Happy Joe's Pizza - Urbandale

I haven't been to happy joes in years! We moved and the kids wanted to try something different, 100% satisfied. I have ordered here twice since moving and the first time was excellent, second time had a couple bumps in the road but they resolved my issue. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and respectful. They replaced my order and ensured it was delivered as my car was in the shop at the time. Highly recommend!

OG taco pizza never disappoints. It's a delivery/take-out location, so no atmosphere to judge. I didn't want to take stars away, so made it 5.

Only ever ordered from them (never dine in) but as an avid lover of taco pizza i will say they have hands down the best taco pizza in the des moines metro. Price is worth the pizza, Cant recommend enough!

Grabbed pizza for work today- and walked in to a one man show. The driver had called in etc. The young guy working was so kind and on top of everything! It is not easy being a one man show when serving food. I had a great experience all around- the pizza was delicious!

Happy Joe's Pizza never disappoints! The nostalgia I get from every bite is blissful. It takes me right back to my childhood when their pizza was served at every birthday party, and their ice cream was at the center of all our celebrations and achievements.
Tonight I had the pleasure of introducing my husband, a former California native, to Happy Joe's. While he'll never know the nostalgia I experience, I could tell he loved his wings and the cinnamon dessert we shared. Besides the yums and declaration of how good they were, I knew he was thoroughly enjoying them because he was doing the bouncy thing he does when he's eating something especially delicious. I have a feeling he'll be wanting those wings again very soon. Aside from that, my Canadian bacon pizza looked just as delicious as it tasted, and the dessert pizza was perfection. If I could give the over all experience 10+ stars, I would. We will definitely be back soon.

This is my all time favorite place for Taco Pizza. It's the kind of pizza that's not only great warm, but perfect for straight out of the fridge left overs. The taco sauce is excellent. The employees are curtious and welcoming. They have enough variations on their taco style pizza's that allow everyone to enjoy. There is no dine in, but you can pick-up or have it delivered. Even if taco pizza isn't quite your thing, you really should just give it a try. You’ll be glad you did.

I can't pinpoint exactly what it is about it (likely the sauce and blend of cheeses), but I love this pizza. I used to frequent the dine-in locations as a kid, but I still support Happy Joe's even now that it's carry-out or delivery only. They do have a couple of tables outside that you can sit down at to enjoy your fresh pizza on-site if you choose. This is the pizza I miss most about living in Des Moines.

Happy Joe's has the best thin crust pizza and my favorite is the Happy Joe's Special, Canadian Bacon & Saurcraut...mmgood

Dang good pizza that leaves a dang big dent in your wallet, and an even danger big dent in your stomach when you inevitably gorge yourself on this stuff. Who can possibly resist? The cheese, the dough, the sauce are all to die for! Go eat there, and be happy, like Joe.
