The style of the hotel is special and artistic. The front desk staff were always responsible and responding quickly. I would like to give thanks to Nikki, who patiently showed several rooms to me and answered all of my questions. Her professional work attitude and attention to detail were memorable and very helpful. I will recommend your hotel to my friends if they plan to travel to New Orleans.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Historic Mardi Gras Inn. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. The service and hospitality extended to us was unmatched. We truly appreciate their kindness to us! We enjoyed sitting out on the patio and nearby amenities like Starbucks and Robert’s Fresh Market. I can’t say enough good things about the Marigny neighborhood and how easy is it is to walk over to the French Quarter. We will be back!

This place was wild and weird, I loved it! Will definitely come back and stay here again.
Also, the lady at the front desk is a sweetheart, very kind and pleasant. I hope she reads this, because it's nice to hear someone say positive things about you, and I wish nice things for her.

I always enjoy staying here. The staff is great and very friendly. They are helpful in every way and will do what they can to get you what you need as soon as they can.. The rooms are comfortable and I've never had any issues with a room i've stayed in. The location is really the greatest and it's one of the main reasons i like to stay here...Along with the fact that you can relax here and its not so uptight and snooty like other hotels. So i will definately stay here many more times im sure .

This is a Beautiful place to stay and the Staff is VERY NICE and helpful and assisted and met my needs. Due to covid cases rising during the time of my stay and every since Covid let up s bit I take my own bedding, sheets, pillows, towels and Lysol to properly sanitize the room BEFORE I touch anything or unpack my belongings. Photos will show MY bedding so please don't be confused with thinking that's what the bedding comes with.

Due to me removing the standard comforter and sheets that come with the Room it allows me to see what EXACTLY I'm sleeping on. If the mattress is stained then steps are also taken to make sure it's sanitary and disinfected.

Unless, you're someone who was born with a Silver Spoon and a Silver Platter then I would suppose you wouldn't stay here. This place is so cozy, wholesome, with character and charm like a little hidden gem. During my stay they were painting the pavement the Mardi Gras colors and some photos will show the tape laid out. The shower worked great, the bed was decent, comfort wise, not the Best but was tolerable for me. I've had 5 Back Surgeries so getting a comfortable bed is always a treat IF I manage to stay at a location with a bed that can accommodate to my needs but it is, what it is. There might have been a stain here and there but if anyone is complaining about this place, then their home better be spotless.

I really enjoyed the Front desk staff and my stay here, I would definitely come back to this location when I return. It was within walking distance from Jackson Square 4 minutes in a vehicle or 20 minutes walking distance along with the same to town. The street parking for Guest can get a little tight but overall if you know how to parallel park you'll be fine and you don't have to worry about having to go park a mile away. The area for the most part was quiet and very safe, I didn't feel unsafe and I didn't feel like I needed to be watching over my vehicle or sleeping with one eye open. The Coded Access Gate door offers an extra layer of safety and cameras are located ALL around the building and are monitored constantly. Thank you so much, for making my Stay Safe and Enjoyable I will definitely be back.

Let me just say the vibe was IT! The room was nice and clean and the ladies were so nice and gave us lots of recommendations and advice on what and what not to do/ wear when we asked. I was able to keep my door open and relax. The back is super beautiful!

Ideal place for travellers on a budget, looking for True New Orleans experince. Clean and comfortable, though Simple. The Deli across the Street with huge variety of Buffet food was a huge plus. Ww had breakfasts there every day. 10 minute walk to Frenchman Street.

I try to stay here every time I come to New Orleans. Not sure where these negative reviews come from. This is a very inexpensive, charming and historic hotel in a perfect location. The staff is incredibly nice, so if during the course of my stay, I had any issues, they certainly would have taken care of them. So far though, nothing to complain about.

There is a wonderful communal patio, fun nearby bars and a market that serves delicious po-boys. Give this place some love.

One of the best places I've EVER stayed!
A gorgeous courtyard, comfortable little rooms, friendly staff, and it's SO BEAUTIFUL! I felt welcomed as soon as we stepped in the door of the brightly decorated office.
My daughter and I slept like babies after going out for a girl's night. They gave us towels when we asked, and made the whole experience really nice. I will absolutely stay here, again!

We stayed her for 3 days in May and loved it. Rooms were large enough and well kept. The management was friendly and professional. If you are looking for a real New Orleans experience then you should consider this for your stay for what I would call a boutique hotel with an old New Orleans atmosphere.

This ain’t no fancy bed and breakfast or a five star hotel but I loved every moment here. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood that you a free to walk thru and near plenty of bars. It’s a mixed crowd throughout. Some people are sketchy but you’ll be okay if you mind your business.

The rooms are old but were clean as a whistle and my old bed slept great! I saw reviews about roaches and saw a roach trap but there were no bugs in sight.

If you can appreciate old architecture and historic Louisiana charm, you’ll do well here.

I felt safe with my mom and children. They loved it as well and the staff was wonderful.

I will definitely return here again.

Everything is a little dated but it’s clean and fully functional.

We found this place online and was reading the reviews was so not sure if wanted to stay. After arriving the front staff was friendly & made you feel welcome… then we were shown our room
#201 WOW !! It was like stepping back in time
and loved it! The bed was amazing and there was nothing to complain about in our stay. The price was beyond reasonable the room area was huge loved the balcony. Can’t say enough the location was walking distance to French quarters & there we got a bicycle taxi to Bourbon St. Oh there is amazing market 1/2 block that has also a variety of buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Coffee bar “yum”
If we would have had more time would have stayed longer. Definitely will be back !! Oh one thing I would suggest maybe a small coffee maker in the room 😊

Thank you so much for wonderful hospitality. It's encounters like this that we enjoy most in this life. Latonda was a pleasure speaking with over the phone and accomodated us perfectly for a really late check in. Jazzy was super sweet at the front desk and answered all of my annoying questions, and Shauna was just as sweet as can freaking be. She kept an eye on our motorcycle we had on our trailer for the duration of our stay. I love New Orleans so much and I'd come back to The Olde Towne Inn anytime. They truly made our experience here more wonderful than it already was. I'd rather give my money to a small business like this than a sellout. This is the real heart of New Orleans right here.

Me and my wife got a room here upstairs inside the courtyard. We absolutely loved it! Great and friendly staff! Our room was a decent size with high ceilings, had a ceiling fan, the air conditioner worked amazing and it was clean all the way around. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the other guests were very friendly to us. All in all we have to say that Olde Town Inn is one of our favorite places to stay in New Orleans!

I'm giving a rating as a 2 star hotel. The rooms aren't fancy. They are not modern. But they were clean and the people that work there are wonderful. The location can't be beat, it's a block away from a few great bars, an arcade, and the Allways Lounge. A five minute walk to Frenchmen and ten to the Quarter. Right across the street from a grocery with a great deli. I love the Marigny neighborhood.

If you want a fancy hotel with every amenity and zero character you're gonna have a bad time here. And really, for the rates that's also kind of silly to expect. If you want a clean bed to lay your head for cheap this is great. Oh, and as a bonus the room might have been haunted.

Jason at the front desk was great. Learn from my mistake and book directly through the hotel and not a third party. And NEVER, EVER VISIT THIS CITY AND USE AIRBNB OR SONDER. Do. Not. It's massively disrespectful. Give your money to people who live here, not some multimillion corporation.

We have not been yet but have reservations next month. Front desk people are incredibly friendly, polite and helpful on the phone. They answered all my questions and guided me toward a better price than any of the " booking " websites. if the stay is as nice as Jasmine was it will be a great stay.
