Called Ostrom with needing my drain freed up. They came in a very timely manner plus they were very professional and informative. I appreciate the information up front and that’s exactly what they did. More work was needed for a later date and they explained everything nicely about it. Job well done.

Josh H. did an excellent job fixing our hot water reserve tank. He was very professional, explained all my options and was very clear on pricing. Very highly recommended and will definitely call Ostrom for all my plumbing needs.

I knew nothing about the oil boiler in my new home. The boiler is around 30 years old and there was no heat in the baseboard heaters. Take a look at the pics!!! Rachel was absolutely the best person for the job. She came out same day, did an inspection, told me that it looks pretty good for its age, did the work and now its fixed! I have never in my life had the level of customer service from an HVAC technician that Rachel provided. She took her time, explained everything to me, even going into detail on how to do it myself if I wanted to do it. She was a joy to spend the afternoon with. I will call Ostrom for all of my future home system needs.

Toby is nice, professional, knowledgeable and effiency. He took pictures of what he need to fix, called and asked me about the bill and let me know the duration of the project. I can't complain anything about his wonderful job.
I called for no heat and Ostrom sent Toby to my business within 1 hour and recovered the heat in just 2 hours. Ostrom deserved 5 stars and Toby deserved a pay raise.

Needed to replace a 27-year old unit. Called Ostrom, and they sent Greg out on the same day. He spent a couple hours thoroughly analyzing our current configuration and compiling a list of options. Greg was very knowledgeable and flexible in answering my questions, and ultimately we came up with a plan.

The next day, Darin and a small crew arrived promptly and knocked the job out. They did a fantastic job. Darin was again very knowledgeable and professional in explaining the process, setting expectations, and keeping things on track. When all the work was done, he took the time to walk me through the new installation, answer questions, and then follow up a couple times to make sure.

From start to finish, my experience with these folks was nothing short of perfect. Someone answered my web inquiry with a phonecall in less than an hour, got someone to me the same day, and we were able to wrap up an install with a great crew the next day. The county inspector praised the work they did, too.

I highly recommend Ostrom.

I called on a Monday because our 26 year old water heater developed a leak. The dispatcher said the earliest they could get out was Wednesday, but Tuesday morning I got a call that a technician would be out a day earlier. The technicians showed up and quoted me the upfront price right there and went to get the new heater. They were out of stock so their rep drove the new heater in from Blacksburg. They arrived at 1100 and by 1430 they were finished up. Everything went great.

Richard H, was well spoken well educated in his industry clean and neat very informative my Wife and I were very impressed! In no time a quote and installation all in one day. Water softener and filter installed and old removed. Ostrom is the way to go thanks.

Jordan and Crew for Ostrom provided above and beyond customer service. My family experienced a natural disaster and they found away to fit me in same day and get me set up. Called a plumber previously who did disappointing work. We called Ostrom to fix that job and do some additional work. Dustin and Andrew from Ostrom arrived on time and were consummate professionals. They were knowledgeable and experienced. They maintained a clean workspace. Would highly recommend Ostrom.

Jordan and his team recently wired power to my detached garage. The work was prompt, efficient and carried out professionally. They were open to my suggestions and ideas and seemed to genuinely care about how their job would have an impact on our home long-term. They were great with my dog too! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

After a dishonest contractor overcharged me for subpar work, Jesse and Tyson fixed everything and explained everything they were doing. They were efficient and personable while working. I will request them in the future and recommend them to others.

Christian was very pleasant when he did his exam of our furnace and heat pump system. He took photos and gave us options which we decided to have the work done . He was prepared to do the work needed that day. He listened to our concerns and went back and tweaked our motor speed to get more air volume from our heater. He also cleaned out a line that had sludge in it to make the air unit work more efficiently. We were pleased with his work and he was very courteous. We are also pleased with the customer service department who condo kept us updated on his arrival time and when the technician couldn’t make it on the original date due to jobs that took longer than expected, the customer service department called us and set another appointment immediately. We had purchased the service plan and are quite happy with Ostrom!

Jordan and Brandon were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. They came in gave me an estimate and relocated light switches from a wall I had removed out that day and came back later that week to install 2 outlets in our new kitchen island. Could not have asked for more. That did a great job and had a fast turn around time. Would absolutely recommend to friends and family.

I’ve been a home owner since 1987, but it wasn’t until a major plumbing meltdown in 2019 that I had the good fortune to find Ostrom.

Since then, I’ve used them for all my plumbing, electrical, and HVAC needs. This month, they completed an extensive rewiring of our 1929 home.

Dan and his crew were wonderful and did an amazing job. Dan could teach a Master Class in collaboration and customer service. Before starting any work, he did a thorough, hands-on review of all our electrical systems, developed three different options for upgrading, patiently answered our many questions, and was respectful of our opinions and choices. We could not have asked for someone better to work with.

Everything that we requested was completed on time and on budget, with minimal mess. Every member of the team was very professional, courteous, and respectful of our house and our belongings, and demonstrated the high level of competence and skill that we’ve come to expect from Ostrom employees. We were extremely happy with their work.

In writing this review, I struggled to find the words that adequately describe this company and its employees. Words like outstanding, exceptional, extraordinary, and first-rate come to mind, but still fall short in capturing my experiences with this wonderful company over the past five years.

Josh and Tyler gave a fair estimate for our two jobs (a toilet repair and an outdoor spigot replacement) and then worked efficiently on the two jobs, taking time to demonstrate the repairs were complete. Josh also gave me good advice on how to prevent the issue with the outdoor spigot in the future. I thought the price was fair, and the service friendly and capable. Definitely recommend!

Jesse and Adam were true professionals.! I liked that Ostrom kept us up to date about the time of arrival and the picture was a plus on whom to expect at the door.
I was wondering why they kept doing rock, paper, scissors to see who had to do the work. But they were able to get the work done quickly and (most importantly) correctly. It was fun to see if they were going to finish before the rain arrived. I asked for the wet drywall to be removed, and they were more than happy to accommodate and they took all the trash. Rachel did an AMAZING JOB ON MY AC UNIT. She was prompt and informative of what the problem was on my unit. After unknowingly purchasing a complete train wreck of a property from some incredibly unskilled and unethical house flippers and their shady realtor relatives? Then experiencing trying to find an honest and affordable repair companies in the Roanoke area. All we can say is 🙌Thank the good Lord🙌 that we found Ostrom. Because we suddenly had major repairs to all major systems. Plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. Some of which could have gotten someone killed. Ostrom were an absolute God☝send. Who I'm just not sure we would have made it through without. They recognized the seriousness of the situation, did the jobs very quickly, and found financing options that worked for our family.
