I brought my 5m old kitten for a check up . I’m a new cat owner , I adopted my sweet Grace from Dallas animal shelter and had a few concerns. I called to make an appointment and they were able to schedule us in same day and accommodated my work schedule. From the very beginning to end we felt very welcomed . I’m a new cat owner so I had tons of questions both Grace and I are happy we found this vet , it’s very nice to feel welcomed ☺

I switched vet practices for our two 13 year old pups a year ago, after some problems at our prior vet. We had been dealing with some tough issues with Jada - inoperable cancer in her throat. Dr. Ellis immediately took her off of the pain meds previously prescribed because a potential side effect was inflammation, which was impacting her ability to breathe. We immediately saw improvement. Each of the vets we saw at VCA Preston Park over this past year for Jada and her brother Hoover, both of whom were elderly with issues, were thorough, caring, and very knowledgeable. I should have written this review earlier; what sprung me into action today was a handwritten condolence card from Dr. Ellis about Jada’s passing. It was so personal. Not only does the practice take excellent care of my pets, they care about how us owners are doing as well. Best vet practice EVER!

The vets and technicians are so lovely to my dog! I usually can find a spot when my dog needs to be seen. He’s been treated for several minor issues throughout his life there with positive outcomes. I recommend them!

This VCA was always my dogs second love. The staff treated her as if she was their own but Bo is good at stealing hearts. After boarding her here a week she still would have stayed there if she could. The vets are also very good at explaining not only options but what is going on with your fur baby. They do sell food and other things but they don't even try to oversell you unless you ask about it they won't bring it up. Care club is worth it 100% too it allows you to focus on keeping your fur baby healthy and not the price tag. Bo is going to miss you guys!

To be honest, the pricing is high but they are up front about options. The Vets and Staff are worth every penny. The staff is the SAME every time I go which says something about the practice.

I have been taking my dog here for three years, since he was a puppy, and I like them every time. I've had to visit for both normal visits and for emergencies. The staff handle both in a calm professional manner. You can really tell that the staff love the animals they work with.

I moved and I still come back to this vet because the vets and the tech are good people that I feel comfortable to have treating my dog.

The best vet care we could ask for and then some. They have cared for my dog for 9 years now and they treat him like family. Dr Soileau personally checks on him everyday as he is going through some crazy issues recently. Very quick in responding, best quality care and great staff. They make it easy for us.

If I could leave more than five stars, I would. Service is excellent every single time. We recommend Dr. Soileau, specifically. Her bedside manner is phenomenal and it feels like she cares about your pets as if they're hers. All of the vets and vet techs are thorough, kind and communicative. As a pet owner who has had to rely on VCA for their pets' critical/emergency care not once, but twice, I can confidently say that I hope I never have to go to another vet. Thank you, VCA!

This a great vet office. They are amazing with my dogs even my senior pet who has some problems being skittish. They are polite and always educating me on how to better my pets lives. They really care about what’s best for the animals here. I never feel like they are offering something just to drive my bill up.

I was in Dallas on business when my cat Piggy (Huckle) started vomiting and losing her appetite. A mother of a colleague of mine highly recommended VCA Preston Park Animal Hospital, saying she had been a client of Dr. Ellis for years. I was scheduled to leave Dallas in five days, and when I called for an appointment, I found he was unavailable during that time period. Discovering on the website, however, that he was the Medical Director from 1992-2017, I trusted that his team would be well vetted, so I made an appointment with Dr. Melissa Suarez.

Before I even saw the doctor, I was treated wonderfully by several different people at the front desk: Hayli, Lauren, Amy, and Monse. Hayli immediately made me feel welcome and well taken care of by booking my appointment and asking lots of questions about what was happening with Piggy. Lauren followed up via text with confirmation about the appointment; I asked her a question, which she promptly answered after consulting with Dr. Suarez. Amy called the day of the appointment to ask if I could drop Piggy off early so they could rush lab tests (Dr. Suarez saw I was leaving town in a few days and acted proactively), and I met Monse at the office. All four were incredibly friendly, informative, and wonderful first contacts for a new client.

The next person I met was Valerie, the veterinary technician. She picked Piggy up from me and went through a detailed written description of all the tests Dr. Suarez wanted to run, along with their prices. She answered all my questions quickly and was clear and compassionate with her descriptions.

Finally, I met Dr. Suarez when I went to pick Piggy up. She had a wonderful calm and confident demeanor that immediately put me at ease. She gave me her initial impressions based on the physical exam and promised to call the next day with the test results.

The next day, Dr. Suarez called early in the morning as promised despite Saturdays being extremely busy at the hospital. She spent a full 21 minutes with me explaining the diagnosis and treatment options, always keeping in mind I was leaving Dallas permanently on Monday. Not once did I ever feel she was rushed or in a rush, even - and especially - when I asked her questions. I ended the call feeling well informed, very well cared for, and confident knowing how to proceed.

It is always stressful and scary to take a sick animal to a vet, let alone one that is completely new to you in a city that is also new. I cannot thank Dr. Suarez and the team at VCA Preston Park Animal Hospital enough for taking such great care of Piggy - and of me. If you are lucky enough to live in the area and have an animal companion, you couldn't be in better hands with them.

We have three pets that we take to VCA and each of them has presented pretty unique challenges. The staff at VCA has never shied away from these challenges, no matter how complicated. We’ve seen Dr. Soileau more than the other vets, but all have been phenomenal. The office staff is also spectacular. Amy is an absolute gem. Everyone is communicative, friendly, professional, prompt and knowledgeable. They go the extra mile for you and your pet every single time.

I took my cat and dog here for the first time last week and I was so pleased at how kind and attentive the employees were at the front desk as well as the vet techs who took care of my pets during our visit.
They also happen to be located right up the street from my apartment so the convenience factor was a plus too! They did not seem to be over booked and I hardly had to wait at all to be called in by the vet techs. Very clean and well organized facility that made my animals feel safe and put a smile on my face. I highly recommend you bring your animals here if you want them to be treated right and feel comfortable during their vet visit!

Took our 2 pups in as new patients and had an absolutely wonderful experience. One of our dogs doesn’t do well with others, and the staff worked with us to make sure he was taken care of as well as the other animals there. Brandy(Brandi?) was an exceptional vet tech, and Dr. Murray couldn’t have been any sweeter answering my millions of questions. I think I was more anxious than the dogs, but by the end, I felt totally at ease (can’t say the same for the dogs, who needed a nap the second we got home haha). I was very grateful the staff was upfront about the cost of everything and made sure we were a part of the decision making when it came to what shots our dogs needed and what additional treatment (X-rays etc.) would cost. There was no pressure to do anything extra either. Thank you, Preston Park VCA and Dr. Murray! We can’t wait to be back!

First time visit was an emergency, our regular vet was not in office and they got me right in. Unfortunately I had to put my 11 year old English Bulldog down but could not have asked for a better experience. EVERY single employee in this office is compassionate and went above and beyond my expectations. When I’m ready for another pup I’ll be coming here!

About a month ago, my 18 year old cat was choking on a piece of food and foaming at the mouth, unable to breathe. Scared to death, we brought her to VCA’s emergency department not knowing what to expect, as we just moved to the area and we had never used a VCA clinic before. ALL of the employees present were incredible to us, and the doctor that helped us went above and beyond to make sure our Nova girl was okay. The price for the ER visit and full testing was on the slightly higher end of visits I’ve had to other clinics in other cities, but it was reasonable, and with vet care I truly believe you get what you pay for. I’d gladly spend my dollars here over and over again. The staff was accommodating, caring, patient (even when I was in hysterics), and above all, kind. I would recommend them to anyone. Thank you for the work you do, VCA!

We have been taking our dogs to VCA (this location) for many years and have consistently had great care provided. The follow up, even on a Sunday is great and my wife and I could not be happier. Last check in with them was July 2016, and service was great!

We have been seeing Dr. Ellis for 25 years and couldn't be happier with him and VCA Preston Park Animal Hospital. Very caring and compassionate staff, especially when we had to say goodbye to our last kitty 2 years ago. We are very happy to have Luna, the newest addition to our family, under Dr. Ellis's care. We know she is in good hands!

We took our dog here on yesterday and we left there feeling pleased on how the staff/veterinarian and even clinic management went over and beyond to make sure our dog received the care he needed. Thanks to all of you at VCA Preston Park from The Grant Family!

New to area and cat was sick. Got me right in, treated appropriately with labs and xray prior to getting crazy. Staff was so nice especially the doctor. Had to put her to sleep but staff was amazing, time spent making sure i was ok was well beyond the charge. The doctor was compassionate and appeared knowledgeable.

Our family has taken our 3 rescue fur babies to VCA for the past 10 years, beginning our relationship with Dr. Ellis, an excellent vet now practicing part time. In that amount of time, you experience the good, (new furry member of your family, bad (two car chasing accidents), and sad (two pet euthanasia experiences). I write this review in pain having just lost our beloved Lab of 10 years, Bethany. There aren’t enough stars in the universe to give Dr. Soileau, Bridgette, Amy and VCA staff, for the love and compassion they showed us in the months leading up to this. They are beyond 5 stars in every way: bedside manner, listening to us and our pups. Two thumbs WAY up!
