Awesome little Goth bar in the French Quarter! The venue is small but very well decorated and the bartenders were friendly and sexy! The atmosphere is provided by the customers by means of a jukebox! Which meant we got to choose the music which was appreciated by everyone! When I was fone with my selections other patrons were asking me to choose more selections. They had over 5o bands and more then 300 songs to choose from. Great selections and variety make it easy to find something for your tastes! The beers here were affordable and it really is worth checking out. Really enjoyed the place and people. While were there there wasnt a wait to get in which was also nice! Spent a decent amount of time here with a new friend from Spain made earlier in the evening. Who also seemed to enjoy themselves as well! This is one of several dark options when trying to enjoy the night!

Great atmosphere! The Dungeon doesn’t allow pictures but the other posts are accurate. The bar tender is pretty amazing. Service is friendly and the jukebox is great for throwback hits.

Metal music, people in cages, but it was hot as heck in there. Turn on some air. Are we supposed to feel like we are in hell?

We stayed and had a drink and saw some nether regions. Overall A+

if you’re a spooky weirdo, this is the place to be. My husband and I stayed upstairs for the most part. They played great music and our bartenders the two nights we went were phenomenal. I had so so much fun.

The theme of the place is awesome. You can't take photos inside, and I think that's a good thing. You have to see it for yourself. If you're in New Orleans, check it out. It was fun. Also? The jukebox had a great list to pick from. It wasn't just streaming songs from the internet, which I thought was great.

The bar itself isn't big. So get ready to be comfortable shoulder to shoulder. But everyone in there was kind and friendly, bartender and door man included.

I won't say I was overserved, because I was drunk going in there already. That said, the drinks were great. The bartender was quick to make suggestions and knew what questions to ask to figure out what we would enjoy.

This place is a must.

The vibes are immaculate! The cocktails were delicious and I included one side of the menu. The staff are kind and a tarot reader on site. Also a kitty on-site! <333

A fun little bar with a great theme and an awesome jukebox. Just follow the rules and don't take pictures. Me and my gf used texting to talk over the loud music and we didn't get yelled at about pictures.

The Dungeon is exactly the sort of place I used to go when I still lived in New Orleans, and as a former local it was awesome. Drinks were super reasonable, the bartender on the second floor was fast and professional, and the bouncer was quick and polite. 10/10 will go back next time I'm in town.

Dark & mysterious… so, heads up, you are not allowed to take pictures inside… I see there are pics, so that might be new. It is a great tucked away divey, late night bar for when all others are closed. It is definitely a dungeon vibe with loud music and big speakers in the second floor. The bartender we met was very friendly.

Loved this bar so much that I visited twice on my trip to New Orleans. I love a good themed bar. The music selection on the jukebox is pretty perfect.

This place been popping after midnight before I had my first pube! The locals go here to here rock n roll deep dirty south style. No Cinderellas here, AFTER Midnight ONLY!!!!!

In 1976, the bar was decorated with 1960's psychedelic art. To go upstairs, you climbed a ladder not set of stairs. I still have my membership card. 😎

Super fun themed bar! No pics or videos inside but totally worth a stop friendly staff but it is small so a small group!

It was... Interesting. Definitely for a specific crowd. Drinks were good, especially the chastity belt, but it certainly is worth experiencing once.

There’s a mirror upstairs to check for vamps. Be wary. Also this guy tried to take a picture and they shut the music off to reprimand him like lil school boy.

Really fun drinking environment and friendly staff. Would recommend if you want somewhere off the beaten path.

Great experience! Wonderful staff! We went 2 nights in a row cause we couldn't get enough. The decor was super cool and creepy. It's like walking into a secret ally way and finding an awesome Gothic occult style world on the other side. The place was a bit small but that made it feel more close knit and cozy compared to the general feel of bourbon street. Great drinks and service. Loved the music and general vibe. Kyle the bouncer was amazing! Super fun and friendly. He was really great at maintaining the safety and general good vibes for everyone. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend a visit!

Awesome hole in the wall place. If you like metal, this is the place to be
