Robért Fresh Market Marigny

Let me start by saying: I love this place! They are like a WholeFoods Market but in Louisiana and have everything you can think of from fresh sushi to a variety of baked goods. There is a good balance between the amount of fresh made food and groceries in this store and everything is put in sustainable packaging! For the most part: great, comfy store.

I love the prepared meals, yogurt parfaits, sushi rolls, fresh produce, fish, and they’ve got everything else you need.

The place where the locals eat and enjoy traditional New Orleans Creole, Cajun and Soul Food. You can still experience the flavor of New Orleans

Dang! This coffee is good! Staying with a friend nearby. I walked over expecting a coffee shop to find that it's in a grocery store. After I realized that I figured the coffee wouldn't be good, boy was I wrong. Yum!

Visitors from Houston. I found you while searching Delis, looking for something besides fast food to take back to our hotel. We hit the jackpot with the self service food section. 9.99 a lb was pretty pricey, but lots of veggies, fish, wings, etc
Definitely an older store, with character , so just enjoy the browzing. And try those garlic parm wings!

This a really nice and complete neighborhood market. Veggie, fruit, birthday cakes, beer and wine...

But the product is well worth it.

Great market in an area of the city that needs a great market. The ready to eat items are abundant, along with a full deli and a great selection of your everyday items. Clean, comfortable and a friendly staff with decent pricing. If you live in the Marigny or Bywater area, the Robert Fresh Market is must visit.

Expensive, but a great market for groceries, prepared foods, wine, beer, & liquor.

10/14/2022: This market was within walking distance to our hotel. I loved it and wished I could've stayed longer to wander the aisles. What caught my eye was a section of grab and go prepared meals - sandwiches, entrees, etc. There was a nice produce section, a meat counter, and even a coffee bar. Next time I visit, I'll definitely take the time to browse.

Pricey of course, like a Whole Foods, and the quality is solid and fair for the location and convenience. It's dog friendly, even to well-behaved large dogs. If your dog isn't well-behaved, please don't ruin it for the rest of us...lol.
Staff is helpful and friendly, selection is awesome for being a neighborhood place, and for me, living 3-4 blocks away, the worst thing about it is I always buy way more than I intended, and then have to carry it all home while walking Beaux...I got him saddle bags so he can help...lol.

This place has a little bit of everything you can't find anywhere else. The hot plates and precooked meals are killer.

Every trip here is an adventure. You never know what you will find on offer from local delicacies to National favorite brands.

The beer cooler is particularly nice if you walk over here in the summer time and you have swamp bottum... If you know what I mean.

I love grocery stores. Though this isn’t my favorite Robért, it’s easily the closest one to home and I’m in and out of here all the time. That hot bar is such a fine spot for grabbing a few tasty fried things to bring home and use for a fancier feast than I’d have otherwise enjoyed. As long as that fried catfish is fresh and fried shrimp is in on bar, I’m going to keep enjoying my quick trips for crunchy treats.

Fine selection and quality of products. The quality and service is worth any extra you may spend. My go to place in NOLA.

Robert is my neighborhood supermarket. A little bit higher end, but always well stocked and a very helpful staff. Their salad/hot bar is always excellent. High quality meats and produce. They also often have sales on meat, you just have to watch the specials. Roberts was badly missed after Katrina. I'm so glad it's back.
