This market is awesome, it has everything you could want, and then some. The tea selection is out of this world and they have Dong Phong baked goods so you don't have to go out of your way to the god awful east. They also have other stores in the entry way that are pretty cool, please check this place out if you haven't. Only bad thing about this maket is the smell, otherwise great place to shop.

Great variety of Asian groceries, excellent produce (easily best in town) and a wide and superb selection of beer, wine, and liquor. By far the best beer and liquor on the Westbank. They also have lots of home goods like dishes and kitchen implements , cleaning and paper goods, middle eastern foods, Hispanic foods, meat and fish, and an area that makes fresh sandwiches and some fresh but packaged foods/meals. Really awesome, and stayed opened after Hurricane Ida too, which was a life saver. Truly a gem and an awesome resource. Very grateful to have such an awesome place available.

Great experience shopping at Hong Kong Food Market. Got Choy (vegetables) here. This is the only place I have seen it since moving into New Orleans.

Such a large store! Great variety and pricing. I had been hearing about the market for so long and finally got to experience it. I will likely need to go again to look even deeper into what they have, but what I saw, was awesome. So glad to stumble upon potato starch at a very inexpensive cost. As someone who avoids gluten, I was pleased to see so many things that indicated if it was gluten free or made in facilities that process gluten. Definitely an adventure for the books!

Some other items I bought were spicy (Sriracha) mayo, sesame seed oil, Thai sweet tamarind, chayote, oyster mushrooms, small bok choy, Thai bananas, red pearl onions, Chin Chin sugar free jasmine green tea, black chocolate, rice vermicelli, tapioca starch, and deglet noor pitted dates. Looking forward to the next chance to go.

If you have any love for Asian food and ingredients, this is the place for you. It is a treasure trove of items that aren't easily found elsewhere and they have some spanish and other international ingredients too. All for pretty cheap too. Definitely going to come back here often

Authentic market, everything is really cheap which probably explains all of the good reviews - keeping the prices down is really bringing in the customers. I never shop but every time I come here my gf like omg it’s so cheap, I guess that’s good? There’s some interesting stuff in there and it smells but it’s definitely an authentic market.

I love this market! The inventory is exotic and plentiful. There are many fresh, organic products. I will definitely be back!

Pretty good selection of Asian ingredients that you can't typically find at a regular supermarket. They are also Building up a good selection of alcohol and craft beers. Defiantly worth a stop here if you never been.

We really love coming here. The sandwiches are delicious and there are so many interesting things to buy.

I love this Parker. They always have the best ingredients. And a lot of things you won’t find at your local grocery. The prices are reasonable. And the staff is friendly.

Best place in the city for anything Asian cooking related. Excellent produce and seafood selection. Go in and to the right side to the counter for the best banh mi in town and made fresh on a fresh made bun.

Hong Kong Mkt is the best. They have so many Asian household staples and a great variety of produce, fish, meat, pantry items and dried goods, spices, housewares and they even have banh mi baguettes! 🥰 It is one of the few places in the city to get Korean essentials my husband and I miss from living in Korea. I love the extensive variety of Vietnamese groceries… going to Hong Kong Mkt is always a fun treat! ☺

Great veggies and freshest fish in town. They seem to run out of some regular stuff very often though. Chinese Celery, bean sprouts and leeks are always a 50/50 chance, which is weird. Someone needs to modernize the order and inventory process...

The best asian market in new orleans! You can get lunch, shop.. they have just about everything for your shopping needs. Very good selection of soju and sake.. very pricey though..

the Korean BBQ joint in the front is great. as far as the market you can't beat the prices. and the bbq pork bahn mi is to die for. $5.50 with tax

Although I haven't experienced the other Asian markets in NOLA, this one is probably one of the best in the area. To find better you've got to drive to Houston. They know Vietnamese food, because they are. But they've got many other Asian delicacies too plus some other cultural stuff. All the freshly prepared foods are authentic, and they've got one of the best selections of produce in the country. (Philly, NYC, Houston to compare) and many of the specialty items most Americans don't know what to do with. (Thinking about balut)

Huge and pretty well organized. This place has a fabulous selection of groceries from around the world. They also have some great fresh produce. The beer and wine selection is amazing, too. My favorite thing there though, is the fresh pandan waffles. A woman makes them up front to order and they are hot, fragrant, full of coconut, and delightfully green.

Hong Kong is the best grocery store in the world. The selection of beer is really good. They have some inputs that you won't find anywhere else. Also, they sell these Chinese sweetbreads that are to die for. The cashiers are very friendly. The store has its own bookstore and bubble tea spot. Huge selection of fresh fish in the back that are killed and gut in the store. It's a very neat store.

Love this place you can purchase a wide variety of aisian products from fresh seafood,meats and other staples to create delicious exotic meals 😋 😀 so with this being said I give them a 10+ YOURS TRULY KARL SANDERS 😀
