The Vermillion special, based on the parish, was wonderful. Fried catfish over cheesy grits with shrimp. Devine. Highly recommended!!!

One of my two favorite coffee shops in New Orleans! The other, Treme, has spectacular espresso but Who Dat has them beat in the food and service department hands down! Our party of three ordered crab cakes benedict, fancy quiche with crab and shrimp, and a veggie omelette. This breakfast can’t be beat, yall. You could go wait an hour in line at Molly’s if you really wanna do the tourist thing, but trust me the food here is much better!

This is a great corner coffee shop with coffees, tees, cocktail coffees, breakfasts, fruit and baked goods. Huge variety. Incredibly friendly staff. Found it second day of vacation and went back at least 4 times.

Came here for breakfast. I had the catfish bene, but instead of on toast, I had it on a bed of grits and they happily accommodated my request.

The fish was absolutely delicious. Light but crunchy and seasoned very well.

Can’t wait to come back and try other items on the menu.

It was a vibe food was good I had like a egg omelet pie and the corn cakes I wish they would've had the option to add oysters in the omelet other than that everything was candy 🏁✨

We stopped by for an early lunch on a Sunday. Place was pretty busy, mostly local crowd. There was a bit of a wait, but as soon as the food came out, you could definitely tell it was made fresh to order. Burger and Patty Melt were huge and tasty! It's one of those things that you shouldn't eat all at once, but you do. We opted for the side salad with the red pepper vinaigrette. Sooo good!

We are sooo happy we came here! Service was wonderful. The food is off the chain - had crab & crayfish cake with eggs Benedict, grit & and their special of the day - aubergine layered with cheese & and incredible shrimp sauce. And if you’re Aussie looking for good coffee, we really enjoyed our cold pressed coffee’s with milk 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽

Best place for breakfast in the Marigny. The Crabbe Benne is delicious, love the Boudin benne special too. Chicken fried steak is superb.
Great selection of drinks (the best coffee) and especially love the white almond Russian. .
Staff are always lovely and friendly.
Been coming here for years and it's always incredible.
One of my favourite places in New Orleans

Kept my breakfast simple this morning, but Marigny has many unique, eclectic spots for coffee and breakfast. Eleven to be exact. Who Dat is the jewel of these experiences. Situated on the corner just down from the fantastic Peter and Paul Hotel, it welcomes you with outside seating with large umbrellas, a placard of the specials of the day and a door inside to more seating as well as a fully stocked display of delicious pastries, cakes, fresh fruit and a fantastic coffee bar with no detail unattended.
The stations from host to cooks to waiters, barista and service staff are all attended by long time employees. A sign of quality management. The food is well thought out from basics to New Orleans specific items. The coffee is of the finest quality. Absolutely satisfying from the simple to the intricate. They get it right. Even the average, plain coffee is special. Even the decaf. Absolutely perfectly prepared and served by attentive waiters that have personality, skill and are fun.
Being a tourist you can expect a delightful experience. Being a local you can expect your selections and names to be remembered.
This is a well run place full of laughs and characters you’ll remember just like the coffee and cuisine. A wonderful find in a perfect place.

A true New Orleans treasure. The food is outstandingly delicious. The server was the most genuinely friendly person we’ve met in NOLA. In fact, the entire team was so nice. The star of the show however, is the homemade jellies. Please make these available for online ordering! I’ll buy a case! 😍😍

Great experience here! Our waiter Drew was super attentive to us. We were seated immediately upon arrival "outside seating" and even though we didn't have reservations "spur of the moment " they found a perfect spot for us! First off we ordered the Bloody Mary! What a burst of refreshing energy packed in that cup garnished with veggies! For breakfast we enjoyed the chicken fried steak with potatoes. So delicious with whole cloves of garlic and onions delicately tossed in. Weather was perfect nice and cool... out of many visits to NOLA, this one was in my top 10!

Awesome atmosphere and drinks right around the corner from our room at Old Towne Inn. The Irish monk was an especially great way to start the day.
Great staff with a chill vibe like hanging out with friends. Full case of baked goods and a varied menu to make everyone happy.
Outdoor seating attracts plenty of k9 patrons and the wait staff love to share treats.

A must for any visitor to our fine destination city. Craig has created a cornor spot that is great for so many dinning and event occasions. I personally had my last birthday there while the Easter bar crawl went by, so eating what I know is the best burger I've ever had made my day rememberable. Being a proud local business owner myself, AREA51GALLERY - I get my burger fix often. You should too.

Had the corn cakes with bacon bits and creamy egg - nice dish but on the heavy side! Service was excellent and we enjoyed our food.
