Walmart Supercenter

Strange enough this was one of the best out of town Walmart's I have ever gone to when visiting a city. It was the middle of the day and there was no crowd. The lines weren't long and there was an abundance of staff asking if you needed assistance (definitely a first). Store was well stocked and clean. Very easy to get in and out both the store and parking lot. Didn't have search for a parking space either.

Love coming here. Never had any trouble. Things could be a little more organized at time but when you have a ton of people coming and moving things everyday that could probably be hard at times especially when changing from seasonal things and getting ready for holidays and such.

Huge variety of products, starting from groceries, then home, garden, car, tools, electronics, clothes, toys and different sports products.
And of course big choice of different dort of meat. Today I picked some nice piece of beef (sirloin center cut). And it was awesome!!🥩😋👌🏻
Lots of goods with really good quality and at a reasonable price. Really recommend it. One may get everything one needs to buy in one single spot in town.😎👍🏻

James in tire and auto went above and beyond expectations. This man needs recognition and maybe even manager title. Treats people the way he would want to be treated!

The store is impressively clean and well-organized, offering a wide array of merchandise. It's been quite some time since my last visit, as I had previously found it disorganized and unappealing. However, during my recent visit two days ago, I was pleasantly surprised by the significant improvement. Kudos on the remarkable transformation! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Most employees are helpful but I swear it seems like every time I ask somebody for help they always say the same thing, they tell you that all I don't usually work in this area.

It's a corporation and I've not heard anything good about the way they treat their employees. Enough to know that I never want to work here or any location

Self checkout is not the answer. Having 30 check out lanes and only 3 cashiers at any given time is frustrating as heck

Depends on what you need. Always read reviews for high dollar items or even mid range

I'd like to see happy employees first and foremost. That's the first step

It was clean, not crowded at all. Found an easy parking space, got in and got out. I was pleasantly surprised for a Saturday morning.

I shopped mainly for personal items like Shampoo, Hair gel, Hand sanitizer, mouthwash, Kool aid, bread, batteries and ice cream.

The staff was helpful and items were easy to find. I was surprised how slow it was two weeks before Christmas

Great place to shop with an awesome selection of products and great service.

3 weeks ago my family was passing through the area & my daughter and I went to pick up a few things. There was a woman & man couple that kept following us & then trying to separating us to get to my 17 yr old daughter. After the 3rd time, we went to the dressing room staff and asked for help. Within 2 minutes 3 of the biggest men were there. They confronted the couple & made sure they left the parking lot. We were shaking as they helped us checkout, then to our car. They even made sure we weren't followed.

I can't say enough of how they helped us!!! Thank you for everything!!!

It made me very aware that this can happen ANYWHERE!!! I could have lost my daughter had I just dismissed that uneasy feeling. I'm so glad that the security guys took us serious.

It is convenient by having almost all we need. Would like more organic selection and variety.

I’m surprised I’m giving any Walmart 5 stars, but this the best one I’ve seen. Clean, stocked, and there were plenty of cashiers so there were no long lines.

Much cleaner and more quiet than other Walmarts besides Bonsack.

Came here be because I broke my glasses and desperately needed new frames. Vanessa in the vision center helped me replace the frame with my existing lenses, faster than a New York Minute. Very helpful staff and service.

I usually go to a closer Walmart but happened to be near this one due to an appointment. Decided to run in and look at their purses. Had a lot to choose from, took me a minute...walked out with purse and several, let's say 5, outfits for my baby doll granddaughter. Well laid out, friendly staff, lots of merchandise.

I like the Walmart experience in general and this is par for the course overall but I do think it's reasonably important that you be aware that this location is apparently slightly on the ghetto side compared to the Clear Brook Village location. I'm not at all suggesting anything unsafe about shopping here but the security presence, even upon approach from the parking lot is bumped up a notch, probably for good reason. About the cheapest non-promotional oil change in the Roanoke Valley and a nice selection of fishing gear too. Groceries yes, but price points are the drivers here, for brand names and particularly the Walmart private label (Great Value) stuff. Produce is okay but Kroger beats them on quality imho. YMMV

Very clean store, employees are VERY nice and helpful. My husband and I go here a couple times a week to get our furbabies food and treats, our groceries & to get odds and ends
