Very pleasant experience. Excelente service and excellent wine with a vew of the inner ferry terminal plaza. I really enjoyed the bread and soft triple cream cow's milk cheese, wow! Delicious.

I was lookong for a quick snack along the pier. As I walked by I saw how this team was interacting with clients. So I stopped in for a glass of delicious wine and a salumi plate. Very friendly people. Good vibe. Good price. not from here, but i would definately stop in again!. Worth the stop.

The bar has a super nice trash can. The table is located inside the ferry terminal, along the central aisle. Good home. The amount of glass wine is impressive and the quality is very high. You can eat 1 plate of cold meat or cheese (1 local number!). They also serve beer. Frankly, the super lunch break. On the other hand, it is expensive but considering the place and quality...

Staff was super friendly. A great place to come unwind after work. We had a platter with Brie cheese, some burrata with prosciutto, assorted salumi plate. There are places to sit at the bar or they have some tables as well.

Couple of beers and an amazing selection of Cheese with a baguette. This place is a lovely stop after a busy day.

Beers and wines from around the region and the world if required, the cheese was out of this world, in particular the goats cheese.

The cheese we chose was the Special Cheese Combo with marinated olives and mushrooms and a fig chutney.

Chris served us and offered excellent service.

Cute wine tasting spot in the historic San Francisco Ferry Building! They offer various tasting flights as well as wines by the glass, carafe and bottle. Good selection and nice atmosphere, worth a visit if you’re in the area!

A wine bar that combines some of the best eats at the Ferry Plaza... I don't think I could ask for more than Cowgirl Creamery's Mt. Tam, cured meat from Boccalone and Prather Ranch; satisfyingly complete with a glass of wine ... or two.
This adorable little liquor shop includes a bar and just a few high-top tables for patrons to enjoy drinks and relax.

$31.75 Italian Salumi & Cowgirl Cheese Combo - 5 oz. half round of Mt. Tam, Prather Ranch Soppressata, Boccalone Lonza, Prather Ranch Country Ham, w/ Boccalone whole grain mustard, olive mix, Acme Epi baguette, McQuade's Celtic Fig & Ginger Chutney:
My friend and I shared this platter along with a couple glasses of white and red. I don't remember which wines we had, but they were delicious.
It's been a while since I've had Mt. Tam triple-cream cheese. It is just as smooth and buttery as I remember. The Acme epi is one of my favorite breads as well. It really is an excellent combination.
The soppressata had a chewier texture, while the lonza was more delicate, and the country ham was sliced super thin. The fig and chutney were nice accoutrements, but I usually don't feel the need to add on. The bread, cheese, and meat are already so good together.

I'm sure I'll be back to enjoy more wine in the future. Perhaps next time I'll try the burrata as well.

I am not a wine drinker and so can't speak to the quality of the wines other than I enjoyed my glass. They have a wide selection of not only wines but beers too.

The staff were attentive and were more than happy to suggest a wine for me. We sat and enjoyed some of the charcuterie while chatting away.

It's not cheap but it's certainly a lovely way to spend an afternoon. They even have phone chargers so you can power up while you're winding down.

Came to the wine bar before dinner on a Friday at around 540pm. Place was full and needed to wait around 5 mins for a seat - place has high turnover of seats so not too long a wait.Great selection of wines and the bar tenders gave good recommendations.
We had the burrata and it was absolutely delicious - definitely recommend if you want something fresh and light to nibble on before dinner.
Definitely worth popping in for a drink or two.

Great specialist wine merchant, with the added positive of a bar area with great bread and cheese and houmous.

Missed the ferry two days in a row…so wine it was to kill time. The ladies working are super awesome, the Pinot was great, charcuterie delicious. Best part I left my ferry pass on the bar and she chased me down the ferry building to give it to me. One of the long standing businesses at the ferry building and that’s the reason, wine and great service. Thank you!

The Wine Merchant is located in the main passage of the Ferry building. We had a large platter of prosciutto and burrata cheese with tasty hard torpedo-type rolls and a carafe of the 2020 Castell Silvaner wine from the German area of Franconia. The waitress was great and gave us each a glass of Italian bubbly on the house at the end of our visit. All in all, it was a pleasant lunch experience.

Good spot when you are after a glass of good wine. Had a very good glass of Pinot Noir from the Russian Valley. Why not offer local bubbles from Napa and elsewhere? Our soft cheese plate (with a good piece of baguette and fig chutney was also a tasty complement to our drinks.

Pause your wandering of the Ferry terminal for a glass of wine and some wonderful snacks. We shared the manchego platter and do not regret it one bit. Great service and great selection of wines.
