Dr. Watkins and her staff are just awesome! My five year old pup swallowed two socks that became lodged in his stomach. Dr. Watkins did not rush him into surgery, but eliminated all other possibilities without putting the puppy at risk. Once she verified her findings she immediately took the time necessary over a weekend to find the right surgeon to perform the extractions. Her services go way beyond being and exceptional Veterinarian, she has a true love and passion for the animals and their families. Thank you Dr Watkins, i am so grateful to have you as our Vet!!!

I have been taking my four dogs and two cats to VCA Hartland Animal Hospital for the last year. The Vets are all exceptional with their care and always explain the treatment options. The techs are always gentle when caring for my animals. The front staff always is friendly when I check in or call. I couldn't ask for a better Vet office to take my fur babies to.

Dr. Layer is probably the most knowledgeable and caring vet I've taken my furbabies to in over 30 years. I've been coming here for over 7 years the staff are all very caring and compassionate. I drive a little longer to get here but it's totally worth it.

Love love VCA Hartland. They've taken such great care of our senior dog. He just recently had to have a benign tumor removed, and they took amazing care of him. I cannot recommend this place enough!

The VCA staff, technicians and doctors have been beyond amazing in accomodating us and caring for our sick kitten. The quality of care has been amazing. We highly recommend VCA for any/all pet services.

Sadly, we decided it was time to put down our very senior dog-she was swas having trouble breathing and suffering. The staff was caring and empathetic - and so gentle with our dear Sophie...they've been taking care of her for years...Thanks to you all. You made a hard day much more bearable.

Our 16 year old cat became ill and we knew that we had to put him down! Devastated beyond belief, we walked in with Black Jack and they all were so caring, compassionate and gave not only our cat, but us as well -TOP NOTCH CARE.

I have been going to this clinic for many years with many pets the entire staff is great.

Very professional, polite and caring with my animals. I have all 4 of my babies who go here and they take extreme measures to make sure they are healthy and safe. I only knock off one star because i have to wait 10-15 minutes after arriving to be able to call in because the lines are ALWAYS busy.

We brought our cat here because she was sick, and having accidents. One of the girls was very rough with her carring box, and I felt like it put a lot of stress on kitty. We also had to leave her for a urine sample, but they didnt try to pull any urine until we checked back in with them. I also felt like I wasnt given very good direction on what to do next. They told us that she had a thyroid issue, but didnt explain the treatments. So I had to call and ask about it, and set up a follow up appointment to get more details. We were given more info on the treatments at that time, and went with food instead of medicine. I just felt like they thought I wasnt going to do anything about the thyroid because she was an older cat, and I felt a little neglected with the lack of info.

Apparently they have all the business they need. Scheduled an appointment for 8:30am as my dog started sneezing. Sat in the parking lot for 20 minutes, and was asked to continually wait. Saw only one dog be taken in. Asked if I could leave the dog and come back in an hour, the uncompassionate person reiterated a "company policy". Even though they knew there was a time constraint again no problem solving or concern. If my dog's issue was not concerning, please let me know. I'm not a stay at home "dog mom" so trying to work within the time that I booked. Four Season's was much more accommodating.

Have left a voicemail twice over the last week and messaged them on line about my dog's ear infection and still have not had a return call.

Lost allvets they have no idea what they are doing staff unfriendly rude especially one lady
