Tom Thumb

This Tom Thumb location is excellent. No problems for me finding my items in this store. Everything is well organized and clean, and lots to choose from in each department. Didn't have interactions with any of the employees since I went through the self checkout, but I had a good experience here.

Leila is the Best!!! Most perfect and beautiful cakes, and she decorates or customized with a smile!!! These are the best cakes and desserts in town, please come to this Flagship location here at Preston Rd. And Frankford instead of tollway or Plano location!!! The selection is incredible and just look at the photos!!! Thank you Leila!!!

Beautifull, this store was immaculately clean. The openness, wide aisle, not packed. I felt like we had the place to ourselves. Great prices made the tip worth it. We had the most Professional, Welcoming, Cashier ANNA was the friendliest person I've encountered while in Dallas.

My last customer service job in the late 1990’s. I was hired as a non-foods stock boy to a front end manager. Then was called Flagship Tom Thumb. My hrs were 3p-11p. Love this job and the new shopping center. Miss the area.

This particular Tom Thumb is much better than most. I believe it depends on the area the location is. I used to work for a couple of grocery stores, though not Tom Thumb.

That said, the customer service here is amazing from the cashiers, the floor workers, and specialty departments. If one person can not help, they find someone for you who CAN.

All the usual items can be found here, along with some harder to find products I keep in my shopping rotation at all times. Items within the Louisiana cajun cooking brands and favorites. Including Andouille and Boudin sausage.

The store and ALL departments are very, very clean and constantly kept up. There is plenty of parking and multiple handicapped access parking. Even the parking lot is clean!

It took a few trips to become a fan. Now I am hooked. They jave what I need and its conveniently located. The best thing is they are tied to Randall's in the Safeway family, which allows me to save at both Tom Thumb and Randall's in Georgetown.

I visit my favorite Tom Thumb (The Arbors on Preston Road) regularly but have neglected to write a review. Allow me to present a review from my visit today. From the moment I stepped into their pristine premises, there's an undeniable aura of cleanliness that assured me of the quality I continually to receive.

Each item looks like it's been crafted with love, and they taste just as delightful as they look although I truly miss the streusel coffee cake that used to hold me as a willing captive under its delightful influence.

Now, one might think that for such quality, you'd have to pay a premium. But that's where Tom Thumb defies expectations. Their prices are incredibly competitive, ensuring that quality doesn't come at the cost of your wallet. It's a refreshing reminder that you don't have to compromise on budget to get the best.

Really good produce. Also very organized and easy to find products. The flower department has many selections and good service. The store was clean and well maintained.

Very familiar with the store having just moved to the Dallas area. Great customer service and very well maintained.

Out of all the Tom Thumbs around here, this one us the last one to have the old checkout lines from way back when. All of the others have gone down the dark, heinous, and insidious route of "minimalistic" design and make the checkout lines cramped and uncomfortable. This one still has the lines in the old fashioned welcoming open space design. But I'm afraid that they are remodeling as the floor tiles were being removed so I fear this one will suffer the same fate of becoming like a California/New York void and the very soul of the store will be destroyed leaving behind except a cramped checkout line. For now though still a solid 10.

I've been using this store for years. They have good people who have been there a long time. It is clean, has good produce and a nice deli and meat counter. Tom Thumb can be expensive so get a reward card and take advantage of the gas rewards! Also, I have caught several instances where items dont ring up at the reward prices, so being alert and checking receipts can save money. Any issues I have brought to managers have been resolved to my satisfaction.

Megan is the best help I've seen at this store in the last 6 years. She went well out of her way to help me find what I needed (in the back of the store). She should manage this location, every time I've asked for help in the past I get shruggs and sighs.

This grocery store is the best . Employees are exceptional; always near if you need assistance. Checkout is always fast and accurate. Store is always clean and cared for. Bakery, Dairy and meat items always fresh. If we ever open a store, this is the store we will recruit employees.

I have to be sure to shop with a list when I visit this store, otherwise I buy way too much good food. I never noticed any shortages during the 2020 lock-downs, either. The produce section is very good, and they have a very large wine and beer selection to choose from.

I love this place! They're so meticulous.

This is in general an expensive grocery store compared to Walmart or Kroger or Aldi. But their florist is amazing. The butcher block offers Kosher meats. It's clean and has a slightly different mix of products and brands. I was so excited to see they carry Oak Farms Milk at Ton Thumb. Ever since 7-11 stopped carrying it it's been a struggle to find it. Only Walgreens and now Tom Thumb seem to carry the Dairy Pure brand. Oh yeah the eggs were great too.

Marti was extremely gracious and courteous as I was checking out with my purchase. Thank you for having lanes open for those of us who don’t want to do self checking.

Best experience ever thanks to JOSH!!! Make him employee of the month and give him a raise!!! Talk about the best customer service! I have been in before with my new WIC card and several cashiers have given me attitude and have just not been very helpful towards me figuring out what my card accepted. Today JOSH was very patient and understanding ! He was always smiling and just so polite !! Thank you JOSH! Tom Thumb needs more employees like you !!!! !!!
