, if you are looking for a G-R-E-A-T dentist, please consider giving Banyan Tree Dental and Dr. Michelle Truong and Rosa a try. I think you will be glad you did, just as I am.
