Margaritas Mexican Restaurant

We went into Margaritas thinking that the service and food may have tapered off because they’ve been around for so long and Covid hurt a lot of restaurants. Hell no, everything was great. From the fresh margaritas to the chips & salsa to the entrees. We were overly impressed. The service was like a well oiled machine. Everyone helped and owned their roles. Our waitress handled the bar tables. We didn’t catch her name but she was like a ninja. Always there when we need something. What stood out was the food quality and most importantly the affordability. This is a hidden secret if you want great value for your dollar. A+

The chips are super thin which is great. I judge a Mexican restaurant on their salsa and they do it the best. The base Marg is great, fresh lime, but I'd upgrade the tequila; I wish their default was at least El Jimador. The food keeps getting better for healthy options. I had shrimp tacos in lettuce leaves. Made me feel better about eating those great chips. Music is lively and dominates a bit. The atmosphere leans toward a classic Mexican chain restaurant in appearance, but they have a relationship with Mexican artists so the artwork you see actually means a real person benefitted. Overall, it's an upbeat and way better than average Mexican restaurant experience.

JENNA IS FABULOUS! Everyone is friendly. We Go there every week and love the place. It is like Cheers (just gave away my age) .Everyone knows my name..but seriously they are great folks. The bartenders and staff are awesome, kind, friendly and attentive. Heck you actually feel like family. The food ain't bad either! The atmosphere makes this place worth it. If ya swing in say hello to Jenna, Taylor, Brie, Koty, Maeve, and Bob and the rest of the staff. These hard working folks make it worth the visit.

Had a great meal here. The nachos were fabulous. The wait staff was nice, courteous, and attentive. We would come back for sure. Well we did come back. I have to say the food was not as good, the service was fine, and the atmosphere is good. It was probably a 1 off so maybe in the future we'll try again.

Margaritas in Dover, NH is a great option for anyone looking for delicious Mexican food in a lively atmosphere. The food is authentic and delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great Mexican meal.

We just ate here tonight for the first time and it was amazing. To be honest, I was a little hesitant after reading some of the recent reviews but for our experience those couldn’t be further from the truth - the two seating hostesses were exceptionally friendly & made sure we were taken care of right away and given a table we liked. I felt like both of their attitudes were sincere & genuine which for us coming from Chicago (where everyone can be very snippy) was a nice change.

Then came dinner- our waitress was smiling from the beginning & really put us at ease right away. We were discussing drinks & she even went out of her way to ask for a sample of one of their new drink offerings so we could see if we liked it- which meant a great deal to us. The Margs were really good, my husband & I got the Raspberry flavor - highly recommend. For our meals my Mother & I got fish tacos and my husband got shrimp tacos - they even gave him corn tortillas instead of the lettuce ones that come with that meal. Everything was so fresh, crisp & flavorful. 10/10 for quality of food. Our waitress kept our other drinks topped off (water) & never failed to check on us at appropriate times - she was very intuitive. She made sure to offer us to come back again soon and hoped to see us again. I personally would ask for her service again when we hopefully go back soon. (We just moved here a day ago for the first time).

I am always super honest with my reviews & can be critical if I feel someone doesn’t want to help us (Ive worked many years managing in customer service) with that being said- seriously these employees earned our collective admiration*. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to everyone.

I'm gonna tell you right out, we had the margarita flights and got absolutely trashed! But we're lightweights. Each blend of (not frozen, but mixed) margarita was right on. They had to have a jigger full of tequila in each glass, because these were delicious and could tank a 350+ pound guy. Luckily we're staying in the hotel next door, but still. Our waitress Dasha was absolutely awesome and knew just how to do her job. We went with the free salsa and chips, but then decided on the grande dessert with fried ice cream, churros, ice cream, and toppings. The whole thing was absolutely delicious. The folks seemed friendly enough, the tables were really clean (no sticky!), The floor was clean, the air was good, and the music was on par for GenXers. The prices are a bit mid-tier, but once you get your groove on, it's worth it! Great decor, great place! Highly recommended. And then make sure to visit if staying at the Homewood Suites by Hilton next door.

Here is one more place that I had an excellent experience with. The food was awesome the stuff was awesome and the drinks were awesome. I have nothing negative to say about them they were extremely good no not just good great no not just great awesome.

I came in last night to celebrate my 21st birthday and it was fantastic! Our server, Grace V, was the sweetest girl who answered every single question I had (even when I was a bit drunk). The food is great, the margaritas are fantastic (and I didn’t have a hangover!), and the staff is so incredibly friendly and customer service focused. They were super wonderful and Grace was such an absolute angel and I hope she gets a raise because she certainly deserves one. She made me feel so special on my birthday and according to my sober friends, was wonderful with me even when I got a little drunker than intended. I’ll certainly be coming back and I hope Grace will be my server again! Also grace if you’re reading this I hope I wasn’t too much trouble! Thanks for making my birthday so great!

Was great Mexican food! Waitress was awesome with my daughters but allergy. Even brought her a special dessert off the menu to not leave her out! Told manager about the great experience!

Tuesday night was quite in Dinning room. We enjoyed it alot more. Meals were great and arrived super fast.

I've been coming to this Margaritas for years, and it's consistently excellent every single time. The service is great, the hosts are friendly, the food is delicious, and the drinks are perfect! I order many things off the menu, and they even have great options for gluten-free or keto (their lettuce tacos are awesome!!). I recently brought a Latino friend of mine with me, and she couldn't stop complimenting the salsa, saying it was some of the best she'd ever had! That says a lot, considering her family makes homemade Mexican food! The owner of this Margaritas is almost always present. He is friendly and is always checking in on patrons to make sure they're satisfied. It's very clear that he cares very deeply about his business and his patrons. I'm very grateful to have such a great place for food & drink nearby!!

Service was excellent and so was the food. I really wish I caught the waitresses name because she was excellent! Around 7pm tonight (5/5), she sat our group of 7 and provided prompt service. We were sat at 1 of the 2 bigger tables on the non-bar side. She was super kind, especially with how crazy my family gets sometimes😅. Will definitely be coming back for the food and service. If you could thank that waitress for me, I would appreciate it!

I've always loved the margaritas restaurant chain, but I have to be completely honest here and say that the Dover location has had some difficulty with accuracy in terms of to-go orders. I have lived in the area for four years and have placed many takeout orders. It doesn't matter if it's been over the phone, or through the app, or even in person at the restaurant, their track record for accurately fulfilling an order is very low. It's usually a side item was incorrect or not included, sometimes it's more significant than that. The times I have called or realized before leaving the restaurant, to inform them of the mistake, they have always been very polite and take care of the issue. What time it was something rather significant that was wrong, and the manager mailed me a gift card. What is strange is that after all these times, it's still happening. Just make sure if you get takeout, you check the bag before you leave the store!

This place was extremely crowded when I went, however, they had a deal going on so it made sense. But once I was seated at the bar, I was greeted immediately by the bar staff who were friendly and the Margaritas were excellent! I ordered dinner and again was amazed because my meal was excellent! Great atmosphere, clean facilities, awesome food, personable staff and an overall great time. Definitely recommend this place!

We were very needy in the chips and salsa department.

We ordered a handful of margaritas and they were delicious as always. We enjoyed some appetizers in the form of their delicious queso to go with our chips & salsa.

The food was fantastic across the board. Every order came out as expected and was delicious. We stayed for dessert and it was scrumptious.

The atmosphere was wonderful - I love all the colors and decorations! Our waitor was on point and friendly. The food was perfect. We wanted to get dessert but ran out of room!
