Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs

What a great experience this was - we sang the National Anthem and watched watched the Rail Yard Dawgs win the hockey game and qualified for the play offs before 7 thou people. It just doesn' get better than that.

I've seen three games in this building over the years but my most recent visit was to take a quick trip inside to get a picture with my wife and I before we got on the road to Hershey. Thought it would be cool to visit two championship arenas in the same day. And we did!!!

Fast paced local hockey team. Good game, kept my grand kids entertained. The refreshments were a little expensive, but well prepared and served quickly.

I haven't been to a hockey game in quite a while and I will say that I had a fabulous night tonight and it was such a wonderful game. Thank you for the memories that I made tonight!

It's an excellent,rowdy atmosphere. It's not threatening but does have loads of energy, the fans are always into the game and the games are never boring my only suggestion is our Rail Dawgs play a little more physical a little more often. otherwise this is hands-down the best entertainment the Roanoke Valley has to offer.

The fans and general atmosphere are electric. It is always a good time! We also appreciate that the shuttle service is free.

My family loves going to the Dawgs games! Food and drink prices are comparable to other venues. I love that local teams are supported by food and drink putchases!

Had a blast at the hockey game! This is the 3rd game I watched at the bergland center and we want to get season tickets next year. Good selection of food and drinks and the game is affordable and very entertaining. If its real busy the parking will sell out at the gates and you will have to park downtown and take the free shuttle bus back and forth (buy parking tickets online ahead of the game). Dont bring anything bigger than a wallet with you unless it fits in a gallon zip bag. The door security is real serious about pocket knives, Leathermans, and handbags. Check out the restrictions online before you go... or you WILL get turned around at the gate to put restricted items in your car. I highly recommend checking out the hockey games! Great for the family.

It was a great place to see a game. The hockey was great and the experience was awesome especially for a family.

My first hockey game and the team didn't disappoint got to see them win my daughter got a game puck all in all a great time with family and friends

Got to see our first game since moving here last year. Wish for a few more afternoon game options as my 7 year old made it to the second intermission before passing out.
Very entertaining game, very nice venue, great shuttle service to the parking garage.

Fun, family atmosphere. Hockey is always fun to watch, and the food is actually pretty dang good!!

So much fun, fairly cheap for a night out of the house, and very family friendly. GO DAWGS
