Rouses Market

I really like this Rouses' location! Not only is it convenient but its convenient lol!!! From fresh produce to hot prepared boiled or baked meals, are usually on handy. I also appreciate their sushi section. Now I'm not saying it's the biggest, it's actually quite small but I can actually say there is always a great, fresh variety of rolls!
I literally only love Rouses for their cashew and nuts selections lol because sometimes they can be a little pricey, but I literally love the sushi and variety nuts....
Most of the time I am in and out in no time and there is always fresh produce stocked in the produce department. BTW on my delicious cheat days, I love to get Rouses baked fresh cookies. OMG the bakers definitely do an awesome job of making them nice and tasty. Happy Holidays and I hope you have a Happy New Year.

Excellent customer service. They were out of oysters. (Here in South Louisiana you *have* to stuff your turkey with oysters etc.) So the seafood manager called other stores and found a pint. They held them for me. Xmas dinner saved!

Great service at checkout and meat dept. I need help and meat lady took her time to show me where the chicken gizzard and livers were. Great employees

Great huge aisles. Big displays. Nice and clean. This store needed this upgrade.

Drove in from Tomball, Tx. Have a craving for crawfish and remembered the deals from my last year visit. Carrollton location debit pay was off line so security suggested I drive to location near Lakefront. They were friendly and walked me to my car with purchased items due to sciatica nerve pain. Thx

Didn't even know this place was here! Haven't gone inside but the drive up Franklin was lovely and the parking lot was not packed and I would say it is probably one of the easiest rouses to manage in the city if I had to take a guess. Just based off the outside. I actually went to Quest Diagnostics which is in the same lot.

People here are very helpful and nice to speak with when needing help. The store is very pristinely stocked. Sometimes the fruit is really bad with fruit flies everywhere but the fresh vegetables are always there when i need them i love shopping here. Best family grocery store to run into for my first time out of state.

Rouses is always, for the most part, a pretty cool store. It was clean; I went on Father's day to catch a few sales. Although, Rouses is a bit pricey! It was pretty crowded, due to the Father's day holiday. It's also crawfish season, so that brought about a crowd too. Fresh and boiled crawfish was available for purchase. Overall, I had a pretty good experience. There "Gentilly cakes" are good too.

Love this place. Made my baby PJ Mask birthday cake for his 5th birthday. And his Sonic themed cupcakes. He was happy and i was happy. Big ups to the people that worked the bakery department on February 02,2022 when I ordered that evening.

Best supermarket in my area. Good meat, great produce, decent prices and lots of vegan/vegetarian options. I like that most of the floor space is filled with healthy foods. Seafood selection is on time. I never have a long wait at checkout and the staff is very helpful!

Stopped in Rouses' while visiting home for the holidays. The store was very clean, well stocked with local favorites, at great sale prices, and the staff were polite and helpful. I picked up quite a few items to bring back to Houston when I returned.
The ladies in the bakery area were great, taking time to describe the many wonderful flavors and cremes that were in the baked goodies that were temptingly and beautifully displayed. I am embarassed to say we bought a cake, and quite a few other goods that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Overall, a great shopping experience.

Hey Howdy Folks.. when dog and house sitting for our friends in St.Roch I pop on down Franklin to this location rite beside Lakefront Arena.. allways the FRESHEST VEGGIES and helpful deli counter employees..

Large selection, reasonably priced

We drive out of our way to shop here. We we're greeted at the door. Food is fresh and we'll displayed. The have good variety of food from packaged to specialty. Checkout line was three people deep, but clerks we're fast. Good shopping experience.

I've never been so find of a store. It's so clean and we'll organized. You can tell the employees take pride in their work. I love it. And it smells good when you first walk in.

I shop at the Lakefront Rouses at least 5 days a week since I returned to the neighborhood in 2013. Fresh vegetables and quality meats are staples in my kitchen and when possible I prefer to have the meat cut to order. Two weeks ago, I came in to purchase short ribs and there were only two packages on the shelf. A young man named Rocky approached me and offered his help. It was in the evening and he seemed to be the only one on duty. He stopped stocking the meat case and cut the short ribs. They were so beautiful that I bought 7lbs. instead of the 3lbs. I requested. He was courteous,genuine and professional. Best experience I have had at Rouses!
