Hampton Inn San Antonio Stone Oak

Danell .. front desk and prior visit a large man just wonderfully pleasant and helpful… a lot! The room clean clean clean no odors, bathroom superb and room quiet #302…. The location and amenities just terrific and walkable. I hope management see’s this as I cannot speak high enough of your staff only to say if I still owned some businesses I would want to hire them…..best regards. And do book this hotel you will NOT be disappointed

The stay experience was good. Staff were kind and friendly. The only complain i would have is that the rooms were small for a Hampton. If you are arriving late for your reservation make sure to call and inform the hotel because they will cancel your reservation if you don't show up within the check in time without calling!. Location was very good.

Clean lobby, no funky hotel smell, the rooms were small but I wasn’t expecting huge rooms. They were immaculately cleaned. Located right off the highway so easy access. The breakfast is what really sold me. Omelette, sausage & potatoes. Oatmeal with topping options, variety of cereals, yogurts fresh fruit (apples, bananas, oranges) Variety of juices, coffee bar (available all day), variety of toasts/muffins. The waffle maker was the star of the show. Yummy waffles with topping options/syrups even whipped cream. Fully fed a family of four with two young kids. Plenty of seating. Parking was a little sketchy but I seen multiple cops in the area. Haven’t been this pleased with a hotel stay in a very long time.

Shout out to Mr. Waymand who took extra time to cook me some of them good smoked sausage for breakfast.

Due to a late night and jetlag, I arrived for breakfast 4 minutes before they close shop.

He went back into that kitchen and cooked some good smoked sausage to go with my breakfast since none remained.

It cost him 20 minutes of closing the breakfast area time to take care of me.

Now that's good customer service, and a great person!

We stayed at this location and didn't have a reservation and the front desk personnel Adam went above and beyond to help us he was very friendly and very helpful I give 5 stars to this individual great job Adam 👏

Loved this place, plenty of parking but kind of difficult to get to. We missed the entrance and had to drive around for a while because there's only one way in and one way out. Rooms are phenomenal. Breakfast amenities were wonderful.

Delicious hot breakfast variety: pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, muffins, fruits, juice and all day coffee. The rooms are big, super clean and cozy.

Not a 5 star hotel but rating 5 star because of the value, staff, etc.

Strengths-
1. Price was very good compared to other nearby properties.
2. Cleanliness was above par. It's an older property and could use a face-lift but it was very clean.
3. Hot breakfast with good options made kids happy.
4. Pool was surprisingly well kept and clean esp for an outdoor pool in a bit of the swimming offseason.
5. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful.
6. Good location with nearly limitless shopping and restaurants very close by.

Weaknesses were:
1. It's a bit outdated especially compared with nearby properties. However, the competition was also priced considerably higher.
2. Rooms are small. The room with two queens barely fit the two beds so was tight for family of four but we weren't spending much time in the room.
3. Property is small compared to new properties so don't expect many additional amenities.

Overall, this is a solid property for the price. It was a great resting spot for a few nights and I would def stay here again.

I ended up staying at this Hampton due to leaving another hotel that was very filthy. I was so thankful for the the great care that I received at this Hampton. The staff there was on point and went the extra mile to make my stay comfortable. House Keeping was extremely helpful. Ms. Deisy, house keeping, was very kind and courteous. And the people at the front desk, Alissa, Donald, and Jacob were all courteous as well. But it was just to me. I observed all of them treating people with the comfort people deserve when they come. It is my hope that these people are recognized for their sincere efforts to make people's stay there an unforgettable experience. Thanks guys.

Great staff, full cleaning service, amazing buffet breakfast with coffee, juice, waffles, bagels, muffins, eggs, sausage, potatoes and more.

Attentive front desk staff (Jacob was helpful!) and Daisy cleaned our room and organized it so well.

We did have a security issue which management is aware of and contacted police. At night, someone tried to get into our trucks storage box. We could hear it outside our window. We made a fuss and they left fast. We stayed four nights and never had another issue.

We would stay again! It’s an ideal location to the freeway, shops, church and family.

Oh my goodness I was thoroughly shocked by how great this place was! My family and I decided to take a last minute road trip and the moment we walked in, the staff on the night shift were extremely friendly and fun with great personality! Our room was very clean, the hotel itself was super clean and I've only been here for 5 minutes. Definitely happy I made the decision to stay here over an airbnb.

Good hotel to stay at for one night. The people at the front desk were friendly, the breakfast was not expensive like other hotels, the rooms were clean and a good size, the bathrooms were also clean and a good size. I never had a bad experience at a Hampton Inn they have good hotels.

Miss Amy and Little Miss Pretty Face Katelyn made my stay awesome! Both girls went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable and safe. Any needs or wasn’t were met. I can’t say enough about the beautiful Katelyn- she was happy to greet me every single day/time. My four day stay couldn’t be topped!!! Outstanding customer service from Katelyn. Absolutely 5 stars because of her and Miss Amy. Definitely stay here again!!!!

We spent 31 days at the Hampton Inn. The staff always made us feel at home. They strive to provide great service at all times. The room furniture seem a bit outdated but they made up for it with daily cleanliness in all areas of the hotel. The breakfast crew was friendly and always looking to provide great service and a sincere welcome to all guests. To the staff of the Hampton Inn... Thank you for making us feel at home.

We only stayed one night. We were extremely tired when we arrived. The lady at the front desk greeted us immediately. She was efficient, courteous and friendly.
The hotel was very clean.
The lady that prepared breakfast was Exceptional. She greeted everyone and offered to help. The breakfast menu at Hampton Inns doesn't vary much, but this attitude and service is rarely seen. Job Well Done! You brightened our day.

Comfy hotel with great and clean breakfast options. Bed felt so good first night then hard the next night. Check out Stouts pizza nearby- best pizza of my life in 7 states. Loved it, would return. So many snack options for an extra charge. Pool very small and not very private- would not use. Liked the surrounding area.

10/10 would recommend this hotel. The staff is wonderful. The hotel is in a quiet area close to dining and entertainment. The breakfast has great variety and is tasty. The breakfast staff on the weekends is phenomenal. You'll want to stay just to be greeted by the warmest, sweetest lady ever!
One caveat, the beds are super firm.

We enjoyed our stay and have stayed at this location several times now. We will be back!

What a great place! We've stayed here before but today at breakfast there was a wonderful woman doing the breakfast! Sheena (I hope I'm not butchering her sweet name) was such a delight! Sheena really changed the feel of the place. Breakfast was great but her helpful and sweet presence was the best part. The room is just fine as usual. No complaints!
