Great lawyer!

John was very easy to talk with. Explained my options well to me and was always there to answer any questions that came up until after he felt he was done. I asked him to look into something that was affected by my case after we had figured out the court end (this had to do with Sec of State). He said he had contacted people and he did not. I had been in contact with them before and after he said he "left a message". These people are in no position to lie and actually answered my questions for me. I wouldn't use him for anything major or anything ever again.

My experience with John was not good. He did not file a motion to dismiss. After finding I did not meet the elements of the crime. But told me you better take the deal. It wasn't till I went to the prison law library that I going I did not meet the elements of the crime

Don’t hire him as your lawyer bad at his job

John Seacrest owes me $800, and avoids my calls. He has felons that have worked for LAWNET doing his paperwork around the office as payment for legal services (I have physical proof of this). If you want to snitch he can do that, if you want to defend your freedom he cannot do that. He’ll just keep telling you, “the more money you give me, the better off you’ll end up”. There was falsified information in the police report that was easily able to be proven in my original case that should have made the warrant illegal, but he said it wouldn’t work. Pretty sure the person who snitched was also one of his clients, that or he works for LAWNET. He’s a crook and shouldn’t be aloud to practice law. Never even read my file, promised he could get my history “set aside” (expunged) for $800 even though I specifically told him I do not fall in the Michigan guidelines. I want my $800 John, you criminal. Not to mention the $5,000 you took from me for the original case in which you did absolutely nothing. He tells criminals he’ll get them a better deal or cheaper rates if they can get him more clients, how do you get a lawyer more clients??? He doesn’t want you to win, he doesn’t care, he wants his $5k to party, that’s it. John did not even bring a notepad to court with him and had to tear a page from the prosecutors notepad so he could take notes, after pulling the chair out from under him when he went to sit down. This class clown isn’t amusing and is a scam artist who needs to be stopped.

If I can give him a -5 we would. I don’t understand how people can rob family’s in need and not have heart to see how people work hard to make a living for this attorney to steal from us so easily. Paid him for a service that was never completed. He never showed up to court and has a negativ rude attitude when we call to ask about the case. Theft by deception is a crime and if I have no proof of you doing your service you Liar! . Please do not use JOHN C . Learn from my mistake and seek better help ! I know all cases are diferente but don’t allow him to make a fool of you with false promises and lies.

Secrest is an absolute joke!! Did not defend my son whatsoever. So now is doing prison time. He is arrogant and a lazy smart alike!! He's going to pay for his past.
