Busy place.. snagged the last spot at the bar. Cool place to get a cocktail and watch the kitchen cook up steaks and seafood on the BBQ. Waiter was cool and my water glass was always full. Ordered the beef short ribs to hit the spot! Definitely, would come here again.

Never a bad meal here! The wait is always worth it, and is often shorter than they say it'll be.

Highly recommend trying a bit of everything on the menu, everything they make is excellent and the portions are very generous. Take leftovers to save toom for dessert - a warm butter cake or brownie a la mode with a coffee is a great way to end the evening.

Seasonal cocktails are always refreshing and imaginative, while still being reasonably priced.

One of the best restaurants left in the peninsula that caters to great service, food and drinks .you can't go wrong with anything on the menu starting with the appetizers are very savory to start off your entrée to the dessert menu just to finish with a smile. The aricini and the meatball calamari appetizers is a good start. Also the soft butter cake is one of the go to desserts you should order. Don't forget about service the waiters offer. Its like dinning out in a old school restaurant where everybody is very attentive to you. Great place to celebrate anything or just a casual place to impress guest.

First time experience and was not disappointed! Everyone was amazing and the service was on point. Great menu and took the suggestion for the Salmon from the Hostess Riley. We sat at the counter and the Grill Chef asked if we would like it Special...Salmon was perfectly grilled and delicious. Not a place you have a quick bit but like I said, an experience

I really enjoyed my first time in this restaurant. The food was amazing. The service was impeccable, Ismael was really good, professional, and knowledgeable. I had veal milanese and my friend the salmon. I've never tried a better butter cake like the one they make.
The drinks are very well made as well. I will definitely come back to try some other dishes.

The only downside is the parking. Was really difficult to find, and the French fries dry and hard.

This is one of our go to spots for celebrations. You MUST make a reservation and be aware that parking is always problematic. If you can get past those two details you’ll have a great experience.

Love this place. Super welcoming vibe. Great service, great food, great atmosphere. It's no wonder it's a lot of local folks' favorite spot.

Such a great spot for a nice dinner or drink. Yet counter seating is also possible. Excellent Italian and Steaks. But the salad are great too! Classic Californian eatery.

Treated myself to a nice late lunch for one. Ordered the pork chop with caramelized onions and mushrooms and the silky mashed potatoes. Finished off with their butter cake. Sat in the lounge soaking in atmosphere enjoying my little lunch for one. Oh! My server was amazing! Missed her name but she was amazing.

Located in Daly City right off John Daly Blvd.
I have not been here for several years, but this is still a great place to eat.
Omar our server was very warm, welcoming and attentive.
What we ordered:
1.) Club sandwich. The sandwich was very made with very fresh lettuce and tomatoes, turkey and bacon. French fry’s were crisp on the outside and moist on the inside.
2.) Meatball Sandwich was tasty
3.) Ravioli and meatball. Just as I remembered it fresh and great tasting meat sauce pasta cooked perfect.
I come here every time I am in town as I can always count on the food to be consistent.

Dinner, as always, was amazing. Bruno steak was cooked to perfection, and the ravioli was wonderful with incredible flavor. Sitting at the counter is so much fun. Just watching the chefs create the meals is a show. Their interactions with each other are a delight to watch. Amelio, our server , was pleasant and made sure we were satisfied with our meal.

Iconic restaurant 😁 seems to be even better than when I was a kid! Definitely worth the wait.

Although I grew up in SF, and my Mother recommended that we go to Joe's for dinner, a place her and Dad used to frequent What a wonderful experience!! However, it was very crowded when we arrived and the Hostess was gracious and patient with all guests. So we used OpenTable and made reservations to come back in a couple of days.

Upon our return, we were promptly seated in a quaint area by the fireplace. Our server, Alberto, was very attentive. The appetizers and food came out esthetically pleasing and tasted great! We ordered desserts as well.

However, parking was a challenge, especially since my Mom and I were both disable. But other than that, I highly recommend making reservations. I will certainly return to the Original Joe's of Westlake.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. It has great atmosphere and food quality is always good. It’s a great spot for brunch or occasions.

My first time ever visiting this Restaurant. From the Ambiance to the Host to my Waiter (Miguel G) to my delicious dinner. I enjoyed it immensely. It was our date night. I asked my waiter to help me select between two different entrees and he said definitely the steak (PorterHouse) it was cooked to perfection. I added potatoes and steamed veggies to compliment it. When I tell you I enjoyed everything I mean just that. My husband said this place has been around for forever. His parents use to visit regularly. My waiter was The Best. His name is MIGUEL G. Thank you Miguel for your Excellent Customer Service we will definitely be back. This is my New Go to Restaurant. If I could I would give it 100 stars 🌟 everything was Grand!!!

Amazing Italian food! Well worth the wait, but its preferable to reserve a table to save time. Our server was friendly fast and attentive.

We had caesar salad, the meat ravioli and lasagna alongside mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes are so incredibly soft snd airy; probably the best we’ve had in a while. Any entree with their tomato meat sauce is worth trying.

Cant wait to come back and try non-Italian dishes that looked delicious like their sliders, calamari and meat balls.

Joe's House Special Ravioli and Meatballs is still the same as I remember it. It's been more than 20 years since the last time I ate there when my Dad was still alive. I liked the remodeled restaurant that still kept the Original Theme from the past built into the new modern Century. A co worker took me here today to treat me me for Lunch. We both went at 11am when the Restaurant opened as a walk in without a reservation.

Original Joe's is pretty amazing. The place was packed at 6:30pm with about a 30 minute wait for a table. It is nice to see everyone going out for a meal again. Even the really old folks were out. We had the Reuben sandwich $17 and their famous cheeseburger $22. This was my first time trying out their Reuben sandwich. The corned beef was sliced thin making it easy to chew. The Swiss cheese blended well with the sauerkraut and marble rye. The portion size will fill a good size stomach. I like how you get a choice of coleslaw, fries or a salad. Service remains excellent. The vibe here is sort of like a higher end diner with booths and a full bar without the pretentious clientele. I'll be back soon.

A great place to hang with friends! Delicious brunch, lunch and dinner selections as well as desserts. Espresso martini- yummy! Butter cake- amazing! Linguine with clams- outstanding! Hash and eggs- delish and enough for two people. The decor was updated to fantasy retro. Great light fixtures, beautiful views out the windows, cozy fireplace. Get there and enjoy yourself!
