The staff is super friendly and efficient. Food is amazing! The Crippler is too big for me to eat as a sandwich but it's not a gimmick. Everything in this monster is delicious on its own. I'll always try to find a way to stop here when I'm traveling in that direction. The hour detour is worth it.

If you're coming here get the biscuits. They sell sides but the star of the show is in the name. Everything is reasonably priced and honestly I ordered 2 and could have only eaten 1 and been stuffed! I've eaten biscuits and gravy at cracker barrel and usually come away regretting my decision. This ain't no cracker barrel gravy, it did not just feel like thick flour, it has FLAVOR. If you have a morning to stop by and you're feeling peckish this will hit the spot. I got the biscuits and gravy and my husband got the biscuits with sides. I shared my gravy because I'm nice, but honestly next time he's on his own. 5 🌟

The food is always delicious and filling. A wide array of biscuit options as well as a few standards for the "boring" people 😜

I highly recommend the Jezebel biscuit. The gravy is also delicious. I pair any biscuit with hash browns and fried apples.

Only downside is the place is small, so it can be hard to find a spot to sit during peak times. There is now some outdoor seating as well.

Try the loaded grits! Spice it up with some Satan's Snot 😈 (my husband is paying for it now 🤣). Sausage gravy was well-seasoned, which I loved. Definitely a top favorite of mine!

The food here is absolutely amazing, I came once with a friend and we ate inside the restaurant and did another time as a to go order. I had the bacon egg and cheese biscuit and the grits, whew the best thing I’ve ever eaten. I honestly plan on eating everything on the menu at least once.

The two cons are parking-there is barely any spots available for such a busy spot. And the ambience can be overwhelming, it can pretty crowded and there’s limited seating and the staff yells out names for orders…is that going to stop me from going back? Absolutely not but hopefully this will prepare out of towners like myself!

Definitely worth a stop for a meal. Generous portions and the biscuits are the best. Homemade toppers like jam and hot honey are available. The biscuit sandwiches are huge.

Cozy atmosphere and delicious food! The biscuits are huge and a great selection and variety combinations. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken and it was amazing but so hot! Our party also had biscuit and gravy, Cotton Hammer biscuit and everything was tasty and fresh!

Always delicious and hearty food! Large biscuits - sausage egg and cheese is a perfect classic, Jezebel is a unique and fantastic combination of country ham, pimento cheese, and Jezebel sauce, cinnamon roll is another classic must-try, and fried apple biscuit is a sweet way to mix it up.

Where have you been all my life, or do I just need to eat out more? I haven’t found a single menu item that doesn’t knock it out of the park! You get large portions for the price, and the service is very fast. Very cool rustic feel with ample seating for a weekday morning. I’m concerned that there may be a wait for a table on the weekend, but around brunch time on a Wednesday was an ideal time to enjoy so amazing food!

Got the Cowboy Crippler, was somehow even more than expected. Both in flavor and quantity.

The staff are friendly. You order at the counter. They bring the food to your table. Food delivery is fast!

The restaurant is clean. The music is a pleasant eclectic mix.

My biscuit and sausage gravy was excellent. The gravy was far better than Hardee’s and Bojangles, and as good or better than what I make at home from scratch. The texture of their biscuit was one of the best I’ve ever had.

My wife was happy with her fried green tomato and bacon biscuit.

I tried mixing some of their ghost pepper sauce into part of my sausage gravy, which was unexpectedly good too.

We’ll be back for more.

If you are looking for an old fashioned made from scratch biscuit. These are yummy.

Biscuits were delicious and large. I had the Nashville hot chicken biscuit and it was delicious. Not too spicy but had enough of a kick. My wife had biscuits and gravy and they were very good too. The indoor seating is limited, so if there is a crowd you may end up taking the food to go/sitting outside weather permitting.

My wife mentioned she wanted a hearty, breakfast sandwich at 11am. Most fast food places shut down breakfast at 10:30, so I offered to go across town for Scratch. Haven't been in awhile, so I wasn't sure what to order.

Let’s just say that the Cowboy Scrambler Biscuit checked off all of her requirements. The biscuit was so big that we both got to eat a full meal from one sandwich. Even half a biscuit is larger than most fast food breakfast sandwiches.

Definitely a good choice to venture to for breakfast options.

Best biscuits! Fantastic morning breakfast. The inside gets busy on weekends. Take away available too! The biscuits are light and flaky and they provide jam and butter. Yum! Plenty of parking next door or within in easy walking distance on the street. Clean bathrooms.

Crazy good breakfast fare. Quaint little spot with an outdoor patio. Thank goodness, because it gets really packed if you come at peak hours. The sausage gravy is perfectly peppered and the biscuits are so light and fluffy, you forget you're eating carbs. One warning...The "hot honey" isn't just warmed-up honey, it's spicy honey. Not what I was expecting.

The best biscuits and gravy I have ever had big chunks of sausage. However when we went back the next day the gravy had too much salt so it's big hit or miss. The van outside gave me a chuckle.

Stopped in here on my way north back in August. Scratch has good biscuits and courteous staff. I got a jezebel biscuit and subbed the ham for fried chicken and they gladly let me sub—I think there was a small up charge. I also got the apple biscuit. Both biscuits were great and I would definitely stop by here again. I’ve heard they’ve got a good hot sauce and I’d like to try their po’ boys and other menu items.

I go here regularly. I can't help it. They sprinkle their gravy with crack it something. Their ginormous biscuits are fluffy on the inside and buttery crisp on the outside! And they have gravy, slightly peppery hot and delicious. The fried green tomatoes are perfect with a delicate, crispy batter, not soggy or doughy at all.

The problem is that I get so excited when the food arrives, I completely forget to snap a photo!!! Really? The cashiers and servers are pleasant and helpful. In fact, several different workers offered me a coffee or water while I waited on the arrival of my friends. Exceptional friendly service with consistently superior food!

Also, it's worth the drive up curb side service and delivery options!!!! Did I mention they have gravy?
