Scrambled

Cool little downtown spot. Right in the middle of downtown. Plenty do see and do when here. We stopped for breakfast on our way out of town. My skillet was delicious! Whatever they do with their gravy is delicious. Highly recommend giving this place a try. You can sit indoors and people watch while you eat. You can sit in a "patio" area that is usually covered as well. My wife loves their french toast! My one and only complaint was how thin/small the country ham slice was. Outside of that, great visit!

Had an absolutely lovely breakfast here. I got a blueberry pancake, and the veggie eggs & turkey sausage on the side, all of which were delicious! The pancakes are *very* large, one takes up a whole dinner plate as shown in the photo. The coffee was also unexpectedly wonderful; since getting a home espresso machine a couple years back I’ve become spoiled for regular brewed coffee, but this stuff was an exception. I didn’t even feel like I needed any sweetener, just added a bit of milk and it was nicely flavorful with only a hint of bitterness! Service was reasonably quick when we were there on a Friday morning and it wasn’t too busy. Strongly recommend to anyone else looking for a good breakfast/brunch spot.

This place was AMAZIN’! The quality of food and service were excellent. My party and I even had a chance to talk to the owner, who was so sweet. Their pancakes are enourmous! I got the blueberry one and it was so tasty. You also can’t go wrong with their skillets. They’re loaded with eggs, hashbrowns, gravy and a meat of your choosing. I went with the sausage. Sooo good! You won’t be sorry you chose this place.

It's the second time my husband and I visit Scrambled, food is VERY tasty, right size food portions (won't leave your stomach bloated or upset 😉) my favorite so far is the Southwest Star city Scramble with vanilla French toast. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

My husband and I frequent this gem on occasions. I love their pancakes and french toast. Food is always good and the atmosphere is always pleasant and quaint. 10/10 recommend and hope to see you all there next time.

AMAZING breakfast spot. Probably my favorite in Roanoke. Love the French toast, scrambled eggs and home fries. The biscuit are great gravy not to my taste. Always great service and the owners are always friendly and very attentive.

Excellent food and service! Mismosas were fun and good, ham biscuits, scramble, and French toast were all great!

Super solid breakfast. Got the star city skillet. Everything tasted great, sausage gravy was nice and smooth. Potatoes were crispy but soft on the inside. Eggs cooked a good overmedium. Coffee was hit and fresh. Prices are decent.

Excellent place to grab breakfast in Roanoke! Staff goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The biscuits and gravy one of a kind. I highly recommend this place!

We frequently breakfasted in Portland OR, a famously “foodie “ city … Scrambled’s breakfast format far exceeded anything we’d had before. Just the right amount of sage made the gray scrumptious. The French toast wasn’t soggy and was so tasty that we didn’t need syrup. Kendra, our waitress, was delightful and very attentive.

My friend and I enjoyed an awesome breakfast here! The waitstaff were extremely attentive. Despite the cold temperatures we were able to sit comfortably on the heated patio. We had regular refills and check-ups during our meal. Our food came out piping hot and tasted delicious!

We will eat here each time we visit Roanoke. We are from NC and have family here. Everything was delicious! Perfect for picky eaters and sophisticated palates! The owner is so kind and attentive. Our waitress Nevada was awesome, knew the menu and her suggestions were spot on! A must stop!!

Good place to get a quick breakfast. The restaurant is bright and inviting. The restaurant was very clean and the staff very friendly.

Our breakfast was hot and fresh and our meals were prepared as ordered. My omelette was very good.

I will be back. Love the location. Love the setup. Your place is in inviting. I enjoyed my breakfast. The bacon was the best part. Your menu was setup well. Did not have enough room for the French toast. Wow!

Just got to visit again and my mouth was watering before we got there.

I decided to stop in for a quick bite after dropping off someone at the Amtrak station. Quick bite, was indeed very quick! I got the Sausage Gravy Biscuit. Pleasant service from Whitney :)

Food was 10/10 . Also had a taste of their pancakes which was amazing and the pancakes are the size of a big plate ! Drinks were strong and tasty as well . Staff was friendly too , Definitely want to return !!!!!

I ate here for the first time recently and fell in love. The sausage gravy biscuits are out of this world and easily the best I've ever had. My partner had the Star City Skillet and couldn't get over how good it was. Their nephew had the French Toast and said it was amazing too. The wait staff and owner are super friendly. Indoor and outdoor seating availability. Even when they are busy, your wait time is never that long. Highly recommend! 🙌

I've lived in Roanoke for 2 years and for some reason just made it to Scrambled for the first time. I have to say this is one of my new favorite brunch spots. I got the pomegranate mimosa and it was delicious and beautiful. I was impressed with the presentation including the orange slice on top of the glass. My husband got the bloody Mary and really enjoyed it. The food was delicious and well prepared. The playlist they had going on this particular morning was so great --late 90s/early 2000s tunes had my husband and I feeling delightfully nostalgic. Our waitress was also great and very attentive. We will definitely be back!
