Candlewood Suites San Antonio N - Stone Oak Area

This place is excellent we got here last night and sleep like babies. The service was great! Lady at the front desk had a smile on her face the whole time even at 11:00pm, made us feel comfortable. And the room was great smells good and I checked out gym and laundry also clean I would definitely recommend Candlewood Suites San Antonio.

We stayed for a week because it was so close to where I needed to be. There was a kitchenette with all the utensils and full size refrigerator. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy. They're pet friendly which adds $15 a day but well worth it.

The staff was just as nice, helpful and friendly as they come.

I will be booking there again. Thanks for a great stay

I have stayed here for a couple weeks day by day and they have been so patient with me kept in the same room when they could have moved me. The front desk ladies were very nice and helpful and friendly. The gentleman came immediately to fix what I thought was a problem. The beds are wonderful. The housekeepers kept in touch with us. The best hotel experience I have had in my life

My family recently visited San Antonio to go to SeaWorld and stayed here. Couldn't ask for a better experience. The room was great, bed was comfy, everything was clean and didn't smell like mold like in some hotels. They have all kinds of kitchen appliances, games, books and DVD's you can borrow while you're there. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we needed extra towels too.

We had a fantastic stay! The staff are friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile. The hotel is clean and comfortable. It's not the Ritz, but it's not meant to be. We will stay here again when in San Antonio.

Awesome staff and Knowledge of what to do close by as far as a tracks in entertainment live music in bars and what places are good for dinner !!! Pool was clean ... room was clean and smelled great !!and hotel was very quiet at night so I got excellent sleep!!! No breakfast but they had a pantry to get snacks when needed ... parking lot and grounds were clean and neat !!! I loved my stay

I am in the military and just got back from being overseas to 4 years. Stayed at both Randolph AFB Inn and Lackland AFB Inn (Gateway Inn), and all I can say is that you will like them only if you have been homeless and been living in an alley for some time. Both places were infested with bugs (mosquitoes, ants, silverfish, beetles, crickets, erwigs). I had to take bleach spray to the showers because they were so moldy. So what does this have to do with Candlewood? Everything; I couldn't take another night of those places. We checked into Candlewood and the lady at the front desk was more than just helpful. She noticed the size of my family and got us a room on the first floor, centrally located to everything. Even after she gave us a discounted military price, later she called her general manager and got us and even lower price. The laundry is free with both traditional and front loader washers. Pool and spa are clean. Not sure if they designed it this way, but he outdoor gazebo/ free propane grilling area is located on the north side of the building so the hotel itself keeps the sun off you while grilling in the day. Free complimentary coffee around the clock. Decent WiFi speeds (much much better than the other fore mentioned places). Plenty of parking, and the lot is clean and well maintained. I wish I knew of this place upon arrival before I stayed at the other places. Oh, and the longer you stay the less you pay. We needed to stay in a hotel for awhile so that we could house hunt, and close on a home. For all those in the same boat as me, I would seriously consider this place.

My first stay, 9/13-15, was very pleasant. Great friendly staff. Clean room. Outstanding coffee. I would recommend to anyone.

We stayed one day at this location. We got to check in early, which was a big plus. We got our rooms close by (we rented 3). It was clean, the area is good. Would definitely stay again.

Had a great time there with my wife. Staff is very welcoming and courteous. Check in was very smooth and quick. Many nearby restaurants and parking is awesome. Highly recommended.

Great hotel, very comfortable and clean. The only complaint I had was the shampoo smelled like my great grandmother but other than that everything was fantastic!

Had a great stay here. It is near many retail shops and places to eat. I also stayed a few days at the JW Marriott nearby (for double the price) and wish I had stayed at the Candlewood my entire trip.

Very clean, great service, and location. The fitness center was fabulous!! Enough equipment for an hour long workout. The rooms were so clean and had more than enough for a long weekend.

The staff goes above and beyond the rooms are always so clean and comfortable I've been there 6 months plus highly recommend it I strongly believe other hotels should keep standards like candlewood

Loved this place except for the other customers NOT wearing mask and using elevator; but I always worry mine so I maintained the "be safe wear mask for yourself and for others saftey" rule.

Queen bed was comfortable....the room we booked was great...fridge...stove..microwave...sink..even pots and pans u can use if u want...smalle table and chairs and a recliner...bathroom was a good size and nice and clean...nice and quiet place..and also a gym in the hotel which has a variety of equipment and i had it alllll to myself....major plus for me 😉....

Must say we really enjoyed my stay here. Great place great people and definitely alot better than what the reviews says...
