We were checking out and my 3 year old was putting his hand on the loading belt. She noticed this before us and the cashier politely told him that he could hurt his hand if he kept doing that. Our son took this as she was mad at him and got sad. The cashier felt really bad and did everything she could to cheer him up. I just wanted to publicly recognize Shanuja for going the extra mile to cheer up our son. Excellent job keeping people safe and cheering up a young boy....she was so polite about it.

Always clean. Deli department is another story. It is very difficult to get someone to help you. They would rather go to the back when they see you coming. And if you happen to catch them, they make you stand there and wait. This has happened 3 times. Not very good customer service.

We purchased a last-minute birthday cake from their deli/bakery. The cake was chocolate with purple buttercream frosting. It was DELICIOUS!! Everyone kept asking where we bought it. Also, their Coca Cola distributor had a big watermelon display made from Coca Cola boxes in the front of the store; from the right angle it read SUMMER too. Cool stop, great cake!!

Super clean, great brands you trust. Fresh and lots of reasonably priced items, exotic local things as well!

The pharmacy is smaller than the bigger chains, but it has the lowest prices and quickest technicians in town... hands-down. Walgreens was charging me $180 for a 30 day prescription, and the young, dark-haired Winn-D tech gave me a link to a manufacturers coupon (not a discount card program) that brought it down to less than $30!

I love to buy seafood from winn Dixie especially Dungeness & Alaska King crabs, the run some good BOGO sales ,the store is cool & clean ,they have good takeout food & the staff is friendly & helpful .

My favorite Winn Dixie.
Very clean, well organized and all departments have fresh products. Associates are always willing to help customers if needed and are very friendly. Cashiers are kind, accurate and bag your merchandise accordingly.

Fresh fruit and vegetables. Wide variety of items. Great bakery items, and the apple pie is delicious. Also, their croissants are the best compared to other grocery stores in my area.

All your grocery needs are found at one location. Clean Store Friendly staff reasonably priced items. You earn points every time you spend money at Winn-Dixie it all adds up. Good deal.

Like the buy one get the second item free , Like been able to use my Humana food Card there for senior citizens, Like going there there's more than one lane open with a cashier and they are so helpful and kind very polite , always pleasant with a smile 😊 this makes my day , they don't bring there problems to the Job. The cashiers come to Winn Dixie to do their job and they shows it by their actions , Thank You :

+Boiled crawfish is well seasoned. Not too salty. Not too bland.

+Clean. Products are not in incorrect spot.

+ Parking lot was clean of debris made by uncustomer like people.

+More than one register open

I've always enjoyed the friendly & helpful staff of My local Winn Dixie. Today while shopping I overhead the announcement for FRESH CRAWFISH $4.99lbs. I had to try them out being that elsewhere was $7.99lbs. The flavor was really good & it wasn't too hot for My enjoyment. Thanks WD!!

This particular store is on Wall Blvd, just off Belle Chase Hwy(LA 23).

The store has an excellent bakery, meats, seafood, deli and the floral arrangements are exquisite.

The staff works hard to keep the place humming like a fine tuned machine and they are always eager to please.

Winn Dixie had some amazing deals on Holiday Food. Large Fresh Shrimp $3.99 a pound, Turkey 79¢ a pound, Spiral Ham $1.79 , and more. They are also keeping up with extreme cleanliness and friendly as usual.

Always helpful and polite. Always have what I need. Thanks for restocking CHEK drinks in diet.
