Thirsty Moose Tap House- Dover

My gf and I went here 3 years ago while on vacation and I never took any photos of my experience. But I always remembered it as one of my favorite restaurants I had ever been to outside of Massachusetts. Recently we went on another trip to Maine and we purposely took a minor detour to stop in halfway through our trip. The drinks are perfect. The beer selection is outstanding. The food made us dream of coming back. What else could a customer want? I’ll be back soon!

Delicious food and great selection for drinks on tap! I tried the pretzel for an app, and the caprese chicken pizza. The pizza was so good I bought it again the next day! Huge selection of ciders and beers on tap. Both waitresses we had were absolutely wonderful. Parking on street nearby is free on Sundays and holidays!

An old brick building on the corner with some outside seating for good weather. Staff knows their beers and they have many. The food is on point! I had a prime rib pizza that was insanely delicious and my hubby had the best burger I have tasted in a while. Brioche bun, blue cheese, caramelized onions! Cooked a perfect medium rare! Try this place!

Over 70 taps offering huge selection of draft beers, along with a 4 page food menu offering quality apps/dinners/desserts! Great place for lunch or dinner!

We got the rib eye sliders. They were yummy. A very extensive beer list. Our server, Sydney was very knowledgeable. Definitely will be back.

This place is unbelievable. Such a massive selection of delicious beers. The Cobb salad was beautifully prepared, and one of the most delicious Cobb salads I’ve ever encountered. 2 of my friends got the burgonzola and they both said it was the best burger they’d had in a long time. Our waitress Giovanna was extremely kind and helpful and very attentive. Overall spectacular experience.

What a great location! I have always had great service here, the pizza is really good, I have also had the nachos and a burger, no complaints!

Great as expected. Wife and I try to come down at least once a month. How can you go wrong with a great tasting pizza at half price? This time my son and I tried the pulled pork. Loaded with pulled pork, BBQ sauce, red onions and the kicker that takes it over the top Dill pickles. The pickles add the right balance to the pizza, without them I feel it would be too sweet from the BBQ sauce. Great job again at the Thirsty Moose!

LOVE the food and the service! Korean BBQ grilled wings — can’t recommend enough!!! Sweet red chili was also good, good balance of texture, heat and flavor. We did 3 and 3 (or really 6 and 6.) it was enough food honestly for my brother and I!Were full before our entrees came.

Come here every time we are in Dover. Great beer selection and food. Bartenders are in point.

Stopped in for an appetizer and a beer in what seems to be a busy night in downtown Dover on a Friday night; Great food and our server Dan was very attentive!! With all these other people here he made us feel like we were the only ones here! Thank you Dan!

I’ve been to this location a couple Times and the one in Portsmouth about 20x. The beer selection is off the charts of course. I bring friends just to read the menu.
The staff is usually younger women which is preferred for the single guy. They are very helpful and knowledgeable.
The pizza is always done well. Proper nachoes. Wings were pretty tasty. Vegetarian options are slim. Monday’s is buy one get one on pizza.

It's always a fun place to visit!

Great variety of beers and a large, welcoming atmosphere. Buffalo chicken pizza was delicious. Our server was very friendly and prompt with our drink and food orders.

Service is good, food is good, beer by the plenty. How can you go wrong? Large variety of appetizers to mix and match, as well as some pretty awesome pizza (which on Thursday are half price all day)!

Can and WILL recommend the prime rib dip. Melts in your mouth. Perfectly cooked. Deffinitely getting it again!

Emma was our server at Thirsty Moose in Dover - she was AWESOME!!!!! So personable, so kind, and so dedicated to giving us great service. She had us laughing and making sure we were taken care of the whole night. This place is great and such a fun time. The food was awesome, but the people are what make it great!!!!
