Great food and fantastic service! We are visiting from Sweden and wanted some authentic New Orleans cuisine. We found it! We were lead inside and seated by a very nice man who watched the door. Bri was our server and took care of all of our needs. The Bloody Mary was a banger and the oysters were super fresh. All of our food was tasty and the atmosphere and vibe were spot on.

Olde Nola Cookery has fast service, a classic southern menu, and great pricing for seafood, while being on Bourbon Street!

I enjoyed the grilled shrimp caesar salad at the bar, and it was delicious. The dressing was a great portion and there were eight shrimp atop the salad, which is pretty generous.

Easy to get to and find, and all of the staff were super friendly during the lunch rush.

My mother was in the mood for oysters and I was looking for something creamy and flavorful!
Upon arrival, the man at the door was welcoming and friendly. After a short wait, we were seated and immediately seen to.
Bri was kind, swift, and thoughtful. She took our drink order immediately and brought us water while we explored the menu. The dark and homey environment was a welcome deviation from their cold and dull competition.
The cocktails were great and the music was excellent. Be sure to swing by and get their excellent Jambalaya Pasta.

Excellent meal! Started off with Gator Tail Bites. Then we had cheeseburger with fries and Caesar salad with shrimp. Delicious. Great service from Dee. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend this restaurant.

We had dinner here last night and it was a great experience. We were greeted as soon as I we walked in and seated within minutes of them getting a free table. The waitress was friendly and able to suggest great things for us to try. So happy we found this place for some authentic Cajun food. It was all very delicious.

Amazing experience to eat here on the NYE weekend Saturday night! The duck was off the chain! The crispy fried chicken crunched to perfection. The seasonings were all perfect!! Bread pudding was the best in town! Doormen were polite, helpful, and even helped bring us the first round of drinks and entertained us during the meal. Perfect night at a perfect place! Thank you!

We came for lunch during a conference weekend. We were craving poboys and so there was zero room for disappointment or games. Let’s just say… they did not drop the ball 😭😭😭😭 that poboy was probably the best I’ve had in my life, and with that crawfish mushroom cream sauce on top?????? Are you out of your mind?????? 😭 so good. 30 out of 10. I will say the little cocktail I had was I think 14 or 15 dollars and not that good. 6 out of 10, but everything else we ordered was solid. I’d go back quick.

We had a very large party walking in. Staff was very helpful in finding us appropriate seating, near but not all at the same table. It worked. Our server was amazing. She was so helpful in helping to pick the best dishes. I ordered the crab cake platter with mashed potatoes and collard greens. The food was so good. Everyone cleared their plates.

Big fan of Old NOLA Cookery here! It’s a “must” for me each and every time I visit New Orleans! My personal favorite is the grilled chicken alfredo! They have switch the noodles to penne style, which isn’t my favorite type of noodle, but it’s not going to stop me from loving it! They give generous portions, and are very generous with the amount of sauce! My sister and I usually split an order of the Alfredo it’s so large (and there are so many places we want to eat at while we’re there!) - normally, they just bring the regular bowl and we both share it. This time, they asked if we were planning to split it, and they brought us each a smaller portion but in our own bowls! It was an extra $1, but it was perfect! We were very happy with the this! Our husbands had blackened chicken and blackened fish, which they both said were wonderful, but they really raved on and on about the side of greens - they agreed that they were the best greens they’d ever had!

Keep up the good Old NOLA - you have my heart!

WOW. A must-stop for Bourbon Street. The food, service, and atmosphere were nothing short of what you'd expect from a Cajun Creole dine-in experience. We ate upstairs, I had a po boy, and boy was she delicious. Blackened catfish was lovely. My family ordered many other menu items, my father the gumbo spread/flight so we got a taste of all the classic NOLA favourites. The balcony upstairs, combined with the atmosphere & decor inside this restaurant made for an experience we will never forget.

Super busy ALWAYS but understand being on bourbon street and having delicious food. I work a few places down so I stop in often but mostly Togo because after working I don’t want to sit in a crowd of people lol food is always delicious. Service is hit or miss. Server this time forgot some of our food, maybe we came in a little late and he was ready to go. I did really want my
Fried crawfish tails and I talked them
Up so much my friend really wanted hers too but after waiting for a while
And the server not returning until we were almost done I just said forget it but everything else was pretty good

Great Creole food! We had the blackened duck, the blackened chicken poboy and the jambalaya pasta. It was all excellent. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for authentic Creole food in the city. The menu is a perfect example of creole food as a cuisine, as it not only has all the well known New Orleans dishes, but many lesser known examples of Creole cooking across a wide variety of seafood and non-seafood dishes. They also have alligator tail meat which we had blackened and it was delicious. We sat on a little patio out back, but the service was still timely and efficient. A god choice all around.

Nice place, we just came in for a quick dinner. My husband got the crawfish etouffe and I got the red beans and rice. Both were delicious and filling, but we made some room for the pecan pie which was super tasty too.

Very nice fried shrimp and seafood gumbo. The portions are a bit small since we just had starters and a side but it was very tasty!

We absolutely love this place!!! We eat here when we come into town for Mardis Gras every year. When were seated and greeted by our waitress very promply. The wife and I both had the fried fish and shrimp plate. It comes with fries and coleslaw. She added gumbo and I added red beans and rice. They were very busy as usual but the food came out hot and fast. The fish is very white tasty and not fishy at all. The fried shrimp was to die along with the gumbo and red beans rice. If you come during Mardi Gras it can book up so be prepared. We will continue to eat here as long as we come to the French quarter in NOLA. If you want more of a casual place to eat where you not expected to be in dress attire then this is your spot!!
