It was my first time at Carmax and was pleasantly surprised. It was very clean, the people were nice, and gave me a great offer on my car. They were quick through their process and had me out the door very fast. The online process was also very easy to use. I will definitely try them again in the future.

I loved it. I did the application online got approved last then a minute. I uploaded all documents that morning by the next day I was picking up my suv. The staff was so nice and friendly. I was there for an hour just to sign and go over everything.

I had completed much research prior to scheduling a test drive. I appreciate having the ability to research online and then going to the facility. This expedites the process of purchasing a car. When I got to the facility, the salesman was ready and I took the car for a test-drive. I did purchase the car. I had all documentation ready which made the car buying experience pleasant and completed within 2 hours.

I’m an old guy, 42 years old, and have nightmares of sitting at a dealership all day, haggling over the price of a car, and struggling through endless amounts of paperwork. I could not be happier I took the time to finance and purchase a vehicle using only my smart phone from CarMax. It was so easy. Everyone in every department was fantastic, and although it was virtual, mostly, it wasn’t at all impersonal once I finally arrived at Carmax to pick up the vehicle. It took me only 30 minutes. I highly recommend it.

Absolutely terrific to work with from the minute walking in to follow up contact after purchase. I found the vehicle with the options I wanted in like new condition at a price that was fair. The Frederick CarMax online listing was 100% accurate and I went in for a test drive. Phil, my sales consultant, was great to work with, knowledgeable of the vehicle, and in getting everything in order for the paperwork. Best of all, the process was extremely efficient and did not require the misery and back and forth games that can take hours and hours like the typical car dealership. Selling my vehicle was a very easy process. No surprises & no hiccups, everything went just as they say it would in their advertising. We were overall very satisfied with the buying experience at CARMAX. There would be one thing that could be better and that is if the information that you share with them early on in the buying process would be saved and they then could use that info to complete the paper work so you did not have to tell it over and over again. We like the vehicle very much and would highly recommend anyone to buy a vehicle there.

Buying a car at Carmax was the best car buying experience my wife and I have ever had. All of the staff members were respectful and personable throughout the entire process. I did not feel rushed even though everyone was staying past the time the store closed. Also, both my wife and I were given a bottle of water which we really appreciated.
