Market Basket

I'm new to New Hampshire and am discovering new places every day. The Somersworth Market Basket is really cool. I love the prices, selection and the staff is super friendly! I pick up lots of seafood and the bakery is crazy good.

Market Basket is a great place to shop, especially on the weekends. They always have enough checkers to handle the customers, so you don't have to wait in long lines. The store is clean and the staff is friendly. The prices are reasonable and the quality is good. I enjoy shopping at Market Basket because it is a pleasant and efficient experience.

We have a deep fondness for this place. It served as our go-to grocery store during our 8 years in Dover. It boasts an extensive selection of vegetables and fruits, with a staff that's exceptionally helpful. Their fish section offers a diverse range of choices.

The pricing is quite reasonable, and we frequently come across enticing offers, especially for eggs.

There's plenty of parking space right in front of the shop. However, it's worth noting that while the employees do regularly clear carts, some individuals choose to leave them in the parking area. On windy days, this can pose a risk of carts colliding with cars, so be cautious.

I have never experienced so much HELP than this chain of grocery stores. They are in 2024 what Walmart was in 1984! If you were ever given the Walmart Walk when Mr Walton was still living, you know the customer service I am referring! If you want to zip back to the 80’s, then shop at any Market Basket. We frequent the Somersworth store 🏬 and they won’t let you down.

Well you can see inflation at work buy that's everywhere it seems. Still if you take some extra time you can sort out bargains. Best deals I find are mussels, market basket brand items and veggies. I take my dog in there too and it's easy to get shopping done with her in tow.
I always hit the produce discount rack and save BIG on items which I dehydrate and store in jars.

People loves their Market Basket, so sometimes it's crowded. Good selection of different products, fish counter, deli counter, bakery, beer and wine section, dairy products, soft drinks, meat, frozen section, basic needs and you name it. Quite nice and clean store.

Helpful staff, Fresh Fruits, Veggies and always organized items in every aisle, Only store to get Halal Chicken around this town (that I have known).

Without a doubt, the best large grocery I've ever visited. I normally need to hit four stores to get what I need...this place has almost everything

Clean place, usually well stocked, front faced items. Friendly cashiers, baggers & deli staff & on-the-ball cart people. Occasionally out of a couple of our favorite things like huge rolls of MB premium paper towels & raspberry & orange diet Turkey Hill iced tea. But love this place. Come here all the time. Great prices, good food, great bakery.

Best subs as long as you don't get the face tattoo lady. Everyone is awesome but her.

Great store. Need to keep more registers open all the time.

I do most of my monthly shopping here great prices and helpful employees most things I'm looking for are relatively easy to find

Good prices, good selection. Always pleased with our visits. This time they had backups at their registers since it was lunch time. You know what they did? They opened more registers to move customers along. I don't see that too often.

I love the produce here. Best selection of regular and organic. Great produce prices. Blows walmart and Hannaford away. Fiddle heads is good but small selection. I can't comment on any other groceries or prices

If u cant find your item look behind stuff. They are more concerned with packing things out which isnt necessarily a bad thing! Be grateful

I love shopping here! This store is my favorite in the area. Prices are great! There's a wide selection of local brands Shaw's and Hanaford don't carry. Also, the produce section offers a surprising selection for it's size. My favorite quality I have noticed at this location is that it runs like a machine. There's enough staff to keep shelves clean and constantly stocked. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. Check out lines may get long at rush times, but they always have most of the lines open in response. I had to run in on Christmas Eve and the staff was on point. My trip was far from the nightmare I had anticipated going to the grocery store at such a busy time.

Good prices, usually have what we want in stock. And good produce.
