Trader Joe's

My first time in any Trader Joe's. First impression:
1. Lots of varieties except for raw rice
2. The staffs are helpful and nice
3. There was a long queue (maybe because it was in the evening)
And I got one of the orange chicken bowl (so good)

We went crazy shopping here. Living on the Big Island of Hawaii and in Cabo San Lucas makes us hunger for Trader Joe's. We spent a fair amount of money buying pate, creamy cheeses, baguette, frozen dinners and many other fun eating items. What a treat shopping. So, back in our hotel room with enjoyed a bottle of champagne with the pate, creamy cheese, sliced meat and baguette. Not so bad after all!

A grocery store in downtown San Francisco. Lots of stuff and fresh. It's my personal favorite american supermarket chain with a lot of pb products and good cost-effectiveness.

Well, my fellow Americans, if you find yourself in the City by the Bay, I must direct you to Trader Joe's on 4th Ave in San Francisco. Ah, you'll walk through those doors and think you've discovered the supermarket equivalent of the American Dream!

The staff—why, they're friendlier than a small-town parade. They guide you through the aisles as if you were an explorer, setting forth on your own Manifest Destiny of organic produce and artisan cheeses. The prices? They're so reasonable, even a fiscal conservative like me can't complain.

And let's talk about their snacks—oh my, you'll feel like you've won the Cold War against hunger itself! I particularly enjoyed their "Everything but the Bagel" seasoning; it's like diplomacy in a jar—effective, versatile, and a crowd-pleaser.

So take it from the Gipper: Trader Joe's on 4th Ave is a national treasure. Five stars, without a doubt. God bless you, and God bless Trader Joe's.

Great variety of selections here; however, I've noticed that it takes a while for this store to get the latest items. The crew are always helpful and friendly. When you're shopping for groceries, try to avoid coming between 5-7PM as the line to checkout can be hefty. They tend to go pretty quickly though, but the store get pretty hectic and crowded with customers.

Good groceries option in San Francisco. Price reasonable, big inventory, good service.

This trader Joe's is great! I'm a Safeway shopper mostly, but I have to have trader Joe's veggie fried rice and their chicken fried rice. so delicious! Also their fruits and veggies are great. The staff is always knowledgeable and friendly. Good job guys. Thanks for showing you care.

Even with a long line, the wait for a cashier was super quick! Plus this Trader Joe's location had a lot of selection to choose from. A nice go-to right by my work commute.

Great staff that's always super helpful and willing to go above and beyond to find information and products. Great example: I eat salmon nearly every day and I am obsessed with their BBQ cut, skin on, Norwegian salmon, which is often out in the refrigerated section if you go later in the day as this is a very busy location. On multiple occasions I've asked if someone could see if there was any in the back and have always had a staff member eager to check for me for this and other items as well. Love this TJ's! 🫶🏽

I love Trader Joe's but I came in a 6pm to this location got the first time aaaaand my goodness... the line is insane. It wraps around the aisle over from the registers... I love you but I'm leaving:)

I feel good giving em five stars, TJ's is my rock! All of the employees I've encountered there have been helpful and usually outright friendly! As a vegan on a shoestring budget, I'm grateful for your kind customer service/management staff. Too many times I have carelessly bought items that looked so good, only to find there's something in it I don't eat. They always let me turn it in, partially used, (ugh!) for store credit.

I bought ribs for a potluck in creative arts at ccsf

They don't always have what I crave but I like what they have. The long lines at 4th St store move faster than Ross! They ran out of liver pate. Now it's back. They now carry ginger. The surprise are always a treat. No turmeric or Jerusalem artichokes, have to visit Safeway or Whole Foods. And Mission St or Chinatown for touchy feely green leafy. Love the newsletter, it always makes me smile and drool.

What's good about going to this location are 3 things you may not experience at other locations. Location: it's at the center of all major MUNI connections; grab a snack or quick dinner essentials and jet. Basics: this can be your grab-n-go for unplanned dinner dates or last-minute swoops for missing menu ingredients. Good for weekly staple grocery shopping too. Speed of Staff: probably the fastest, most dialed-down staff, from questions to fast as hell check outs, it's kinda unreal...the lines look long af at first, but 7-10 min line wait tops, frfr. Look for the rare carrot cake offering ...it's the unicorn here

The last grocery store in a ten block radius from home and one of my favorite places to get fresh flowers within budget and always great savings. The checkouts are fast and last grab selections are thoughtful. They hire happy emoyeez here. Keep up the great work.

Decent sized TJs in the downtown area at the Macy's basement

Underground supermarket was huge with lot of variety of Fresh produce, groceries/ plants/flowers/ alcohol to choose from. Long queue To pay but it’s moving constantly. Lots of Xmas stuffs to buy. The customer service counter guy was very friendly and answered my queries on some products.

If you want medium prices on food that were manufactured 30 years ago. This is the place for you. "trader joes" generic name for generic product to test on the public to see if we will still eat and enjoy it. Fact. Yes we will.

Great place to buy groceries with lots of healthy options, different brands and really great ice cream.

Great Trader Joe's. Lines are super long, especially in the afternoon after work, but they have a lot of cashiers so the line moves pretty quickly. Love their products; prices and quality of their items are great!
