Academy Sports + Outdoors

Love Academy... I feel like it's super underrated when people think about buying shoes or clothes. I always find a ton of good stuff there, and I wear the clothes just about everyday. Shoes are low key really nice, but didn't see too many "nice" prices so don't go expecting value prices.

Overall Academy is fantastic and gas everything you need for outdoor sports, shoes and clothing. Unfortunately, this location didn't have the size I needed in sneakers. However, I'm still a loyal customer to this location.

This Academy was better than most of their stores . It was stocked with a lot of items other Academy's don't have. The shoe department had a really great selection especially the Brooks brand.

Great selection of sporting good items. Their shoe selection is nice and they have optioms for all sports from flip flops to goif shoes, running, walking, and everything in between. The staff is helpful, especially in the shoe area. Finding your size is sometimes easier by asking for help. They keep most of their stock on the show room floor. Plenty of great name brands makes this place an awesome stop for every sport- hunting to fishing and a great place to find equipment for any youth sport too.

Consider this my favorite store, I have been here since 2007 and use to buy steel toes work shoes (the brazos men's workhorse waterproof) these ones are really waterproof my feet will end up dry.
I like the boots (Dr. Martens Men's Industrial Steel Toe Wellington Work Boots) this model is the most I liked because is just slip on and boom let's go!
But these guys really rock, if I don't see my size just look for a salesman and he gets the ladder gets my right size or if they are out stock, they look up on the computer to see which store has, very helpfuland kind.

The employees place a weight lifting belts (4) apparently on the wrong rack. It said $34.95. I went to buy it, and it wrung up at $64.95. I took it back to find the lower cost one, but I couldn't.

So I approached an employee to show him, and he handed the belt to me telling me I get it at $34.95!!!

Liked it better as the old Academy much greater variety of merchandise -- used to go more often to see what was new and always ended up buying something --- wanted a box of ammo. Better prices online but wanted it now.

Clean, more organized the other Academy's, more variety of equipments, customer service was great, asked for something and they walk me where I need to be.

Went with my daughter. It eas really great. It has just about everything.
Service was great. Staff very friendly.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to let Aaryan shine. He was awesome and provided great assistance to me and my daughter while tracking down a shoe. He also stayed with us to make sure the shoes were the right fit, and if it wasn't, he was quick to hand over the next size up. Aaryan was awesome and should be commended for his fantastic customer service skills.

Good location shelves always stocked and helpful employees.

We are about to move to Oklahoma, so I am very glad I found this gem. 5* because this store has a wonderful plus size section. Never thought I would need it, but I'm SO glad it's there.

Academy is the best! They have massive selections and great prices. Always! They also have an extra 10% off now until July 4th for military and first responders. What a deal! I also shop around, but end up coming back to academy because no one beats their prices.

I placed an order for curbside before Christmas and I have to say I was extremely impressed with their speed of service! The items I ordered were packaged nicely and it was a smooth pick up. I loved how once you check in online a 10 minute countdown begins. During such a busy time I appreciate the ability to order online and have a smooth curbside experience!

This is a good Academy I always get my son a new bat and I got him a pool,catcher gear

Had some great deals on Black Friday. They had a gun safe on sale. I ordered it online and did customer pick up. They didn't have any left in stock. I talked to an associate and they had one by the registers that a customer decided not to buy and they had not put it back up. The associate sped up the pick up process since I was already there. Great customer service and this location.

Atmosphere was great! Employees were so helpful and nice!
